If this doesn't make the states take back their own powers, I don't know what will.

Paxton, get on it.

Gas prices affect everyone across the board. From left to middle to right. People aren’t going to give a damn about an endangered species of silverfish or whatever when the other guy is promising them that they won’t have to pay double at the pump anymore

It isn't just gas prices. Alternative energy can't run a distribution center or manufacturing or be consistent. The costs will be handed down to the consumer for everything in reading in cost.

Media is probably hiding that already happening. I remember in the '70s when that was a big problem. A metal spiral-thing you put inside the gas cap kept siphon tubes from being inserted into your tank. (but back then, it was a shortage, rather than a really high price, that was the problem; further evidence the high prices now are mostly artificial)

Our Founders rebelled against a small tax on British tea, stormed their ships, and threw the tea in the Boston harbor. And then went on to fight a revolution. So I guess we're just going to keep taking it and taking it until we're all penniless and in chains?

#1. I bet TPTB already have the technologies we need to use less oil, but their plan is to bankrupt Americans into needing .gov handouts. Secondly, maybe when an iphone doubles in price (and probably 75%of the products in the marketplace) due to many of its parts being made of oil derivatives, will the greenies wake up to their foolishness. Then again, maybe not. Should be fun watching them post to instagram by carrier pigeon

They are competing with the corn-ethanol subsidies who can milk the taxpayers for the most money, although the oil industry pays back far more than whatever subsidies they get. The ethanol industry is just pure government pork, with a gallon of ethanol requiring more than a gallon of petroleum, in terms of energy, to produce.

Costco in North Bama was under 4 too. I think the secret is possibly bulk buying? I mean compared to normal gas stations Costco has huge amounts of people filling up.

Could also be a strategy to get their customers to come get gas then go inside and buy shit.

I believe they use a higher blend of ethanol in there mix. When I have used them in the past my mileage to empty was always at least 100 miles less per tank full than normal gas stations. This makes it about the same price.Deception at its finest.

Here's the skinny on Electric Vehicles (EVs):

Starting price is about $55 thousand. The range for a brand new fully charged battery is 300 miles. After the first charge the mileage will lessen with every charge. The frequency of charging the battery along with the amount of time to charge increases as time goes on.

An Electric Vehicle (EV) will lose about 50% of their power in freezing temperatures.

Fast charging an EV ( about 30 to 50 minutes) is BAD for the battery and will shorten its life.

Charging on 120 volt takes THREE DAYS!!!

Charging on 1220 Volt takes all night.

EV manufacturers say to not leave your EV in the sun all day as heat is bad for the battery( yes they are that fragile ).

Well informed people know that the rare earth metals necessary to build EVs come at 90% from China which means China holds the battery industry by the balls.

Lithium is a comparatively rare element, although it is found in many rocks and some brines, but always in very low concentrations. The lithium extraction process uses a lot of water—approximately 500,000 gallons per metric ton of lithium. It takes between 12 and 18 months of an evaporation process, the mixture is filtered sufficiently that lithium carbonate can be extracted. Lithium prices doubled between 2016 and 2018 due to exponentially increasing demand.

Most cobalt or lithium mines are in poor nations where workers are underpaid and mistreated PLUS mining for those uses billions of gallons of water that is then contaminated and rejected in the environment (so much for pollution!).

During the Obama-Biden administration, hydraulic fracturing was accused of causing a number of environmental problems—faucets on fire, contamination of drinking water, etc.—but the administration’s own Environmental Protection Agency could not validate those accusations. Mining and processing of lithium, however, turns out to be far more environmentally harmful than what turned out to be the unfounded issues with fracking.

Lithium-ion batteries can go into a “thermal runaway” due to a production error or damage. It is an irreversible process in which the battery will ignite, resulting in the release of toxic gases, flash flames and some explosions. Due to the increase in the number of incidents involving lithium-ion batteries, insurers are increasing premiums and asking companies to take adequate security measures. In EVs, think of the vehicle accidents and the danger. Know that Lithium battery fires and accidents are on the rise and present risks. Even disposal of Lithium batteries have caused a number of fires and explosions in consumer products and at recycling plants in the U.S.

It's a big con game to end private ownership of automobiles and to force the public to take mass transportation. This will be forced on us just like the face masks and 'COVID' vaxx. Most people will not be able to afford or depend on EVs.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 6 ▼
– sidhe007 6 points 4 years ago +6 / -0

It's also a way to force people to move into the cities. No way I could live where I do with an electric car. (which I couldn't afford anyways). In the boonies. Two hour commute round trip for work. No method for charging.

And the final nail in the coffin for family farms, or any privately owned corporate farms. Who will be able to afford to 'electrify' all of the farm vehicles. What crap performance would they get? More food shortages ahead.

God forbid all of the emergency vehicles go electric. Just when you need a fire truck or ambulance....

I keep wonder about this stuff too. If Tesla energy is released and we use the wireless charging that Volvo is testing you don’t need to plug in. Just park over it. I think there is also new battery technology that is being withheld. Faster charging and more efficient safer smaller batteries.

Gasoline is old and out of date. I am pretty sure we are going away from gasoline cars and trucks in the next 5 years wether we like it or not. If you look at all the car manufacturers they are all 90 to 95% electric in the next 5 years. Hopefully, pricing will be adjusted to the new currency after the implosion. We still need oil for tires, plastics, etc.

Yes…I still get the feeling sometimes like we are getting played and the white hats and black hats vision is one of the same.

And no one seems to be talking about the Grand Solar Minimum at all either. :(

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 4 ▼
– Tewdryg 4 points 4 years ago +4 / -0

I hear you and I'm with you. Saying what you just said right now is held captive in another universe.

"Gasoline is old and out of date."

Technology is constantly being suppressed and forbidden. We ought to be 100 years ahead of where we are now. The enslavement to gasoline was by design. Other technologies have been seized under the Invention Secrecy Act, and 35 U.S.C. 181; the so-called Secrecy of Certain Inventions and Withholding of Patent. I can show you cars back in the early 1930s getting over 150 mpg and more. We won't see your visionary view of going away from gasoline cars and trucks in the next 5 years in terms of 'functional' technology and energy. The battery technology is also suppressed and censored. This is also done by design. The real purpose of the EV is to force people from owning private vehicles and making us all take mass transportation run by a TSA police state. You'll have a vaxxine passport otherwise you will not be able to participate.

Excellent summary! Too bad EVERY person in U.S. can't be made to read it! One additional bit of information would be to include how much fossil fuel is burned to create the electricity required for a single charge.

I found this on oilprice.com "An electric automobile will convert 5-10 percent of the energy in natural gas into motion. A normal vehicle will convert 20-30 percent of the energy in gasoline into motion. That's 3 or 4 times more energy recovered with an internal combustion vehicle than an electric vehicle."

I don't know if they referenced natural gas instead of petroleum to exaggerate the difference; it would be nice to relate it to petroleum rather than natural gas since gasoline is made from petroleum.

Exactly, electricity is generated from fossil fuels. Biden's retarded administration will just shift us from worrying about the price per gal if gas to the price per kilowatt hour if they get their way. None of this is about the environment. It's about pushing the masses into destitution so they are easier to control and to give up power. I want to scream that they have commandeered the term "energy independence". Is there anyone in the Biden Administration who isn't a professional liar? It's as if Psaki gets enjoyment out of astounding people with her ridiculous lies. Psaki says increased production of domestic oil won't bring oil prices down. At the same time, Biden is asking Saudi Arabia to increase production of oil. So, if increased production doesn't bring down oil prices, then why is Biden begging SA to increase production? Wait for it.... Another outlandish lie is in the making.

It is so blatantly obvious Psaki would rather argue apples never fall to the ground.

We know the installed puppet is lying and they intend to drive us to our knees and break our will. The truly stupid, are those that still believe them and refuse to openly reject them and their evil machinations.

They want you to stop driving so to catch public transport because it cost $$$$$ to drive your car, truck.

That won't work, because there are a lot of places without public transport. My hometown got rid of city buses back in the early 60s. Now most of the taxi companies are gone. Uber is just someone else's car, and you can't Uber to the beach. :)

Either he’s going to flood the production in time for midterms, or this is going to wake a LOT of the normies up. Maybe it really is true that this country will be United again. Just in our collective hatred for this fucking idiot

real energy security comes from getting away from fossil fuels

Okay, what's the point here? That doesn't resolve the now. That takes decades of preparation, on top of probably decades more research and development.

This administration truly is the enemy of the people, in all facets.
