The Entire US Navy Submarine Fleet Is On Stand-Down. Here’s Why. 👀 EYES ON! 👀

The US Navy ordered a safety stand-down for the entire submarine force on Wednesday in response to the results of an investigation into an incident last month in the South China Sea.

Eyes On Anons. If this is true, and the entire Pacific fleet is on Stand-Down, watch for China to make its move on Taiwan.

Shouldn't that be a "Float-Up" for a submarine?

It seems just a bit odd they would advertise this.

Is this stand down a feint by the white hats so that China makes a move?

permalink parent save report block reply

Not by the White Hats that I know of. They would not want war and Taiwan to fall.

They would not want many millions of people to get vaxed either.

Who knows what the alternative would be.

Don't forget, Xi may well himself be a white hat and he may need to catch the CCP in an act.

I don't know. I'm going with my spidey sense.

Yeah I call total bullshit. There is no way the entire Sub fleet will be announced as on Stand-Down so they can all learn how to not run into stationary objects in the ocean.. lol if anyone believes this I have some ocean front property in Kentucky to sell you.

  1. We are at war… the TV news just hasn’t told people.

  2. Is the fleet actually on stand-down, or just advertising that notion? That’s a legit question, because I have no way of knowing the truth… but I don’t for a second blindly accept what is published in the news.

Think about it…

China declares themselves unauthorized dictator and deflacto owner of the South China Sea

Ghizlaine Maxwell’s trial starts and she’s a submarine “expert” going around the world selling “the sea” to the highest bidder so they can operate under “maritime laws” or laws where depths of sea do not have jurisdictional laws of any kind (EVERYTHING IS “LEGAL)

Navigational systems were previously tampered with providing cover for black ops underwater human trafficking, experimentation, as well as any other “special tastes” the elite want to indulge in

Underwater faggotry, incompetance, and espionage conducted throughout our military fleet

THE SUBMARINE CRASHED INTO AN “UNDERWATER MOUNTAIN STRUCTURE” that wasn’t natural NOR supposed to be there

What did they find?

How did they find it?

Who controlled the navigational path into the “structure?”

Who has been creating artificial man made island in the South China Sea?

Why?

Watch the water…

Can we discuss? 🤷🏽‍♀️👌🏽👊🏽

Perhaps the US sub was rammed by another sub. If the subversive actions in the US that created weakened steel on US subs built, and our enemies knew this & reinforced their sub for ramming…there would be a potential incident of catastrophic proportions. And the purposeful ramming by an enemy sub has plausible deniability as an accident. Reason enough to retest the fleet.

Why a Stand-Down?

On October 2, the powerful Seawolf-class nuclear-powered attack submarine USS Connecticut collided with an object, the Navy said in a statement five days after the incident as the damaged $3 billion submarine limped into port in Guam.

The Navy provided only limited information, revealing only that the submarine was stable, there were no life-threatening injuries, and that the nuclear systems on board were not affected. The sea service did not say where the incident occurred, but officials revealed it happened in the South China Sea.

In early November, the Navy finished its initial investigation into the accident, concluding that the submarine ran into an uncharted seamount. That report has not been publicly released, and the causes that led to the collision and the crew’s responses afterwards remain unknown.

Days later, Vice Adm. Karl Thomas, the commander of US 7th Fleet, decided to fire the command leadership of the Connecticut.

The commanding officer, Cmdr. Cameron Aljilani, as well as Lt. Cmdr. Patrick Cashin, the executive officer, and Master Chief Sonar Technician Cory Rogers, the chief of boat, were all relieved due to loss of confidence.

“The Seawolf-class fast-attack submarine USS Connecticut (SSN-22) struck an object while submerged on the afternoon of Oct. 2, while operating in international waters in the Indo-Pacific region. The safety of the crew remains the Navy’s top priority. There are no life-threatening injuries,” Capt. Bill Clinton told USNI News. “The submarine remains in a safe and stable condition. USS Connecticut’s nuclear propulsion plant and spaces were not affected and remain fully operational. The extent of damage to the remainder of the submarine is being assessed. The U.S. Navy has not requested assistance. The incident will be investigated.”

Note the Captain is named Bill Clinton

In subsequent articles in other media, Bill Clinton's name was removed. There was an article that ran I think in Fortune by the guy who was the columnist who writes about military affairs. He referred to the captain as just the captain. But you could easily look up and see the commander was Alijani. There is no way someone who writes on military affairs would not know that (or it was edited out by someone else).

You know how the symbolism guy writes about nuclear comms? Explosive Info? I wonder if the firing of the crew - now named in the thread article - plays into this?

ya, I think I mentioned that in other comments, look that up. this question was to point out that these guys commenting on this were making it unclear. is that done purposely or for lack of trying? the captain of a ship does not necessarily have to hold the RANK of captain in the navy. maybe by labeling this bill clinton as a spokesperson would eliminate any confusion. maybe.

the top ranking person in command of a vessel is known as the captain of a ship, regardless of actual rank. not that they attain the naval rank of captain. submarine captains usually hold the naval rank of commander. not sure if it is you that needs this info or others here, just wanted to state it.

"Uncharted Seamount"? How did sonar not detect an underwater mountain?

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 27 ▼
– Boozy_McFuckFace 27 points 4 years ago +27 / -0

Because 99% of the time active sonar is not in use. Only passive. Any transmissions are a counter detection threat. So you only go active in very specific instances. It’s rare.

The fact that they did fire the sonar chief, for something that would usually be a navigation problem, makes me believe there is more to the story.

Not just one guy, I've done limited work for the military during my working years and one guy can't just be bad at his job. I was doing work for the original star wars program during the Reagan years and the Navy had people up my ass triple checking things. I was building proto-type printed circuit boards used for targeting things through the atmosphere, not subs. It would need to be a much broader conspiracy I would think.

After reviewing the investigation, Thomas determined that “sound judgement, prudent decision-making and adherence to required procedures in navigation planning, watch team execution and risk management could have prevented the incident.”

As a further step to make sure this sort of thing does not happen again, Vice Adm. William Houston, commander of Naval Submarine Forces, ordered a force-wide safety stand-down, Breaking Defense first reported Wednesday.

“We will have that and we will go ahead and learn our lessons,” he said at a naval event, according to USNI News. “The safety investigation board is not complete yet, but we know enough right now.”

“We have very rigorous navigation safety procedures and they fell short of what our standard was,” the admiral said.

Naval Submarine Forces spokesman Cmdr. Paul Macapagal told Insider that “the Submarine Force is conducting Force-wide navigational safety training as a result of the incident onboard the Seawolf-class fast-attack submarine USS Connecticut (SSN 22),”

He said that “submarine crews will be reviewing the lessons learned from USS Connecticut and governing doctrine to reinforce sound navigation practices. Submarine crews will review required procedures in navigation planning, operations, risk management, and best practices as part of this training.”

Navy leadership described this training as a stand-down and that the submarine force continues to operate and deploy.

I would not put it past chyna to place navigational hazards, then bait a USN to chase a Chicom sub, the sub doing a crazy Ivan, & voila, the US sub hits the hazard. But, how does a 3Bn sub not have something passive to assist it not walking into an open door at night?

Passive sonar. That's why the Chief Sonarman was fired.

Just an old grunt here, but I find it hard to believe the navy would announce to the world that our subs are down.

Y'all have figured out they aren't talking about real submarines, right?

So.... We suck at being sailors due to spending way to much time on Diversity, Inclusion and Equity training. The solution is more diversity to make up for that racist underwater phallic object.

"Navy leadership described this training as a stand-down and that the submarine force continues to operate and deploy."

confusing comment.

I think it is time for the USN to drag at about 12mi some side looking radar through the territory in/around the "Chicom" islands there.

If the sonarmen did their job, they used the sound from the collision to chart a pretty wide area.

THAT is a scary thing...

Carriers are vulnerable... but subs are relatively safe...

Not completely, but compared to a carrier.

In early November, the Navy finished its initial investigation into the accident, concluding that the submarine ran into an uncharted seamount.
