Homeschooling isn't that hard, although obviously you need someone available to do it. Takes about 3 hrs a day for an average middle schooler (less for younger ages), and highschoolers have a lot more self-sufficiency. There's tons of resources to help.
It definitely does NOT take anywhere near a 7-hour typical school day. Both my kids are flourishing in college now, on scholarships.

Just make sure what other home schooled groups you might be linking your kids up to in those communities. It turns out, there's a high population of LGBTQ kids in home school communities who are there out of fear of being picked on, singled out, etc... my friend is finding this out the hard way. He has 3 kids being home schooled and a very large number of kids his kids interact with are LGBTQ. He said between his 3 kids, they know a total of 11 such kids they are friends with.

Bisexual means attracted to both men and women to some degree. Pansexual would include being attracted to not just men and women, but also non-binary people and different varieties of trans people. Just as heterosexual teen or other relationships don't require sex, neither does pansexual relationships. It's about who you're attracted to, and pansexuality often means you're still only involved with a single person at a time, not just having sex with lots of people at once. It's just that you're attracted to basically any person of any gender identity.

The old stories had many episodes about selfishness, working hard vs. slacking, not giving up, things like that which are "moral" in a very universal way without bothering any religion at all. And when Carl Barks was drawing them, the Uncle Scrooge stories usually had some history and/or geography written in a more literary narrative than today. I'm glad I'm so old I remember all these things before fun became a platform for a different agenda.

Usually the history/geography pertains to an adventure setting, one that sticks in my mind was the typical "Scrooge goes treasure hunting" with Donald and the nephews, looking for Viking treasure. This featured Gladstone Gander, a later character who is the ultimate selfish jerk. Gladstone gets the gold, leaving the others to freeze on a wrecked dragonship. As things look bad for them, Donald discovers thousand-year old steaks frozen in the hold and something more precious than gold, a Viking map. It ends with them roasting steaks and singing "Gladstone's luck/Ain't worth a shuck./It takes a duck/ To have good luck." Plenty of room to discover a little about history and karma.
