What are you talking about? Everything I've seen has actually decreased starting 6 hours ago. Your comment is 3 hours ago. So just wondering what specifically lead you to your comment? I'm apparently missing something.
Two things are going on: (1) People are reporting problems because sites that rely on parts of Facebook's infrastructure (like identity authentication) aren't working normally (2) With Facebook's own very large DNS resolvers offline, other resolvers are getting massive traffic spikes (Cloudflare noted a 30x jump) as clients keep looking for FB/Insta/WA & failing. None of these are really "Internet outages," and they're side-effects of FB being abruptly offline, not a sign of systems independently going down simultaneously.

Also, to those new here: when things like this get posted and you get your hopes up, and then nothing happens, it can be very demoralizing. You can probably tell by all the pessimism displayed (by myself as well). We’ve been on this journey for a long time and many of us have thought that happenings were going to change things and they never did.
Let’s keep our guards up, always prepare for the worst, and not allow ourselves to detach from reality.
However, it is pretty wild that zuckerAPPS have been down globally for about 2 hours. That’s a huge hit. Let’s all say a prayer for courage and strength!

Those aren't "Internet outages," they're Website outages, or rather, reported problems with Websites. Facebook provides the identity infrastructure for tons of other sites; if their network is inaccessible, it could easily create problems for people trying to access other sites, but that's not necessarily indicative of Internet connectivity itself being down.
