So I took some cash out of the bank
🤡 Clown World 🌎
It was more than usual. The teller's manager came over to ask me what it was for. I was so taken aback I didn't say "How is that any of your business?" Which really shocked my husband because I am usually quick on the draw that way. How did we get here? The bank thinks they are the boss of what I do with my money? Just like the IRS things THEY should be auditing US??? We should be asking them where OUR money is, no?
Rant over. Just thought it was interesting how they chip, chip chip away. Over time, we kind of forget who was supposed to be in charge of what.
Lol had the same experience on the first withdrawal and said “privacy act prevents me from telling anyone”. Branch manager was taken back.
Another good one! I need you guys to follow me around and help me out. And I am the proud wearer of a "I speak fluent sarcasm" t-shirt gifted to me by a loved one.
Mine: "sarcasm is my love language"
Next time, tell them "hookers and blow" :)
They were probably worried you were being scammed. Like people sent out to buy Apple gift cards to "pay their taxes" with.
Perhaps but still an invasion of privacy. The banker is not my caretaker (I don’t think I need that yet 😂).
I think that's exactly it. Scammers sometimes ask people to get cash to buy prepaid cards.
Even so, being asked what it's for is 1984 creepy.
You should have said --with a straight face--, "I'm giving it all to 'unhoused migrants'" and flashed a bland smile :)
I like to say hookers and coke, just like the residence son.
90% for booze and women. The rest I will spend foolishly.
That is my new goto!
I say this all the time. It’s the only way IMO.
I WISH I HAD!!!!! The perfect retort.
Save it--sadly, you will probably get another chance to use it-- we are in such a mess....
That's for sure.
I just prefer to say something like 'sweets'. :)
"Groceries, ugh, prices these days"
We went to get a large cashiers' check for a real estate transaction, same routine...I bit my tongue because the teller could derail the whole event and I end up in cuffs, or worse.
Perfect!
Should have said my boys trangender surgery and kegs of bud light for the party afterwards.
I always tell them, "I'm just moving money around. It's not good to leave it too long in any one place." They usually just stare at me.
Hahah
A similar thing happened to me. It was a large check from a customer of mine, and I was cashing it at his bank because I use a credit union that was not local to where I was. Fucker asked me what I did to earn it. I told him that it was none of his business, that it didn't matter if it was a hand job or otherwise. They refused to cash it. Until my/their customer called and reamed them out that is. Don't ever back down from any of it. It's that simple.
I once said the same thing about a hand job, and the manager demanded I give him one or they wouldn’t cash the check.
Things can get really sticky these days.
I was moving funds around earlier in the year to pay property taxes and two of my banks asked. And I did say to both of them “well it doesn’t seem to me like that’s any of your business.” One of them explained that there’s been a rash of people getting held up. Apparently people watch them walk out of the bank follow them home or wherever they’re going and then pull a gun on them and steal whatever cash they have. I don’t know that I buy that. I just replied don’t worry about me. I’ve got myself protected. Ha ha.
What does someone getting held up have to do with your plan for your own money? There’s no connection between their question and their excuse for asking it.
They are hiding behind a story of ransom or similar: "We are concerned that you are in a dangerous situation and WE WANT TO HELP YOU." Total BS.
Good point.
All the teller did was signal to everyone around you that you were making a large withdrawal. I mean, if it were $20, they would hand it over to you and not say anything. Make a large withdrawal, and everyone now knows you made it because the teller is asking this question. Anything over about $50 I ask the teller not to count out loud for anyhow. No need for everyone in the bank to hear how much money I am walking out with. They count it to themselves as they lay it on the counter, I count to myself as they do that also. They put it in an envelope, I shove it in my purse, no one knows how much I have. Why do they count your money so loud out to you? Do they think I can't count if they just put it on the counter one by one? Are we all that retarded???
Several years ago, we hired a guy to come in and do some re-modeling work in the house we had at the time. He had that happen at a Lowes or Home Depot - he paid cash for something, and someone who saw that he had a wad of cash in his pocket followed him home, beat the snot out of him, and made off with his cash.
All I can say is if you're going to carry cash, make sure that's not the only thing you're carrying. We should all carry, regardless. It wouldn't surprise me if they start charging anyone carrying a lot of cash, like they do hunters who bait their prey.
Well, that and, DON'T PULL OUT THE WHOLE FREAKING WAD IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY
My thought exactly! We have things called wallets to hide the amount of cash we carry…why would someone pull out a big roll of bills to pay for something, stuff the rest of the roll back in his pocket, and then not be careful or observant about who might be following him?
Bragging
“It’s for this reputable Prince in Uganda who I agreed to help out out via email! I’ll be returning here soon to deposit the return on this investment and show you how financially big brained I am!”
I wonder if he knows my prince in Nigeria?
Back in April of 2021 my banker sent me an email:
I am writing to inform you that, by law, cash withdrawals made at any bank or post offices transfer are reported for an amount exceeding € 1,999 (from January 2022 it will become € 999) and it may be necessary to explain the reason.
Could you give me the motivation please?
My response:
Our outgoings for running the farm are often more than what I am now allowed to draw from the bancomat (ATM) and so need additional cash.
I am also worried about the financial stability of Italy at present, with all the limits placed on withdrawals, and so want some cash on hand if things turn bad.
However, I need to say, that in the end this is my money I entrust with the bank. No-one should question what I am doing with my own money. And clearly, you have been told to question me so you are just doing your job, but the last time I looked, we are not yet a communist government.
Did you know , the bank is required by law to report to the IRS if a transaction is more than 9000 per week I believe. But not credit unions. Imagine what they will do if we go digital. And why does the IRS keep track🤔
Federal Law allows for $9,999.99 per day without it being reported to the IRS. That is withdrawal or deposit. Hit the $10K mark and you are filling out paperwork, form 8300. Withdrawals from a tax deferred account has to be reported regardless of the amount because it is considered income. It has been like this for years. They want to tax it as much as they can. The reason that they do this is to track the large movement of money used for criminal activity. Thing is they don't have to do shit to give it away fraudulently to pay off their debts for their own criminal activity.
But well under $10k still gets reported, and if you take out $2k over multiple transactions they'll investigate you for structuring.
If they have their way about it, they still want to monitor anything processed for 600.00 or more. It is serious over reach and even though I work in the industry, I don't trust it one damn bit.
Thanks , I knew someone would know, I just bought a house with cash awhile back (5 years) and my realtor told me 9000 a week, and I made 5 withdrawals in 5 weeks. But things change, thanks again
^^^ been this way for years.
As from the year 2012, the IRS made e-filling of Form 8300 available which is free of charge. If you or your business has received a cash payment of over $10,000, the Federal law requires that you file Form 8300 within a span of 15 days after receiving the receipt.
Additionally, the IRS considers any exchange that takes place within less than 24 hours as a transaction that should be filed in Form 8300. You don’t need to file cash donations if you run a tax-exempt charitable organization.
This is why all these elites have their fraudulent organizations set up.
Also why grifters like Mike pence who know they don't have a snowballs chance in hell to win will throw in their hat to fill their coffers.
precisely. find a credit union and go there. nfcu is the largest.
Credit Unions have to report this the same as any bank in the US. For those interested I am attaching a link that gives a run down on how it all works for the most part. They have been tracking large sums of money since the 70's.

I have been in the banking industry for 20+ years. I have never made it to a management position or anything higher than quality control because I have a big mouth and the upper echelon don't like people like me. I keep as little as possible in the bank because i don't want anyone getting rich off of my money. I have seen first hand how the industry is and no one wanted to listen to the conspiracy theorist crazy lady when I tried to explain that the Federal reserve was privately owned and literally has nothing to do with the government. These are the things people don't care to know.
I wish I had enough money to worry about someone getting rich off my money. You get rich off my money your one bad mofo.
Last time I took some out the teller casually made a comment to me also like, "I guess you have a big weekend planned", I just said something like "yup, if you call paying the bills a big weekend".
I withdrew $10k the other day. The teller manager asked me what I do for a living. I asked why. She said because of all this money.
Unbelievable.
I should've said I work undercover for the bank, investigating reports of rudeness and improper lines of questioning by tellers. Naturally, I thought of that line later. :p
It is for our protection -of course.
Anti-Money laundering updates.
This would take congress to change back the rules, banks to become criminals, or people to demand.
Essentially it is a mask mandate law but for cash.
Maybe the states needs to separate again. It is something that is not good for legal citizens and for cash.
The democratic persons who are on welfare ; police/fire/public rulers—will not care. Mostly business owners who deal in cash and citizens who buy bullion, ammo, guns with cash. It is a a way to go after the 2A and 4th Amendments as well as conditioning welfare recipients of conformity.
I am rambling but it is a very sophisticated thing they did against citizens who essentially use cash.
The states hold all powers not explicitly given to the feds. They are already separate, which is part why this country is so amazing. It’s a really inspired system. Deep state and globalists are trying to make Americans forget the truth about our freedoms.
Understood•. Money is like drugs to these states. They are hooked like those junkies in Philly. They are standing hunched over and doing nothing for hours-then all of a sudden they come to just long enough to get another needle given to them by the federal government.
The get anyone to quit anything they must first want to quit and I do not think any state has the courage to want to quit.
For more drugs (money) they will dance and out on an amazing show on.
Then the voters think they are taking the lesser evil and yet that is a lie.. they really don’t even matter but they do matter.
Amazing things can be done if people have courage and hopefully it stops spinning in circles going down..
Ask if answering that question is a "condition" for returning your money.
Every time I go they do the same. Several different banks.
Especially if over $5k
My response is the same as yours every time.
None of your business!
Jimmy Smith of 123 Street has some original 1970's sealed figurines that he/him will only accept cash for
Recently I took most of savings out of the bank to store at home bc I want to have access to it. You can't really trust what's going to happen to the banks going forward, was my thinking. No one asked me about the withdrawals probably bc I took the money out via the ATM (my credit union is in another state from the one I live in so ATM at another credit union is the way I get and deposit cash).
But, if someone had asked me what the $ was for, after I hopefully would have asked them what business it was of theirs, I would have told them I was taking money out bc I'm thinking their bank will fail. Wonder how they'd like that response?
What they really hate is when you max out on a card and make minimum payments. They downgraded my credit for that.
Huh? They LOVE that. Thats the perfect customer for them.
I kind of agree with you on this one.
I think they hate me as a credit card customer. I buy lots of things on the card, and then pay it off before 6pm the next day.
You know they make a transaction fee from the merchant every time you use your card. They are still making money whether you pay interest or not.
Now, they're not making that money from a lot of merchants, especially smaller mom & pop shops/restaurants. These places have started passing that fee on to any customer paying by plastic. Most recently, my wife an I had to pay an extra 3% at an antique store. I harbor no ill will or resentment to the shops.
This is analogous to what happens when the government raises taxes on manufacturers and other corporations - we, the consumers, are the ones getting screwed. These companies aren't going to take the hit, they're just going to pass it on.
They should say Discount for cash! Instead they make it sound like you are getting charged MORE than normal. I wish every establishment did this. The CC make bazillions of this scam for doing basically nothing.
I use a cc for EVERYTHING unless they give a discount for cash. The CC gives me back several thousand dollars yearly for cash back bonus.
I use cash when they offer discounts for cash or it is a “mom and pop” establishment.
Yeah they dont like that at all.
You would think so, but they consider me to be a high risk now. I've never missed a payment.
My guess is that, this is the result of the suppsoed changes to banking system as its weaned off of the "magic money" from the central banks.
Let me copy/paste a letter from Synchrony Bank when I applied for a Harbor Freight card:
We have received your request for a credit product with HARBOR FREIGHT issued by Synchrony Bank. Unfortunately, we are unable to approve your request at this time.
Our decision was based in part on a credit scoring system that was used to evaluate your request. The most significant reason(s) where you did not score well are listed below:
Recency of a balance overlimit on a bankcard account
Not enough available credit on revolving accounts
Patriot Act shit moving to elimination of cash.
They hate it even more when you max it out and then just stop paying - I was pretty much forced to do thst
The young teller at my bank told me cash was dead last time I withdrew. They are brainwashing them already to accept dollar is gone.
Next time tell them you are taking it out before you steal it from me.
It is so precious when they think you have to negotiate with them for taking YOUR MONEY OUT. It is not even up for discussion.
Once heard a guy complaining about being audited by the IRS. Another dude said something like "Hell, why don't you get a CPA and an attorney and sue to audit them back?" Not sure that it would work, but I would imagine it would create waves and might work in our favor if any of us end up audited.
"Hookers and coke is my goto.."
Couple of years ago. Two male tellers at the drive thru. Taking out a couple of grand. Get asked what are you taking it for. My answer, I'm a bank robber. Got some nervous laughter and my money. Thank you, have a nice day. Bye.
Yeah it’s getting a little crazy. I went through the drive thru of a bank where I have an account to get a twenty changed into one dollar bills. Teller asked if I have an account there and what my name was. I was a little taken aback. Cashing a check I understand but changing a 20 into one’s?
Oprah needs the money I am taking out, LOL
It is generally accepted that money equates to speech politically. Not sure how that all plays in here with the 1st amendment.
https://rumble.com/v3cqj3f-man-attempts-to-withdraw-cash-from-the-bank..html
Funny!
I’d withdrawal all my money from this bank and go somewhere else.
next time try this https://www.bitchute.com/video/CnvD8XjlbYZE/
Thanks for that hilarious! But also clear that this "what is it for" is a thing internationally. More brainwashing to accept our subservient slave status.
"Cisco" is blocking the link to bitchute b/c of "content funding"? What even is this?
Many years ago after withdrawing $9900 from the bank, I got a call from the FBI. The agent informed me that the bank contacted the FBI regarding my withdrawal. He was following up and inquired about it. My response to him was stating the law and how the bank just violated it by contacting them. The FBI agent asked me, How so? I responded by saying, "The law states that a financial institution shall report for any amount over $10,000. My withdrawal was $9900, so why am I talking to you?" His response was, "Well, we just follow up on the tips we get." That's when I said, "You contacting me after the bank violated the law is ironic. It's very clear about privacy. In good conscience, it indicates my next move is to immediately close my account at that bank. Thank you for your time. Is there any other questions." The FBI agent said, "No, I think that's pretty much it."
I immediately went to the bank and demanded to talk to the manager in the lobby. There were many people there at the time and I was very loud. I told him I am closing my account with the bank and needed a cashier's check for the full amount in my account. I then said in a very loud voice that one of your staff members violated the law and reported me simply because I withdrew money from my account. Many people heard me. I told him I will never do business with this bank again due to their unethical behavior. That was it. I received my cashier's check and as people looked at me leaving, I looked directly at them as I walked out.
Good. Hopefully others did the same.
This has been protocol for a long ass time.
Instead of questioning if it's their business, we need to change that to it's NOT anyone's business. Statement. Do not comply.
Whores and cocaine of course.
So, what is it for?
hmmmm?
/s
For = the cause.
That means you. Not the objects you want to pursue with it.
So: what is it for?
What is it the cause? Answer: me is the cause.
Now the question becomes: who are they working for?
Answer: the bank. = Corporation is not a who but a what.
LOL curious minds want to know!
We gave our son a check yesterday and when he went to deposit it in his bank they told him the funds would be "ready" September 12. WTF??
and... what did you tell him later? Please I want it to be "mind your own business ...."
