And as I understand it, from a book I read, General Washington thought a lot about that crossing because up until he did it battles were never fought on holidays or around them. He figured correctly and surprised the British just as planned.

No sauce, but didn't Washington claim to have seen an "entity" which stressed to him the importance of that entire Winter's timeline of events?

Swear I read that years ago, on the road or I'd attempt to look it up...

There is this...this is regarding the French and Indian War. Incredible factual-story nonetheless.

Fifteen years later, Washington and Dr. Craik, a personal physician and close friend, were traveling through those same woods near the Ohio river and Great Kanawha river. They were met by an old Indian chief who addressed Washington through an interpreter with the following story:

“I am a chief and ruler over my tribes. My influence extends to the waters of the great lakes and to the far blue mountains. I have traveled a long and weary path that I might see the young warrior of the great battle. It was on the day when the white man’s blood mixed with the streams of our forests that I first beheld this Chief. I called to my young men and said, mark yon tall and daring warrior? He is not of the red-coat tribe – he hath an Indian’s wisdom, and his warriors fight as we do – himself alone exposed. Quick, let your aim be certain, and he dies. Our rifles were leveled, rifles which, but for you, knew not how to miss – `twas all in vain, a power mightier far than we, shielded you.” One warrior declared: “I had seventeen fair fires at him with my rifle and after all could not bring him to the ground! Seeing you were under the special guardianship of the Great Spirit, we immediately ceased to fire at you.”

Then his prophecy: “I am old and soon shall be gathered to the great council fire of my fathers in the land of shades, but ere I go, there is something bids me speak in the voice of prophecy: Listen! The Great Spirit protects that man and guides his destinies – he will become the chief of nations, and a people yet unborn will hail him as the founder of a mighty empire. I am come to pay homage to the man who is the particular favorite of Heaven, and who can never die in battle” (“The man who could not be killed,” George Washington Parke Curtis, Recollections and Private Memoirs of Washington, Philadelphia, J.W. Bradley, 1859).

permalink parent save report block reply

– Aspie 1 point 68 days ago +1 / -0

The "average" included many thousands of babies who died young, as well as children who died of childhood diseases and other causes. There were a good number of people who lived a long time. My immigrant ancestor was born over 250 years ago. He was 91 when he died. His son was almost 80, the next generation was about 90, the next generation was almost 80, and the next generation was 90. Other lines of my ancestry have similar numbers for a large part of them. I fully expect to live well past 100.

Of course, as far as I know, most of my ancestors were Christians.

a Buddhist "thunderbolt" and "diamond" ritual object,

https://templearchitecture.blogspot.com/2006/11/sacred-object-thunderbolt-diamond.html

Supreme indestructibility of knowledge: Dorje can also refer to a small sceptre held in the right hand by Tibetan lamas during religious ceremonies. The vajra destroys all kinds of ignorance, and itself is indestructible. In tantric rituals the Vajra symbolizes the male principle which represents method in the right hand and the Bell symbolizes the female principle, which is held in the left. Their interaction leads to enlightenment. Also the Dorje or Vajra represents the "Upaya" or method Tibetans name Vajra as "Dorje". Made to be worn as a pendant, it reminds the wearer, and the viewer, of the supreme indestructibility of knowledge. In Buddhism the vajra is the symbol of Vajrayana, one of the three major branches of Buddhism. Vajrayana is translated as "Thunderbolt Way" or "Diamond Way" and can imply the thunderbolt experience of Buddhist enlightenment or bodhi and also implies indestructibility, just as diamonds are harder than other gemstones.

It's just kinda a good starting point to assume anyone who has any monetary debt or any amount of funds in a savings or even a permanent house/property is probably not gonna make it into heaven without a proper sacrifice.

Tibetan thunderbolt, Vajra / Dorje

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Thunderbolt_%28Vajra;_Tibetan-_Dorje%29_LACMA_M.81.4.jpg

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vajra

"The vajra is the weapon of Indra, the Vedic king of the devas and heaven. It is used symbolically by the dharmic traditions of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism, often to represent firmness of spirit and spiritual power.

According to Hinduism, the vajra is considered one of the most powerful weapons in the universe.[3] The use of the vajra as a symbolic and ritual tool spread from Hinduism to other religions in India and other parts of Asia."

Nice sauce thanks, I noticed in the interview with Babylon Bee Elon seems to not really understand religion because of how he was raised in the catholic church which has essentially been decimated underneath itself and for good reason. One side of my family is like this. They were all catholic and now they claim God but think now that there is no church good enough because of what men are capable of. Sad, if only they would read the bible they would see the one Church (which the catholic church told them they don't need)

So with that aside...possibly.... Thunderbolt = Storm??

Given that modern Christianity was given to us by the Cabal, I'm ok with that. Christ taught a different doctrine than Paul. But Paul set Christ up as an idol to worship and beg for salvation, rather than an example to follow. I would expect much of the ancient religion that Christ either founded or tried to restore would be found in religions around the world and not just Catholic offshoots.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– BumpOnALog 1 point 68 days ago +1 / -0

This is quite a claim. Do you have any evidence?

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ -1 ▼
– weholdthesetruths -1 points 68 days ago +1 / -2

Evidence of which part?

Modern Christianity tacitly admits, whether they like it or not, that the Christianity they received via the Catholic Church was wholly corrupt (else why break away and reform it?), and yet they accept without question that the collection of books (La Biblia or "Bible") they received from that corrupt institution was somehow devoid of corruption and accept every word of it as authoritative.

I don't.

In fact, when I read the New Testament, I see two wholly different gospels: that of Christ, who said to his disciples "Come, and follow me" and that of Saul/Paul, the supposed Christian convert who saw Jesus in a Desert on the road to Damascus (somewhere Jesus said not to believe he would be found after his ascension) who was a former Pharisee, whom Jesus referred to as "children of the Devil", "whited sepulchers, filled with dead men's bones" and "of the synagogue of Satan", which church was born in Babylon (see Habakkuk chapters 1 and 2), and engaged in human sacrifice and feasting on children (which they still do today).

Albeit the gospel of Christ appears to have been strategically altered in numerous ways to align better with the false idolatrous gospel of Saul/Paul, where we are told not to come FOLLOW Christ and do his works (for how could we, seeing as we are fallen, born of dirty sex and lust, and thus, our works are nothing but "dirty rags", unlike Jesus, born of a virgin, going throughout life without making any mistakes, etc?) but instead, to simply call upon Christ to save us, as lazy idolatrous Israel of old had done so many times before with idols of every kind.

Christ sought continually to teach his apostles and other disciples to expand their thinking, and to embrace the supernatural capabilities they had as Sons of God via faith. Modern Christians, as if reading from the Pharisees script, like to call those of us who think of ourselves as Sons of God, trying to emulate Christ and recreate his works, as heretics and blasphemers. Modern Christians are as jealous of the reputation of the Christ they worship, but do not follow, as the Pharisees were of Abraham and Moses, who they also claimed to worship, but did not follow.

The Bible contains many truths, but to treat it as the authority on Truth is to miss the message of it completely. The Pharisees too, worshipped their scripture as a God. And Christ chastised them for it. The Bible is full of stories of men who spoke directly with God, and gained their power through the realization of, and faith in the fact, that they were His Children, and they went about working mighty miracles by faith. Nowhere in that book do you find the stories of scribes and bookworms working miracles. Nowhere in there do you find that the scriptures were the authority, but living men speaking to a living God. Christ commanded all to search the scriptures, and if you do, that is what you will find. But once you find it, if you lack the faith to seek out God yourself, and bind yourself to the obviously corrupted scriptures with dogmatic thinking, what good have you done yourself? Are you healing the sick? Are you working miracles? Or is your religion merely academic--something to argue about?

You will also find that it is not hard for evil men to take those scriptures and twist them, as Saul/Paul, and later the Catholic Church, most certainly did.

God is God of all the earth. I expect that anyone in any religion that encourages quiet contemplation should be able to happen upon truth directly from the source. So I do not toss aside the words of those of other faiths as easily as some do on this board.

– BumpOnALog 1 point 68 days ago +1 / -0

It's really strange to me that you say the Catholic Church corrupted the message of scripture that was to follow Christ through example and works which allow us to do miracles through Faith. It's the Catholic Church that promotes the stories of the Saints, and part of being recognized as a Saint is having miracles attributed to your name. There are hundreds of Catholic Saints with well documented miraculous events, and these Saints lived the ultimate life of Christ-like example. The Catholic Church also does not hold scripture as the ultimate authority, that is a very Protestant idea called Sola Scriptura. It is also the Catholic Church that says faith without works is dead, while protestants tend to think all one needs is faith. I think you have a blind spot to what the Catholic Church actually teaches, and instead have an issue with more American style Pentecostal Protestantism.

I have plenty of problems with both. Your “church” gave us the Dark Ages. Your Pope was a despot of the highest order who separated men from God and sold forgiveness of sins. Of course there were good Catholics here and there. All the reformers were originally Catholic. Your church brought the world despotism and darkness. Your priests were your despot’s spies. It now openly worships death, destruction, and the devil himself. Don’t let me get started.

I don't believe that revolver is real in case your initial reaction was the same as mine (Woah, that's cool. Where can I get one?). There's no trigger inside the trigger guard. it appears to be a prop gun.

That being said, fascinating photo on his night stand for all the obvious reasons.

It is from a video game called deus ex (a trippy game about the deep state)

It is called the .357 Dimond Back

Ironically the other ceremonial weapon, the Vajra, symbolizes a Dimond and a thunderbolt

I wonder if that’s supposed to be multiple days of soda or if the implication is he couldn’t sleep despite being caffeine free 🤔 Because you know… “those who know can’t sleep”

Didn’t Trump also drink Diet Coke? It’s a common habit, so I wouldn’t harp on it… But if we keep seeing it I’d begin to wonder if there’s a hint to look for

Did he really drink 4 cans of diet coke? He doesn't need anybody to break-in and shoot him, coke itself will take care of that job.

What's with the hexagonal-shaped pistol barrel? (assuming the barrel is hexagonal shaped like what the revolver slots look like)(sorry I don't know the proper firearm terms :) )
