That's why you should use the same password for every single login you use. Think of something clever like P455W0RD or something. Nobody will ever figure it out. You essentially have to do this, because for the life of me I can't remember a single website that has a "I forgot my password" button. Exists only in fantasy.

Just have patience, Fren. It'll go away for good eventually. Having it "come back" as you imply is likely a glitch in the matrix. I know of nobody here who gets their handshake back after losing it. As another Fren said, it takes a certain amount of time and also post activity if I remember correctly.

Your account is only 5 days old, and I do not think it 'went away' - if you have a screenshot of your account with it gone or if it happens again before the short while you are in 'newb' status that would be odd. Otherwise just wait a few days and be active and it'll be gone before you know it. People tend to be defensive against new accounts for obvious reasons so just make sure you are posting quality comments or you will probably get downvoted more than normal.

I don't know what would cause one to receive their handshake again aside from a system glitch. Haven't seen that before. I think I had my handshake for about 2 weeks or so before it was removed. They want to make sure people aren't just "drive-by" shills, etc.
