Considering this judge should have ended the trial well before now and directed a verdict, considering this judge did nothing substantial regarding the intimidation of jurors, considering the only living individual shot by Kyle is for whatever reason not charged with at least aggravated assault at most attempted murder, I don't buy a fucking lick of it.
These prosecutors should be immediately disbarred, and then charged right after.
Regardless of verdict this is the justice system pissing in the face of everyone one of us and even more so poor Kyle. Bless that kid.

The Judge in this case seems to be playing an exposure role. I would not be surprised if he's letting this happen so the Prosecutors hang themselves...

I truly believe the only reason the judge hasn't stopped it is he wants it to play out and he wants to see what the jury does say. If they convict Kyle then I think this judge might actually override them. I think the judges end goal is for there to be prejudice given to whatever verdict is assigned so they can't retry Kyle and make his life even more hell. In other words he's allowing the short term pain to play out now for a few weeks to remove all threats in the future.
It just looks better if he allows the prosecution to put up their very best case. Then no one can say he made up his mind too quickly etc etc. I think its just a bonus he gets to expose the prosecutors. Or something close to this... the judge definitely seems to see through the BS.
I looked up that judges history, he has never once overridden a jury in his entire career.

Not a likely motive when he sends the jury out beyond hearing when he rakes the prosecution over the coals. I agree with Darwyn. He is letting the prosecution make its whole case so there will be little basis for an appeal of a directed acquittal.

That is NOT allowed in a US court. 5th Amendment is a RIGHT, not something to be implied as any sort of guilt.
Should be immediate mistrial WITH PREJUDICE (meaning they can't prosecute again), and prosecutor should be charged with felony violation of rights.

Judges are just referees, he can't direct the case just preside over it. For him to put himself into the parties place would be practicing law from the bench. Same issue with Sullivan playing prosecutor over Flynn's trial, when he was the presiding Judge. The defense has to make the plays and the Judge makes decisions based on Court Procedure and Law. I love all you Anons but the lack of understanding surrounding our own God Given structures for civil and criminal Justice pains me, I blame our overlords who wish to rule us instead of educate us.
Bottom line: The defense has to request to Judge to direct the case some way or the other, then things play out. The defense likely (IMHO) isn't pushing the issues other than to call them out, because they simply want to get a not guilty verdict instead of dragging Kyle through this shit any longer with motions and bullshit side quests. Plus the State Prosecutors are only making asses out of themselves to the jury.

Right, but taking something "under advisement" is the opposite of making decisions. The defense attorney should file for hearing for a Motion to Dismiss or whatever they think the motion should be. Not doing so is malpractice.
Defense attorney says, "The next time it happens ..." and that means he is a pussy. He is not putting up the best defense possible.

A few more hours to resolve the issue of reversible error and violation of the defendant's constitutional rights is worth a couple hours for a hearing on this specific issue, which also better preserves his rights on appeal, if necessary.

Carry everywhere you can legally is a good rule of thumb, I carry maybe 80% of the time...My wife, she carries all of the time. I buy her a box of ammo, and a box of chocolates for Valentines day. She is always happy =)
To be honest, I worry about my wife leaving the house without her firearm more than myself. She is itty bitty tiny girl, mayyybe 115lbs...I don't ask. So i buy her any handgun I can afford. She works at a very busy place and is the only one that carries, I just like to make sure she is safe when I am not there. and it is her God given right to be able to defend herself.
