Marco Rubio?? Seriously?

Either Marco or Trump would have to change their state of residency since both POTUS and VP cannot be from the same state.

The Florida electors cannot vote for both Trump and Rubio, they can only vote for one.

If the election comes down to a single state, this would split the ticket.

HEY Everyone...President Trump is just "CHURNING" the waters to see what floats to the top...Rubio ESPECIALLY...PDJT KNOWS that Rubio can't be on the ticket but this is a ploy to drag others out into the open...

That is all!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Marco will have to change the dates at which his parents were naturalized as citizens. Seeing that they petitioned for citizenship in Sept 1975, they are more than 4 years too late to make him a "Natural Born Citizen".

Maybe the fedbois are already working on that since they successfully distracted everyone with McStain vs Homobama.

Ooooooor maaaaaybe this is Trumps way of informing the public EXACTLY what it means to be a Natural Born Citizen.

Extra Sauce here 👉 Natural Born Citizen Explained.

More stuff to chew on here 👉Rubio's past

I had some asshole on X/ Twitter use an answer from AI that said being born in this country makes you a natural born citizen when I told him that Vivek R. wasn't eligible to be president for the same reason. Thanks for the resources!

VP don't matter...except when they do. Identity politics is real. Many Hispanics will see his Hispanic sir name and give Trump consideration they may not have in the past.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 6 ▼
– w4terfall 6 points 2 years ago +6 / -0

None of these are good picks, but I believe Trump will pick Marco.

With rising support in the Hispanic community, it makes the most sense. Nobody hates illegals more than legal immigrants.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 9 ▼
– FractalizingIron 9 points 2 years ago +9 / -0

The pick will 100% not be political. Trum does not need anyone. What he needs, and what American needs, is someone who can continue the journey towards MAGA after Trump's term in office.

The actions report by Johnson (if they in actuality took place) are a deflection, imo, intended to keep public focus on the VP question and the Trump campaign, etc.

I'm confident Trump had his pick already many years back.

I'll never be a fan of Rubio and I don't see why. He did not support Trump as much as he should've, though the hilarity of his Wikipedia page is written to act like he basically acted as Trump's lapdog the entire way through.

I don't necessarily care about who his pick is, I have a very short list of people I absolutely do not want to see.

Tim Scott is one of them.

That's why I don't want certain people. VP selection is basically a setup for carrying on Trump's legacy in office, and I couldn't support someone like Tim Scott who ends up being stupid and wishy washy.

Ben's a great guy but nowhere near vivacious enough...or rich enough or strong enough to handle the rigors of the relentless deepstate attacks. (Deepstate isn't going away anytime soon)

Can you imagine going from the energy level of Trump to Carson?

He has the temperament and gravitas to be Surgeon General though.

I look at Ben Carson’s slow, calm demeanor as a reassurance to those who are hesitant to vote for Trump. The many, many voters who agree with Trumps message but are a little skittish on his history and persona would find an acceptable level of comfort in the team.

Having DJT and a firecracker VP candidate (ie Vivek) would be fun, but almost like tossing dad’s Ferrari keys to your two teenage boys on Saturday night.

After what gets revealed, no one will accept an R nor D politician to follow Trump

Military is the only way.

▲ 17 ▼
– Rubieroo 17 points 2 years ago +17 / -0

Flynn or Ben (Ben is honest but doesn't have the strength or military/espionage knowledge that Flynn does, so I'd pick Flynn any day of the week).

The thing with Flynn though is that he could do SO much more than VP. Downright waste of the man's vast talents. Give him charge of the agencies, and let him tear through them all and destroy them. Few could do that.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 7 ▼
– FractalizingIron 7 points 2 years ago +7 / -0

Personally, I think that DJT's team has all that covered. What is MOST critical is WHO will take over after Trump? Who can Trump pass the Standard to to carry on Maga and the future of America AFTER his next term?

This is why VP position is 1000% critical. It is also who would have to take over and step up should something unforeseen happens to DJT.

It might seem like a waste of a man's talents, but the position is absolutely critical in terms of continuity of operations.

IMO, I don't see anyone comparable to Flynn with the quality to step in to that role.

I am of the same opinion as you.

And on that note:

https://x.com/GenFlynn/status/1798328768907354528

For the preservation of our republic and the perpetuation of our political institutions, we need to understand how far back the assault on American ideals and principles occurred. This assault goes all the way to our founding days.

To not fall to the evils of our time, we must stand on the shoulders of our founders.

Our forefathers placed great faith in us and gave us great responsibilities for all of posterity.

If we don’t consider this, we’re no better than other empires throughout history that succumbed to sinister forces (external & internal).

It was Abraham Lincoln, at the ripe age of 28 stated;

How should we expect the approach of danger to our republic? By what means shall we fortify against it? Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never!

All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years.

At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher.

As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide (Lincoln Lyceum speech, 1838).

If America is to overcome this desire to kill ourselves, and usurp the lands upon which we have been granted only by the grace of God Himself, our main task then must consider the difficult road ahead. The posterity of our children, our families, our institutions, our very country, is at risk.

Therefore, we must return to our faith, we must show gratitude to our fathers and those who offered up their lives for ours, and finally we must demonstrate love for all of humanity with far greater focus here at home. Then and only then, can we faithfully and dutifully succeed at carrying out the most important task at hand, to save our republic from causing its own demise.

As Matthew describes, if we [America] are to be that light on a hill, a beacon of good on a mountain top for all to see, the strength of our faith, and our conviction and commitment to each other, cannot be hidden. We must then stand for all to see and we must uphold that light of liberty for now and all future generations.

God help us in the days, weeks and months ahead.

Note Flynn's perception or emphasis of the timeline 'days, weeks, and months' ahead. Now 'years'. Almost as if he understands that what takes place between now and the election or January next year is what is crucial, and that its this period of time that American needs to overcome and survive.

How does one test for that? I was wondering because, I think it was Louisiana that recently approved chemical castration for pedos. It made me wonder if there actually is something inherent, like a chemical imbalance, that caused people to lean that way. If that could be figured out, a lot of kids might be saved if a test could be administered before any harm was done.

Heart Rate, BD, Skin Temp, and the State of Arousal as they show children's pictures and/or Videos if my memory is correct...

Maybe people who show up as MAP shouldn't be allowed near children, and the test results can be used similarly to lie detectors as far as where results can be used.

There aren't accurate tests for that. The Pedo test has several sensors, and they show pictures and videos to the test subject. Not illegal pictures... See if the heart rate goes up, etc... Also in the case of men, if anything pops up. Saw a documentary on it a long time ago.

Without other evidence, the test alone is not evidence of a crime, but when you know you know. As a child victim, I'm all in on stopping this horrid cult.

Maybe Pedophelia was rare thousands of years ago but the Babylonians spread it. The Greeks and Romans were into it.

What we really need to do is live a simpler life where our kids are around mostly their family instead of the parade of people in their lives when no parents are around. Frum Daycare, to schools, to after-school activities.

Corporations ruined the family unit. Learning a trade in the family, or continuing in the family business. In general, the average Joe doesn't need to go to college. Corporate Jobs might require it, but maybe on-the-job training from family is a better way to learn skills.

There are some real crappy people on that list. I hope it's a tactic and they are not seriously under consideration. If he picks a crap VP, I won't vote for him. He'll still win, and I'll be glad, but I won't vote for him. Sick of all the games, frankly.
