What If Everything They’ve Been Telling You About Food Is… WRONG?

I think we are way beyond 'what if'.
The abuse of the people is so massive it is almost unbelievable.
The Sodium Fluoride lawsuit has got a shot at blowing this food ingredient topic wide open. The judge seems to be acting appropriate so far.
Can't wait to receive fluoride free water for once!
Mississippi
For many, it is literally unbelievable.
And yet, it's true....
Do yourselves a favor and search on the BBB&E elimination diet. AKA the Beef, Bacon, Butter & Eggs diet. I've never felt better. Although I sometimes add Bourbon or Beer as an extra B, but that is just slowing me down...
Been doing it since 12/27/23 and it’s the best thing I’ve done for myself.
Agreed. I started my Carnivore journey with lovely plates of Bacon and eggs. Amazing how those last a whole day!
Nowdays, we like pork roasts instead of bacon, because it can be salted to taste.
I've lost 20 pounds in 3 months on this diet. I'm a beast at the gym now! It took a good 4 weeks for me to get my energy back when switching over to ketosis.

Have you checked blood pressure? Mine is on the high end and I’ve just gotten off meds; would like to stay off of them. Curious if you’ve had BP issues before or after changing to this diet?
I'll check back with you, fren... Frankly, I've stopped checking. I don't need that additional stess... I've been chronically considered "high" on blood pressure, even though I was a semi-fit athlete since high-school and early college days (I've never been considered "slender") I take meds to help control it, but they don't do much...
Thanks for sharing, good read. Any kind of seed oil is horse shit don't use it.
Processed seed oils.... Keep in mind there a seed oils which are super beneficial such as black seed oil.
Yes! I've taken 1000 mg black seed oil every day for the last 2 years
Nice it might be beneficial to have break off it too. I take every day for 3 months then usually stop for a month maybe more then repeat.
Thank you!
My Dad who was into health said to use Flaxseed oil in salads. I never listened. I think I’ll change up from olive oil, which fine but studies show flax is best on taste and health benefits so…& my Dad says it’s a good thing.
Yes! I love the flavor of flax seeds as well! I used to put them in smoothies lol I'll have to start doing that again
You being mean to horses? LOL
In the Netherlands there is a book about Industrial Revolution vicitims, i.e. the poor people who survived literally on a daily wage, from industrial (Linen ratting) work. It is called Afke's Tiental (1907) and is required reading for all young teens. https://www.letterenfonds.nl/en/book/611/afkes-ten
On a similar vein there is Van Gogh's Potato-eaters https://www.vangoghmuseum.nl/en/collection/s0005v1962 although this only demonstrates how a poor family would eat from one dish and drink tea. It does not show the Canola oil that they dipped their potatos in.
The book desribes how the family ate nothing but potatoes, and could not afford butter, so 'made do' with rape-seed oil (Canola). When I read that book as a child, I learned about rape-seed oil, and how it tasted disgusting and was therefore inferior, compared tto butter. Also, my grandmother who was a well-educated lady, (born 1899) was a stickler about buying Dutch butter, and putting it on, and in, everything. And she was a good cook.
So, seed-oil was considered poverty food around the turn of the 19th to 20th Century. The Second World War changed Dutch people's attitudes because the Germans took all the butter. So, EVERYONE had tinned margarine instead, from the ration cards. My mum hated marge for that reason.
Turn the pyramid upside down, and it is closer to the truth. Humans are mostly carnivorous. However, we do have molars and can get some nutrition from leafy greens and fruits. What we were NOT designed to eat are grains. We don't have seven stomachs, or a craw to break down cellulose. We also have relatively weak enamel on our teeth, which is perfectly fine for ripping and tearing meat, or eating soft veggies and fruits. The biggest detriment to human health has been processed sugars and transfats. Simple carbs are not good for you.
Well-said/
I was in elementary school in the 80s (older than dirt's daughter, I know) and can remember them going over the pyramid maybe once or twice per year. When they talked about the top...the sweets etc., everyone in the class would whine (fourth grade ice cream obsession is real)...but when they went over the bread section? Wth? HOW many servings per day? We were stupid kids in California, and even WE got that it was b.s..
I was in elementary school in the 1960s. I know dirt himself...
I was in High School. Lord I feel OLD!!!
Me too.
Are you ex-Old Guard? Your handle is their motto.
2d battalion, 2d infantry regiment
Same motto, different regiment…I had no clue. Carry on Soldier….;)
Oh nifty...how's he doing?
Hell I graduated highschool in 1983. Thanks a lot!🤣
I ETS’d from the Army in 1983!
Lol it was my pleasure to trigger yall. But my kids are anywhere from 22 to 34(some are step kids) and they all claim I'm older than dirt at 49. I can't get a break and I'm not even 50 lol
I was born in 1960; so I went to elementary in the mid to late 60's. I am older than dirt KEK! as we didn't have the FOOD PYRAMID. We simply had what was called THE 4 FOOD GROUPS.
1961 here Mary, we've seen some shit, right?! Lol, riding bikes without helmets, drinking from garden hoses, swimming in ponds, party lines, playing OUTSIDE, moms having desserts ready for ant company that just dropped in... good times
Yes. Those were the days. Wish I could bring them back somehow. No stress, no anxiety, no depression. We didn't have much but you can't miss something you never had. I'm the 4th child in a family of eight. An even number of boys and girls. 2 brothers have passed on. Would love to throw my arms around them both. One day we will all be together again. I miss them all, every last single one of my family that have passed on.
Born in '63. Shot my first deer at 8. My first handgun experience was an Army 1911 that my uncle had. Grew up in the country. We lived in several areas that had neither running water, nor electricity. Recently, because of ice and snow, we were without power and running water for 30 hours one stretch, and several 4 or 5 hour stretches at a time. I gotta say, I really enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Born in 69, we had all the fun stuff too in Oklahoma. The more dirt you could roll around in the better.
I've always joked about my age by telling people I gave God the recipe for dirt...:D
Now that's a good one. I'll bet even God laughed on that one.
Yeah we had those too, but much like the 'I before E except after C' conversation, there seemed to be too many surprise exceptions lol
Wierd (no that isn't right) Weird! That i before e didn't work well so they weren't always right.
If the 80's knew dirt, then my generation invented dirt.
Gives new meaning to the line in "Emmaline" by Hot Chocolate: "At seventeen we were wed And worked day and night to earn our daily bread"
Not one time in my whole life have I structured what I eat based on some faggy triangle in a book.
When i did the opposite of what the so called health officials said to eat is when I finally got healthy and strong.
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about just this thing. We know the change in diet was deliberate based on greed or other motives. But how is it that the crap is allowed to be put in all the foods? We were led to believe that there are government agencies whose sole objective is restricting additives to foods and drugs but here we are with nasty chemicals in almost everything that we eat. My goal is to gain a country estate and produce as much food for my family as I can on my own land. Most of the food that we common folk have available to us is poison.
4 foot gardening or 20 other variants can help you get started without an estate. Doesn’t take much, surprisingly, to replace a lot of your store bought food.
Start small. This was journey I started years ago. I had a garden in a basement. It’s a learning process. You’d be surprised what you can do when you put your mind to it!
One of the things I am hoping for when Trump comes back is true science, including food science, medical science and climate science. Also true history.
The food pyramid is written by the Sugar and Wheat industries. Of course they want you to eat LOTS of grain (and some sugar on top), and eventually shun meat altogether - this, when meat is the most easily assimilated food around. But, this project is not about keeping you healthy. And, they even go as far as to say that this is according to the Sermon on the Mount. i.e. Give us this day our daily bread.
Of course, Jesus was talking about daily spiritual sustenance, not bread per se, and in Exodus, it is demonstrated that the Jews could not hoard bread, as it would become infested with worms, so they had to gather pollen and grain, catch birds and share their food daily. In other words, God provided for them, on a daily basis, and this is what they had to learn - to trust God, and not hoard food. Also remeber Jesus' words about birds and fishes who get their daily food by foraging:
Anyway, My family and I are Lion diet devotees (meat only), so I suggest we have a Food-Sphinx to counter this silly narrative. It is suitable for Lions. (BTW my teenage sons are over six feet tall, tanned and muscled up. So it works IMO).
Anyway, regarding the Food-Sphinx: At the very large bottom of the crouched Sphinx, we have meat, and meat-fat. in the middle, say on her back, we have extra bits - like eggs, dairy and shellfish, that some people might not agree with, so not compulsory or anthing. At the tippy top , i.e. the head, we have the occasional piece of fruit that is from one's own garden, or maybe picked from a nearby tree. NOT storebought - remember what God said about foraging.
I had to look up the word assimilated. Why use such big words?
habit. And an impossibly expensive education.
In Star Trek Next Generation, beings called the Borg would inject nanites into their victims to "Assimilate" them (take over their brain & body).
On the earth around 2021 (probably earlier), some sick people developed nanotechnology to interface with peoples brains and told them they were being injected with a vaccine.
This is how you wake people up.

I now use beef tallow, bake my own bread, no fast food (except the occasional in_n_out burger), no soda, zero fluoride due to filtered water (I know, showers use city water but I'm stuck with that), and now no plastic toothbrushes or toothpaste - gonna try those meswak? Sticks that sound better than the toothbrush toothpaste thing. All in the last four years.
Yea, we've been lied to about everything. Even Einstein physics is starting to look like a larp designed to stifle us.
Hello fellow hillbilly! I make bone broth for the dog, learning to can, and gardening in a far away land has been challenging. There is so much beauty in the old ways
I agree, if you really want to learn old ways try to find some foxfire books
if you bake own bread, gotta get the true organic flour but expensive. Most flours are gmo wheats..all monsanto shit they planting
I do organic homemade sourdough--best of all breads!! But also eat very little of it, just an occasional treat.
That's awesome! I heard sourdough is the best!
I love it but my kids aren't too fond of the sour taste yet. Fermented foods are amazing for the gut. So I do enjoy my saurkraut, sourdough and yogurt. I haven't been able to stand the taste of Kiefer or kombucha though.
Same, love fermented like sauerkraut and pickles but can't stand kiefer and kombucha, feels very acidic/burn the stomach
High fat and protein, low carbs is good for you
Bacon and eggs - splendid satisfaction
Cereal, toast, grits, waffles, syrup, fruit, orange juice - blood sugar roller coaster ride
Yep. Can't seem to convince my hubby though. He sometimes lives on oats and blueberries, refusing the eggs, meat and veggies I cook and serve. His blood sugar and blood pressure are borderline high but otherwise seems healthy.
If food labels were honest! https://greatawakening.win/p/17sOngZqvo/short-video--if-food-labels-were/c/
Keto/Carnivore for the winnnn
I'm thinking that there might be something with vaccines that are also affecting everyone's insulin resistance...
Insulin resistance and the huge rise in diabetes is partly due to the removal of iodine from the bread back in the 70's. About 85% of Americans are iodine deficient. Iodine is needed to allow insulin to work properly. The soil in the US is depleted of a lot of the rare earth minerals therefore most of our grown food is deficent in them.
Absolutely--childhood onset diabetes/type 1 is known to be connected to jabs. I suspect all types are actually related. It's autoimmune brought on by jabs, and the body begins to destroy the pancreas thus making it impossible to regulate sugar levels.
Animal fat is brain food. Now it all makes sense.
TLDR.. but whatever 3 letter agencies say, usually the opposite is true. Stay away from "FDA approved" drugs and food ingredients! They are highly toxic! Unless you want to kill yourself... which is their plan anyway.
yes & I think it even goes beyond the fake pyramid.
example; President Trump can eat Big Macs and drink Diet Coke, yet remains 'healthy'.
President Trump is also familiar with the Power of Positive Thinking.
and then there's this...
Matthew 15:11 King James Version
11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man;
but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
Also well said. But, I have heard Christians repeat that and use it as an exvuse to eat factory-made cookies. There is a limit.
for sure, I know quite a few people like that, always have an excuse.
but I guess I'm wondering about people like President Trump...the superior types. and of course George Washington, he was always defying our worldly 'laws', didn't get hurt even when shot at.
and are the 'cookies' even real? or is it our 'thought' about the cookie and affects that make it what society 'believes' it to be? 'bad' for us...
"The right wing, where I stood, was exposed to and received all the enemy's fire ... I heard the bullets whistle, and, believe me, there is something charming in the sound."
LETTER TO HIS BROTHER, JOHN A. WASHINGTON | FRIDAY, MAY 31, 1754
just noticed he uses the term 'right wing'🤔
https://www.mountvernon.org/library/digitalhistory/past-projects/quotes/article/the-right-wing-where-i-stood-was-exposed-to-and-received-all-the-enemys-fire-i-heard-the-bullets-whistle-and-believe-me-there-is-something-charming-in-the-sound/
I could have wrote this article with some minor mods. I eat several times a day. I stick to meat as much as i want when i want, fish, eggs dairy, vegtables ( no root veg, or corn), and berries by the pint drenched in heavy whipping cream. Also ZERO alcohol. The results have been nothing short of miraculous!
I've lost over 175 pounds & kept it off for two years now. Blood sugar down from 600 to 95 on average. BP down from from hypertensive crisis levels to on low side of normal. Cholesterol is normal for first time in 40 years. All my blood labs consistenly perfect now. Brain fog and inflammatory issues gone. Unfortunately, the damage of prediabetes and diabetes are still affecting me, but overall feel better than the last 29 years since i turned 30.
I forgot to mention i only cook with butter and snack on peanuts, and mixed nuts a lot. Plus I can actually salt my food again since i developed high bp @ 24.
Lard is good, better than the industrial lubricant they say is good.
AMEN. I switched years ago to butter and lard for just about everything. Definitely no seed oils. Avocado or coconut oil when necessary. And we save every ounce of bacon drippings, too.
My mother and grandmother thought Crisco was the greatest stuff ever invented. They both used it, as well as vegetable oil, in everything. Ugh. We also had to have at least 2 carbs in every meal (one always a bread, with margarine), not including dessert, and we weren't allowed to leave the table until we had finished everything on our plates. I have struggled with my weight all my life because of that crap in my formative years. I have thankfully broken through the programming in my Mom though, but it took a long time.
All my wife and I eat is meat and eggs, it cured her savere IBS, she lost weight and helped her blood pressure, yes it's a lie they feed to us!
Lots of meat (grass or pasture fed) plus Irish sea moss and a tad of fruit...
The food triangle came about the same time we started processing foods, yes? Another thing I have an issue with is the scheduled meal times, breakfast lunch and dinner. I eat when I am hungry, and for my lifetime I was never hungry when I first got up, never. It takes a couple of hours for me, and, I may not eat until 7 oclock, or, I may eat at 4pm. I may only eat one meal a day, at around 3pm, and have a piece of fruit or some cottage cheese and cukes. I do smoothies sometimes and thats all I need except for that fat craving and then I may cook up a pork chop or a small steak. Some people assume every house has a box of cereal, when my sister visited once, I saw her looking through my cupboards wanting to know where "the cereal was". I showed her the bin with whole oats in the pantry. I like my first meal to be protein, love steak for breakfast, I don't do much bacon anymore because of the MCAS, it's high in histamines, as any aged foods are. Bummer. When my baby was born, by the age of 4 months, he somehow started eating late in the morning too, so, he was nursed, then switched to a bottle about 7am, of goats milk, as I had my coffee he would have a small bottle of apple juice, and then he would eat his baby food meal (which I blended myself) at around 11 am. He would come back from school with his lunch untouched, and be starving, so he would eat as soon as he came home and then we would eat together again around 7. The child never liked carbs until he got older, would pull the meat out of a sandwich and the cheese. I remember when he was around 4. I made a porterhouse for myself, he started eating the little pieces, then wanted more and more, ended up eating my entire steak. I had to make another for myself. The body knows what it needs (if you dont mess it up with sugar), if you get cravings, look up the nutrients in that food, and that is what it is craving. Once you begin perverting the system with sugar though, it is downhill from there. ANd boxed cereal is the first introduction for many kids to a sugar addiction.
I'm old enough to remember..... when in school we were taught the food pyramid. When Johnson was Prez he had FDA change it to show need for more meat of course since he was a rancher. Ever since I realized FDA is govmint controlled.
I have a sister who was a bean pole in her youth, and has a job that she sits at a desk all day now. She's early 60s and son is an amateur bodybuilder/personal trainer. He and I both have tried to help her with diet/exercise but she just won't believe us. Actually I think she does, but she has zero will power. She makes great money and can afford whatever food she wants. Eats like absolute crap and guess what she started recently??? Oh they make a shot now that will drop weight?? She will pay whatever the cost if it means not having to stop eating whatever she wants or do anything that involves effort. I can just feel her BP go up whenever I bring up my diet and how easy it is and how much better I feel. I've learned to just focus on me and shake my head whenever she talks about good ole Ozempic. I'm just done with people. Oh, and if it wasn't obvious, she is fully jabbed. But I'm fairly certain her whole family, including her 2 grand kids are too.. It's just sad.
Well we know all the carbs in breads and cereals are not good for you and fruits and vegetables are grown with GMOS, as are grains, so I would say eat those sparingly. They used to tell us butter was bad, oleo/margarine was good. We know that was a lie. Our ancestors lived on a carnivore diet with a few nuts, berries and wild mushrooms thrown in. Logic would tell you that is the way to go. Anything that turns to carbs is bad: pasta, potatoes, breads, cereal, candy and most oils.
Well, start with who you are as a physical manifestation. Every body is different. Yet, we are programmed within the same food structure. And basically, that may be healthy for a certain average. But not as a general rule.
Some people need a daily routine and eat what is in season at the environment that is befitting their type, others eat little bites during the day of all kinds of foods. It depends on the type you are.
Check out: Human Design type and digestion.
For the type I am, I have a passive digestion, and changes in food patterns, in terms of types of food, size of servings- usually small portions alternating, times of enjoying these and the places where I am enjoying these, are a daily occurrence, and that fits me right.
Would I be pressed into a rigid sequence of say: 6 o'clock breakfast, 12 o'clock lunch and 18:00 dinner, it would kill me in the end, and would cause a lot of problems in the meantime.
It is not about adopting one system over another. It is about listening to your body, to who you are, and live according to it.
Lol "what if". No shit. Get your cholesterol folks. You need it.
Oh it is. Most definitely
