Why now? To completely demoralize us right before the election so any replacement candidate has zero chance of winning.

It's been said a lot: a head shot with an AR-15 at that range is just about impossible to screw up. Trump turning his head and only losing part of his ear is basically a miracle. There's also evidence that his security team knew the attack was coming.
If you're the Bad Guys(tm) and you know Trump is about to be killed with a damn near 100% certainty, what else can you leverage out of the event?
You could get on TV and talk about how "terribuh, absolutely terribuh" this "heinous" event was. You could call it a shocking and shattering point in American history. And you could say that we just aren't psychologically ready for something like a Presidential election, so we're going to just suspend those for 2024 and look into 2025 maybe if we're all in a better headspace.
With as much as these people project and how much they're talking about how the big worry is Trump will refuse to leave office and become a dictator, it's not hard to see where they were wanting it to go.
The answer to why now? is simple.
They figured out that he cannot be beaten.
It was clear that Biden isn't leaving, there are too many cooks in their kitchen seeking their own personal ambition, they do not operate with one voice.
Snakes always turn on one another eventually, its only a matter of when? There is no honor amongst thieves.
That is why, they saw no other way and God saw fit for them to sink ever deeper into their quicksand; he also saw fit to show the world of men that he is still there to deliver miracles.
All of this has been God's invitation for everyone to come to him.

That wouldn't demoralize it though, and based on polling during the Republican primary OTHER Republicans actually fared better than Trump against Biden. For whatever reason there is Trump Derangement Syndrome amongst Republicans and independents as well, and with Biden's exposed mental state, approval rating, the state of the economy and the border any standard conservative Republican that isn't hated ought to be able to defeat Biden.
Many independents I've talked to are aware of the uniparty and don't trust either side, Trump included. Many are for age limits for public office as they perceive both Biden and Trump to be out of touch with newer generations of voters due to age alone.
It's very ignorant to assume someone is out of touch because of age. And what revolutionary issues or positions do these people think they have that either major political party doesn't more or less represent?

It really does appear all those years ago someone had foreknowledge of an event where President Trump would raise his arm and say Fight Fight Fight!
And, I’ll say again, President Trump’s reaction upon getting up suggests he knew he had to stall that day’s Secret Service detail. As I have watched the videos a few times it just seems like he knew that he should not let them evacuate him immediately. He needed to show the world he was alive and healthy enough to push back the security detail and shout encouragement to the rally goers.
I think President Trump went out there with full knowledge it was a tremendous risk. I don’t know if he put his fate in the hands of God, or someone somehow knew he would survive. But, they sure seemed to know there would be a day where he raised his hand and shouted Fight, Fight, Fight!

Sleepydude is on the mark. This is the part of the movie where the rat is wounded and cornered. He is out of resources besides the trigger for the bombs he has placed. He knows hes defeated but he has one last play -- blow up the whole damn thing and kill as many as possible and with his own death, escaping accountability.
I have a different theory. I think they believed that if Biden steps down or is forced out, they would be without a candidate on the ballot except for one they don't want at all. They know they could never get another candidate on all the ballots and raise enough money to win.
But - if the republicans had the same issue they probably think an exception would be made since neither side had a candidate.
If they waited until after a rep VP running mate was confirmed, the running mate would inherit the campaign funds and sail to a very easy win. If they eliminated Trump before Vance's confirmation, there would be no VP candidate for that money to flow to and the reps would be broke just like the dims. Neither side could get their candidates on all of the ballots so both sides would be screwed.
One other interesting thought - What if Kamala decided to force the issue on Biden and call for the 25th? Would the other people that would have to vote for or approve it say no and keep Biden there (to keep her from being the candidate), or would they be guilted into saying yes because they would be more afraid of the citizens? Frankly I'm surprised she hasn't already tried that.

As appealing as this theory sounds, I don't believe the DS is quite tapped out yet. To set off a major financial crash, go to war with Taiwan, or create some catastrophic physical event (riots, natural disasters, attacks, etc), the costs will be MASSIVE. Perhaps [they] will save their big guns/missiles for last and turn the volume up to 11 for one last swan song. But then again, maybe...

The video of the pastor making a prophecy this spring about Trump getting shot in the ear said after that that there would be a crash worse than the depression once Trump wins the election. I could see them doing it as revenge since they've lost already. The financial system needs to come down anyway.

FWIW, the same thing has happened to Catherine, the Princess of Wales, over in the UK. Except for some very, very poorly done AI pics and videos, she was not seen for months. Author misses this regarding ballot stuffing...even a lot of solid blue states are seeing huge swings for Trump. Cadaver Joe can't hold onto his base, blacks in particular. My theory is a little bit different. They might be able to recognize when they've been beaten, but you also understand that these people operate in timelines of generations and centuries. The devil might sacrifice a couple bloodlines to make a tactical retreat and slowly work his way back in to try again. That's what I think is going on. They are going to try as hard as they possibly fucking can to take him out and do as much damage as they can on the way out, like the Russians do when you invade. They burn The crops and retreat into the shadows to hide and wait a generation or so before they start working their way back in. Everybody who remembers The hard fought lessons will be too old or dead.
