I think this is why I have struggled so much with organized Christianity. I am literally too dumb to understand that passage and need it spelled out in kid terms. Co-opted commie education really did a number on me....
People who are not saved (non-Christians) are not filled with the Holy Spirit of God and are therefore slaves to their flesh (lusts, desires, addictions) and cannot be expected to obey all the laws of God. Therefore they cannot please God.
Christians are held to a much higher standard since we have a supernatural gift of self-control and perseverance. This however does not mean Christians become sinless or perfect in this life since we still have the same flesh all people have that tempts us to sin/disobey God.
As Christians we need to point out sin when and if we see it. As it helps us and others recognize such sins. And then to hate such sin, and fight against it. Why would a follower of Christ let his brothers and sisters go on with sins and not WANT to help them fight such sin. We have to point it out. We have to have others point ours out as well.
What happened to letting God be the judge? Calling everyone out for their sins is why a lot of people dislike Christians.
Whose judging? Calling out a sin for what it is isn’t judging. Maybe someone doesn’t know their sin is wrong in Gods eyes. It’s a Christian job to help those with this. As we sin as well, and need help ourselves. And a real Christian doesn’t care how they world sees them. We are not of the world, therefore the world will hate us, as it hated Jesus. But Jesus overcame the world.

Not all gays are effeminate flamers. There's a gay culture. It's flamboyant, excessive, and it's done specifically because they know it's irritating to others. It draws attention and it's intended to. That's the "I'm here, I'm queer, get used to it" attitude.
But talk to some gay people. They often don't like that attitude and find it unhelpful. It makes people hate them by association with it. The first time I ever heard "Alphabet people", it was from a lesbian. She was out, open, and had no shame about it at all. Her girlfriend still played the "bi" game, but was really just a freak. Regardless, both of them hated the over-the-top crap. They wouldn't go to drag shows, and rarely ever went to gay clubs, preferring regular ones with no subculture.
The non-militant ones just want to be left alone - just like we do.

Thankfully I freelance and work from home. Remote work has been a helpful way around the mandates, especially if the business I’m working with is in Chicago or elsewhere.
Interestingly, I’ve also noticed very recently, since May at least, that many job postings have dropped the vaxx requirement language, even though the shithole mayor here hasn’t lifted his illegal edict on companies. That said, some still have the requirement in place.

As in all things, Jesus' teachings were not singular events and singular points. The Old Testament was clear and precise about the stoning of adulterers, incestuous lovers, homosexuals and many other sins that are an abomination to God, however he clearly stated that is is not for man to judge any more, the sins of one were not to be punished by the many because they are rife with sin themselves. This was the New Testament, brought about by Jesus. It is the reason that the old laws were no longer in effect, the blood sacrifice, the prohibition on animals that can be eaten (Leviticus), the execution of entire tribes by the Hebrews, and many of the old ways that were no longer needed because of the new Covenant. You should not pick and choose the Old Laws to follow along with the new. You are to love your neighbor as you do yourself. This includes not punishing your neighbor for their sins. You can walk away from them and their unrepentant sins, but you are not to wage war against them or murder them.

If it were my children, I would take it very personally and I would end up in the news. By the same token, I am well aware of the evil in the world and would not allow my children to ever be in any risky situations. What an interesting post. I've not read through all of the comments - hope I can get back with some time to read through. But, for brevity, I'd like to share a few thoughts on the back of reading some of the discussion. How to frame properly this OP and the issue it addresses?
One, hate the sin and love the sinner. While I believe that same sex attraction is a distortion, a result of a spiritual corruption in human nature, that doesn't mean I should not love and value God's children who are subject to that corruption.
And, when I say corruption, I say this as a remark on the general state of humanity, not the individual. There are those who experience same-sex attraction, and who do not want it. There are those who experience it as a result of abuse in their lives. There are many causes, and it's not simply as if the individual who experiences same sex attraction is responsible for that condition.
Yes, there are those who give themselves over to that attraction, by which I mean, they indulge in it, and increase it, and behave in degenerate ways. I'm not talking about the same-sex attraction individual who lives a monogamous life and tries to be morally upstanding in their personal integrity. That doesn't make homosexual behavior right, but then, who is perfect in their behavior? So, hate (reject) the sin, but love the sinner.
My personal belief is that the problem of same-sex attraction derives ultimately from the influence of fallen angels over humanity (see scriptural reference #1 below ), and will ultimately be resolved on a collective level when humanity is restored to our original relationship with God, and thus also with the angels, after the return of Christ.
Two, the LGBTQI agenda has nothing to do with loving the sinner. It is a satanic agenda, using sexual immorality to corrupt human beings and short-circuit our capacity to unite with God. God cannot accept and interact with sinful nature, and sexual immorality lies at the very foundation of the human sin.
Sexual union between his son and daughter was the greatest blessing God wanted to bestow on his children. By being united in ecstatic, true unselfish love, God's purpose was for one son and one daughter to be bound together in that experience (Scrip. Ref #2). Not only that, when a man and woman become completely one in true love, they fully resemble the union of God's own nature, and so that's where humans were to be bonded to God, as well. Love, binding God his son and his daughter, all as the starting point for a new life, and new child of God. Sacred beyond words.
Think about it. Why is the experience of sexual union between a man and a woman in love so often expressed in the Bible in this two metaphors: One - "knowing" and two - eating a fruit?
Is it a coincidence that the fall of Adam and Eve is described as "the eating of a fruit" and the fruit in question is "the fruit of knowledge"? Not a coincidence.
The LGBTQI agenda does what every other agenda by the Devil, by the corrupt and evil elite, does: it seduces those it pretends to serve, and aid, but without any intent to truly serve, or aid. When the goal is achieved, that pretence is thrown off, and the instrument(s) of that objective are cast aside. This is the point the OP is experiencing, but many of us knew a long time ago that this would be the case.
In true satanic fashion, many compassionate people have been seduced by the LGBTQI agenda: those who could see the pain and suffering that same-sex attracted people experienced and took pity on their fellow man and woman; those who are same-sex attracted, and who try to find some reconciliation of the inner conflict or conflict with society resulting from their inner experience, and who looked to being accepted or treated as valuable (as all God's children are) as a way to resolve any difficulty or inner conflict.
All people with integrity try to find some way to resolve the issues that same-sex attraction and homosexual behavior, etc, give rise to. We might say live and let live; I'll respect your right to live how you choose as long as you respect mine. We might say, I need to declare that your behavior is sinful, regardless of how this makes you feel. And so forth.
As I stated above, personally, I believe this issue will only be resolved over time as collectively, humanity is restored to our original relationship with the Creator.
But until then, it's critical to distinguish between the experiences and lives of individuals that experience same-sex attraction on the one hand, and the political, ideological and satanic agenda that the LGBTQI actually is on the other. We can practice love and acceptance towards the former, but we cannot practice acceptance or love towards the latter. Why?
Because it is NOT a movement to help, aid or comfort those individuals. It's a movement designed in hell, pursued politically and culturally, to twist the power of culture and government to destroy the family, the true relationship between men and women, and the human capacity to connect with God through aligning with God's commandments, and it doesn;t care if it destroys anyone, including same-sex attracted or homosexuals/lesbians, even trans, along the way.
The OP doesn't quite realize this second point, and simply now thinks, they went too far. Those who know the origin and intended destination of this 'movement of the Left' know very clearly, that they were ALWAYS going to push it to it's ultimate destination.
But the more that those who live with Same-Sex Attraction and/or who practice homosexuality, realize this, and the more that the seduced "compassionate" people who were sucked in by the Lie understand this, the better off they and the rest of us will be.
Sexual immorality is the oldest sin, and the hardest to root out. But nothing can stop what is coming.

I guess it makes sense in that way. Note: I've written a bunch about the nature of "division": to wit, that there are essentially two types of division, defined by the purpose and intent.
In short: there is the division driven by evil, to divide and conquer, to undermine and weaken, and subvert. The goal is to weaken goodness and truth, in order to subvert and conquer.
Then there is the division advanced by good. This division is to cause a separation between good and evil, so that the good side can strengthen and grow, and be in a position to overcome and subjugate evil.
The former seeks to separate and cause division within the ranks of the good. The latter seeks to separate good from evil, so that the good is purified and thus strengthened in its alignment with God, from which position, evil can be subjugated.
I currently see the Great Awakening in this context. The good and evil in the world, the nations, societies, communities, families even, and individuals, are being separated. The method: truth, plus then tribulation (the pressure cooker).
So, in that context, yes, I would agree the white hats are applying more and more truth, more and more pressure, in order to hasten the separation of good from evil. As one separates more from evil, one increasingly wakes up to truth and goodness.

I have had quite a few friends that were either Gay or Lesbian. Some leaned right, some leaned left but they all had very similar sentiments to whats posted here.
I once was told "Its nobody's business with whom you choose to bed with" and loved that line. It was during a younger period when i was serial dating. Ok, maybe even serial dating is stretching the truth, i was a lothario. But ive kept that belief, its nobody's business what i do in my own home and i dont care to concern myself with others private moments. If someone respects my beliefs, i will equally respect theirs.
I still even try my best to apply this to leftists i meet in the wild, just asking them to point out one thing Biden has done well to better Americans lives. Try to show me something to be positive about. And the only responses i get are that at least hes not Trump and theres no mean tweets.

It wasn't enough. You begin pushing Pride month where corporations would virtue signal by putting Pride labels on their logos. You pushed it in every tv station across America while they had to sit there and deal with the crap for an entire month. Yet the birth of our nation, July 4, only gets one day.
Our veterans who fought for our freedom in this country only get one day. It wasn't enough. You pushed your ways in to workplaces and demanded that anyone who disagrees with Igbt needs to be silenced and fired just for voicing their opinion. All for equality.
It wasn't enough. You then forced your ways into the schools silencing and shaming any opposition. If anyone said anything, even us gay people, we were all silenced, shamed and even attacked at our workplace by getting us fired.
It wasn't enough. You pushed your way through convincing society that children under the age of 18 were transgender at the drop of the hat. They needed access to hormone blockers, and surgery! If people disagreed, they were bigots, transphobes, haters, EVIL!
It wasn't enough. We now have trans people who transitioned at an early age and are now regretting decisions that have forever mutilated their bodies and their lives destroyed. Yet when they speak up they were silenced too and called transphobes.
It wasn't enough. Now you have transgender activists calling out gay men that if they don't want to accept trans men as men that they're homophobic even though by definition being gay means attracted to the same sex, not gender. You called us homophobic, transphobic and attempted to silence us.
It wasn't enough. We now have drag queens reading to kids in libraries doing very sexual,erotic dances exposing themselves. Yet you want to call that teaching equality. If anyone spoke up against it again you call us transphobe, homophobe, and nazis.
It wasn't enough. Now we have teachers pushing LGBT ideology along with pornographic books and teaching about wild sex positions while calling it LGBT sex education. When we called it out you called us nazis, bigots, homophobes. Now we have more Pride events with full nudity and very explicit actions being done in front of children. We have sex kink being brought into the mix in front of children. We have parents bringing their kids to Pride exposing them to this stuff. When we called it out you screamed the same names, transphobe, homophobe, nazi and then some. We see what you are trying to do. You're normalizing pedophilia.
However, myself and many other sane LGBT peeps are calling you a$$holes out. We're not going to let you do it. You destroyed equality for us, so we're going to make your lives miserable. You're not going to touch kids, you're not going to keep this going. It's ending now. We will call you out, expose you all to the world. I seem to recall a King of the Hebrews that was a favorite of God. He took many, many wives even from unbelievers and worshippers of pagan gods. He even coveted the wife of one of his soldiers and sent him to the front lines of battle to die so that he could take the soldiers wife. You would have condemned him, even though God did not. See how that works? God is the judge, he decides who is punished and who is not. Speaking on behalf of God is not our place, we are to worship him and love him. When I write "coexist", I mean as in promoted in society as a normal function of humanity. It's not. Setting aside the morality, and looking only at the political aspect, these two movements are nearly identical.
They both started out as a movement to be equal in the eyes of the law, and having that recognized in society.
They essentially acheived that in a generation or two.
But then, both movements were taken over by mentally ill radicals who cared not about the original intensions, and continued to push to the point of making their movements harmful to others.
Feminists today ignore the fact that women are paid the same or more as men (when all factors are considered), have an unfair advantage in getting into universities, and an unfair advantage in job placement (think: the military that lowers standards to accomodate women), and have turned their movement to becoming hateful towards men. White men, in particular.
Gays today ignore the fact that they can have a marriage recognized by the state, and can openly have gay bars (no longer in the closet), and have turned their movement into becoming a force for pushing degeneracy in society.
Both of these movements are no longer fighting the good fight from a "we have been wronged" position. Instead, they are pushing their hateful and degenerate agenda on others, who have no interest in their agenda. They have turned a possibly legitimate political debate into a war of hatred.
That cannot last. People will only take so much abuse until they fight back. And when they fight back, the pendulum will swing the other way, and to the opposite extreme.
There will be a counter-movement to put the gays back into the closet and the women back into the kitchen.
Some will say that society is better off that way.
Whatever/whoever this OP is from and whether or not it is serious or a troll of some sort, the ideas are valid and the person is ringing the alarm at those who push their degeneracy because they hate "normal" people (because they themselves are not normal).

I'd like to suggest another way of viewing the family unit and the Father, Mother, Child pyramid you refer to. This is how I see it. (Not attempting to correct, just to share.)
First, there is the Creator, God the Father.
Next, there are the man and the woman. This is God's own nature, but divided into two distinct beings: a male and a female.
Both are an expression of God's inherent unique nature. God, as the Father, has both a masculine nature and feminine nature. (This is evidenced by the Creation in which the male DNA contains both the male chromosome (Y) and the female chromosome (X), whereas the female DNA contains only the female chromosome (XX). Thus, to be male, as the Father is, is to carry the potential for producing either male or female offspring.)
When the man and woman come together, and their two seeds come together, it represents the divided manifestation of the Father coming together. Thus, their union symbolizes the unity of God's nature, and a new life is created.
The child, who has chromosomes (and nature) from both the father and the mother, is a substantial creation that embodies that original unity of God.
Thus, every family is inherently a manifestation of God's nature of which God is a part: You have four elements here: God, the Father (the origin), the father and the mother (parents) and the child (or children).
So it's not really a pyramid, but is in fact a diamond shaped structure: One single point or origin: God; then two distinct points where God's nature is manifest - the husband and wife; then the reunion of those two distinct points in a new united point: the child.
I use this framework and taught it to my children, because I think all people need to learn to come to see that in ANY family, God is inherently there. Even with a child born in sin, God's presence cannot be shut out.
The family is thus the institution where God is directly present in human life, and is the foundation of all of God's purpose for humanity.
This is why the attack on the family is not just an attack on the family. It is an attack on the fundamental unit by which God manifests his nature and his love into human society. IMO.

I'm not a doctor, but I am fairly sure that sins are not contagious. At least not to people without a predisposition to engage in those sins. Pretty much like everything else. If you are afraid of catching the gay, you might be struggling with something. Do not judge, lest you be judged. And it is always a genuine pleasure meeting someone who is without sin that gets to cast the first stone.

I don't jugde because it is not my place to do so. That is between them and God. If he chooses to punish them, that is his and his alone to decide.
