I don't really. But financial people are saying bad things will be happening to the debt based banking system very soon and we'd be lucky if we last until January with the way it is. I think wisdom says to start preparing for other ways to conduct expenses, and I'm just trying to elicit some ideas. Thanks anyway.
If you can swing it, buy some silver. Mearly as a hedge; a storage of money that is not based on the debt based fiat money. Even if it sits in a safe in your basement for the next 20 years you won't lose your shirt.
My thinking is when we transition back to gold backed currency the value of silver will increase substantially as today it is highly manipulated.
That’s something I learned recently, coins have coin value + metal. But metal alone is metal value. I think it’s best to hold metal chips (silver gold) non coined just weigh stamped because in shtf you’re not going to get collector value when bartering. Like ur $50 gold coin is only worth example 35 on the scale so I’d rather have gold and silver cards to barter
Dad forgot to tell you, I'm your brother from another mother and you're supposed to send me half. I'm a nice guy though, so send me one gold coin and we'll call it even, Brother.
I started buying silver about 10 years ago, just for today's events/scenario. That isn't anything prophetic, simply that I've been expecting a financial collapse for a while.
My wife and I were recently talking about our finances and I expressed to her that I felt like we needed to buy a bit more; 300 more ounces would put my mind at ease. I fully expected some pretty hard push back but to my surprise she agreed and said she trusted my judgment on the matter.
Wifeanon isn't totally redpilled but at least she doesn't think I'm nuts. She still watches MSM news but it does my heart good when they spout some obvious lie and I hear her mutter "bullshit".
I'm not going to come out the other side of all this crap wealthy, but it's incumbent upon me to provide for and care for my family. Hopefully I'll be in a good position to do just that.
My wife is mostly based, and detests MSM. What is funny though, is that she is actually more paranoid than me when it comes to "the government is watching" issue.
cash is still good tho (funds in bank). you'll need to use a bulk of it to pay your mortgage and other necessary finances so even if hyper inflation happens you'll still be able to pay those bills with the same dilluted dollars.
i would just make sure to split up to two diff banks at least.
Local banks are probably a better bet than the big national ones. I personally would prefer to be banking with someone that lives in my community vs a stuffed shirt handing down rules from several states away
I have to agree because even as Q said Gold will end the Fed that means Gold and Silver will be unleashed to the moon but this fear porn as some people call regarding that our cash will be stolen and if that is true we as a population on this earth are totally screwed.
Let's say and I truly mean I hope your gold and silver will reap you a fortune but every one else is broke. Now what?
Yeah, yeah, yeah… I expected you. Go have fun with your man-made religion. The rosary is prayed by both Catholics & Orthodox Christians. The rosary is older than your man-made pseudo-religion.
Wrong again, Bucko. Just because your 500 year old (if even that old) man-made religion doesn’t practice it, doesn’t dispute the fact the early Christians used them.
Pebbles and beads were used by Christians to track how many prayers had been said as far back as the 3rd Century.
The Hail Mary began to be prayed on these sets of beads in the 10th and 11th Centuries. Soon, they added an Our Father after every ten Hail Marys, to break up the monotony. The Cistercians and Carthusians around this time created a “Marian Psalter” that consisted of reciting the Hail Mary 150 times, but there were no mysteries attached to them.
Here we see the rosary taking shape: 150 Hail Marys divided into “decades,” groups of ten, separated by the Our Father.
Then, St. Dominic arrived on the scene. In 1208, he went into a forest to pray for guidance in his fight against the Albigensian heresy. Mary appeared and spoke to him. She said “Wonder not that until now you [St. Dominic] have obtained so little fruit by your labors; … When God willed to renew the face of the earth, He began by sending down on it the fertilizing rain of the Angelic Salutation. Therefore, preach my Psalter.”
St. Dominic was familiar with the Marian Psalter, of using beads to pray 150 Hail Marys.
I wasn't agreeing with either one of you, just stating that religion seems to only cause division among people. Like maybe it was designed that way and for control. Why does everyone have to voice their opinions especially when they know they will get pushback on it?
The facts are self evident. ¯_(ツ)_/¯>
Except how do know they are facts? I mean, all you can do is read history books. How do you know for a FACT that those history books have not been manipulated? There's is so much of this planet's history that has been hidden, and or corrupted we truly don't really know for a fact what is true and what isn't.
Ammo, ammo, and more ammo. With it you can obtain most anything and with it you can protect anything you already have. As for a hedge, folks that bought ammo 20 years ago, 15, 10, 5 have seen gains of 50-100% in value/price of these assets outpacing even inflation. In a crisis situation everything devolves into the animal kingdom and survival of the fittest/strongest - in this case the best armed. Gold and silver will only get you robbed and killed by individuals who are disillusioned by past conventional wisdom that says these minerals still have some value in this new reality…..they won’t. Food, water, safe shelter, and means of protection will be the only things that matter under the circumstances you are preparing for. Lead and brass will be your most precious metals.
This. Plus the white hats would not allow everyone to go 100% broke who didn't have gold/silver. There would be massive riots and chaos.
Think about it, if gold and silver were the only thing people could use to purchase/barter.... in a scenario where everyone is panicking and have nothing to purchase food.... while only a few people who have silver/gold are purchasing food, those people would be a prime target. Anyone able to buy things would be in extreme danger in this scenario.
Also in this scenario, who the hell would want gold/silver in exchange for food? Food will be the most important commodity, then ammo.
Converr your money to useful things. Take useless item (money) purchase useful items. I.e. food, transport, fuel, firearms and ammo, gear for self reliance, etc. Gold, silver store the useless in the useful.
HOLD as MUCH CASH as you can!!! IF you can get precious metals for a decent price---do it!!!
Either way the end is coming and it will NOT be for everybody...Don't forget, the BANKING system we have now NEEDS to be taken down in a coherent fashion due to the debt that has accumulated...
Keystone Meats is really good, has 5 year Best By dates and comes in 28 oz and 14.5 oz cans. Beef, Pork, chicken, turkey and ground beef all fully cooked.
I'm on a fixed income and buy a couple of cans each week, got a pretty good stash built up.
Canning your own is much cheaper, but the initial investment of the canner and supplies is expensive. If you want to put up a lot of meat (and other foods), I would suggest learning to can.
I canned 15 pints of chicken breasts yesterday to add to my supplies. I have canned chicken breasts, beef chunks (from a cut you would roast), hamburger, meatloaf, brisket chunks (my absolute favorite!!), pork shoulder, pork breakfast sausage, deer. I have hundreds of jars of shelf stable meat, that I have done myself, I know what's in them (meat and sometimes salt for most).
It is great when you can find a sale on meat and can what you get. I usually just go to Sam's and buy meat by the case and spend a day canning, cases are usually around 60-80 lbs. A pint jar holds roughly 1 lb of meat and a quart jar holds 2 lbs.
There are some great channels on YouTube for canning if anyone is interested.
I am interested! I’m getting into canning, but stalled because of a remodel. My biggest hindrance after that is that most of the recipes call for sugar. We don’t eat sugar... so that takes out at least 80% of recipes unless I go rogue.
Don’t add sugar. I can everything and have never added sugar except my spaghetti sauce and use some molasses but it could be left out or use natural one like maple syrup.
All meat is amazing but hamburger. It tastes like what canned dog food smells like. If you want to do hamburger I’d first make a burger. Fry slightly both sides. Just so it holds its shape. Layer in a jar with sliced onions and can. It makes it tolerable and of starving would be fine.
Chicken on the bone is probably the best. Looks like a science experiment in a jar and is a tad nasty removing but literally the best chicken you will ever eat. Just stuff a jar. Add a bit of salt. Don’t add any liquid and can. The chicken creates its own broth. So yummy.
And go rogue. Use the longest times for your ingredients so if you make a stew use meat times. And so on. Play around with recipes. Herbs can change dramatically in long canning times.
Ask around for canning equipment and jars. So many older ladies love giving away their items when they know it will be used. Also reuse jars and lids from the stores. The new ball lids are so flimsy and literally buckle it’s best to reuse anyway. Join a canning group and check out a couple books from the library. And enjoy!
Thank you!!! I love hearing from an experienced canner!!
There is a farmer’s market in my town, but only on Tuesdays. I think I’m going to start taking the time to go so I can get the produce I want to can.
I am keeping my eye on ads for supplies :) will be stocking up when remodel is done.
My MIL canned... but I didn’t know this until after she died. She was an amazing woman I called friend more than MIL. So much knowledge I could have gotten from her.
I bought a half cow and have been canning my meat. It's in the freezer and I defrost enough at a time to can it. Meat is the easiest to can imo. And lots of bone broth too. I'm using the presto canner and instantpot max for small pint batches. I'm raising rabbits too and will be canning their meat.
No sugar in the meat or vegetable recipes. Pressure canning will let you do them, not water bath. That's the largest expense, a good pressure canner. The All American canner is best IMHO. Also the most expensive...
I bought an All American... just need to use it. No gasket FTW! Most of the recipes (except basic meat) even in the pressure section of the book had some sugar added.
Yes... I had a glass top as well... but since I had a remodel already planned with a gas stove- I went for it!!! I just need that darn remodel to be done ❤️
Chickens…? Eggs.? Simplest way to store unlimited supply of protein. Not against canned goods and have many for short term but a longer term plan is quite easy with chickens.
Our hens have slowed down on the egg production, so we are looking into getting chicks. Our buddy gave us the hens we have, almost 2 years ago, so we have never raised them from chicks before.
If we are successful with the chicks, I want to start raising some meat birds as well. I just can't name them or I won't be able to eat them 😂
Chickens are so vital to have! I have layers for egg production, and we raise two batches (25 each) of cornish cross rock for meat birds. 7 weeks start to finish for each batch. I receive my day old chicks, over-night at the post office. i keep them in a brooder box for 3 weeks. 4'x8' Brooder box that I condense down to 4'x4' with heat lamp, pine shavings, food and water for the first week and a half, then open up so they have more room for the next week and a half. Jumbo Cornish cross rock grow very quickly, by three weeks I move them outside in a chicken tractor that has wheels and is 6'x10'. The chicken tractor is moved out on pasture 3 times a day so my chickens are happy with fresh air, fresh salad bar, clean water and NONGMO Organic feed from an amish distributor. The birds are full size by 7 weeks and week process them ourselves with a complete chicken processing equipment from feathermanequipment.com. Freezers are full, the best chicken you will ever taste. i serve them their every need for 7 weeks and they are happy every day of their life. They in turn provide for us, some of our food for at least a year. 50 chickens 1/week. i would be happy to share with you answers to any questions you might have. Hope this helps. God Bless
Keystone is really good, but last I looked a month or two ago are either impossible to find or price gouged like a mofo.
I haven't looked recently but I bet worse now. If you live close to them it'd be awesome to just go pickup a couple cases. I don't have any local retailers for their products unfortunately.
A huge plus on keystone is it's the absolute lowest sodium canned meat you'll find anywhere.
over the past six months they seem to be out of stock on some items. I just checked the website and everything is currently available. First time that happened.
Forget Amazon or Ebay, the price gouging is off the charts.
When I first came across them a while back I searched through all the local joints listed on their site. None were local to me, or even semi local. Amazon pricing wasn't bad then, especially on sold by Amazon, other sellers were gouging horribly. Walmart was also good pricing and I see they now have the 28oz chicken back in stock at $8.48 per can.
Just looked up history on WalMart, last time I bought was 10/20 and 28oz chicken was $6.28.
I actually found Keystone by searching "how is canned chicken made" and came across their production video. Watching I was like what, no way, they add way more sodium, but nope, and that's when I got their brand name and hunted down their products.
Wish I could find them locally, but actually I'd looked into getting a pressure cooker and doing my own chicken in mason jars.
FYI, pretty sure I've tried all Keystone's offerings, all are good and would highly recommend. Prepping using a lot of canned goods will shoot your sodium intake through the roof, Keystone helps counter that.
Don't panic over a date, but buy as much prepping supplies that you can afford and store. A big battery for jumping your car that has USB ports is good to have to charge tablets and phones. I also like kerosene lanterns for light. And a propane camp stove for cooking. Keep some regular bleach around and add 7 drops to a gal of water if it's not cleen.
If you have money in a national bank, I would pull it out and open an account at a small local bank/credit union, etc. I sleep better at night with the security of small banks.
Second. There will be big bank closures, but the little independents will likely continue without too much trouble. Mine is already training on the new non-SWIFT system. They've been working hard on the new "update," as they call it.
Nice. I'm going to shop for one. I'm also going to go get a bullion just to have one, if I can afford it. I know (a) gold bullion, silly I know. I have no idea how much it is. Maybe get more but I doubt it. ;)
Many experts believe that both gold and silver are seriously undervalued, but the manipulation is greater with silver. Therefore, the value of silver may increase faster than gold.
You can be your own bank. Obviously keep enough fiat in the bank to pay bills, but consider moving the rest to precious metals. If you need emergency cash, you can convert the silver back into fiat (likely at a profit, considering the currently suppressed price).
Of course, not financial advice. Just sharing info.
I’m not in the US but there should be many on here that stack silver that can help you. For example. If you are in Arizona or could drive there in a day and come home, I would go to Scottsdale Mint. I love their silver! But before you go see if you can buy immediately over the counter and walk out with it. If you don’t hold it you don’t own it. Ask here so Silver Coin/bullion stackers know of any REPUTABLE silver bullion dealers in your state. Time is of the essence. You should not be buying silver/gold if you have to wait weeks for it❗️❗️
It doesn’t matter. Coins or bullion. You are stacking ounces. The idea is to get as much silver for the cheapest price. The premiums will not go down. You need to bite the bullet and buy some silver now. REMEMBER. If you don’t hold it in your hand, you DO NOT OWN IT. Look up Lynette Zang on YouTube.
I would try to put 100% of your retirement funds into PRPFX. The Permanent Portfolio Fund. Their target allocation is 25% gold/precious metals / 25% growth stocks / 25% US treasury bonds / 25% t-bills.
I don't understand why you all are so sure small banks are safe. When the banks went to hell in the 1980s recession, the small banks were the first to go.
Doesn’t matter, still fractional banking, meaning that they’ve lent out your money at least 15 times.
They would still not have a fraction of your money available, so when the bank run start, only the 100ish first customers will get their money, the rest are screwed.
Physical gold/silver is the way to go, and some cash, the ATMs will be emptied the first 2 days, the banks (even the smaller) will be emptied even faster.
What the enemy is about to experience. Dark to light. Darkness only exists in the absence of the light. They will rue the day and wish they had never entered the DARK-ness to begin with, thus the "Darn"-kess because they kissed the devil and lost...DARN-it!

I figured it had to do with the deep state's play book. The DS has been seeding blackouts for years now. If they become so desperate from loosing they could blackout power or Internet. Darkness.
But DS playbook is known, so their own blackout could be cover for whatever trap Q has got waiting for them.
A Trap card.
I think having cash on hand is prudent when there is news about the EU and Euro simply being terminated. Also there are legit economists who are sounding the alarm on the severity of economic indicators. It's not just about Q. It's likely there will be a deepening, worsening recession/depression in the US for a time that impacts goods and services. Store food and goods, grow food. Look at a tiny greenhouse/grow tent for winter, for example. Now is the time.
That is in fact what I'm doing. Keeping cash and only enough in the bank to cover the bills, starting this week anyway. You helped me finally make up my mind.
Keep the cash to cover the bill, then convert your fiat currency into silver (and gold if you have enough), while you are doing your preparations on the practical level too.
If everything collapses those bill collectors will not be collecting shit. You're talking about an extremely chaotic situation if electronic fiat is no longer usable. Absolute chaos.
The point is, if YOU own the gold and silver, YOU have the assets.
Do you know about the Bail Ins? After 2008, laws were changed everywhere. Big Banks etc, won't be 'bailed out' if and when they collapse. Instead, they have to use all their assets to pay off their liabilities. All ... their .... assets.
The digital numbers in a bank are not YOURS. They belong to the Bank. It's their asset. Even now, laws are being passed restricting people from withdrawing funds. Or even depositing cash. As your banks. Try to withdraw 5000 in cash, or 10,000 in cash. See what happens. (Anecdotally, from friends, I've heard things!)
Banks are only required to keep 10% of actual assets in order to issue 100% debt. So, You might 'have' $20,000 in the bank, and Joe also 20k, , and Mary, and Bob, and Sally, but the Bank is only actually required to have $10,000 in actual cash or accessible funds, at any given time, not $100,000.
Silver, gold and precious metals are short-term insurance against inflation (one's fiat dollars are decreasing in value every single year, always) and long-term insurance against fiat collapse.
That's my view, anyway. Insurance. Because you actually own and hold the assets. YOU are the bank.
I mean, do you really trust banks? Who do you think will get screwed over first when the shit hits the fan, financially?
Mad-max, post meltdown scenario might be possible, but it's certainly not the only reason to have actual pm. I'm far more interested in protection against fiat currency devaluation (always happening).
Idk but I trust Q would not put us in a chaotic state such as that.
After 2008, laws were changed everywhere. Big Banks etc, won't be 'bailed out' if and when they collapse. Instead, they have to use all their assets to pay off their liabilities. All ... their .... assets.
"After these global Bail-outs the preamble to the resultant 2010 Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, claimed: “…to protect the American taxpayer by ending bailouts.” The financial law firm Davis Polk estimates the final length of the Dodd-Frank model, the single longest bill ever passed by the US government, is over 30,000 pages. Before the bill’s passage, the six largest banks in the US spent $29.4 million lobbying Congress and flooded Capitol Hill with about 3,000 lobbyists for the bank’s protections, not yours.
Meanwhile, the US taxpayer watched as pension funds went bust, bankrupt businesses rid themselves of long-term retirement obligations and their family’s financial futures were cast aside from any concern.
Under Dodd-Frank, the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was given new powers and methods to “guarantee” depositors’ savings.” Under the direction of TARP, such powers were also included in Britain’s 2012 Prudent Regulation Authority (PRA) reform bill. Both agencies did put a stop to Bail-outs. However, they did so by miraculously morphing Bail-outs into something new called, “Bail-ins.” Worse, in redefining bank deposits, suddenly payback for pending bank failures shifted to the unsuspecting bank depositor."
There is no perfect answer. Do what you think is best with the time and money you have. As most have posted here. Food, Water, canned and dry goods. Dry goods (beans and rice stored in Mylar bags with oxygen absorbers in 5 gallon buckets last a long time. We bought a freeze dryer 3 years ago. It's a little costly up front but I think it was worth it and have no regrets. We also made some water filtration system, using Berkey water filters and a couple of food grade 5 gal buckets. We are also stackers. Remember those that stack Gold and Silver also stack lead.
You sound just like us! We bought a freeze dryer too. What's your favorite things to FD? I really like doing single ingredient foods, like bags of frozen veggies or fruit. I have a bunch of corn (kernals) going right now, and have frozen spinach going in next.
Hubby wants me to do more meals, like the mountain house bags you can buy at the store... but I like having all the ingredients I use, FDed and shelf stable.
Like you... We have mostly done single ingredient batches. Lots of veggies, strawberries and sweet potatoes. We have done some tuna casserole, Lasagna and spaghettis
We have also ran many batches of meat. Chicken, steak and hamburger. We always cook the meet prior to FD'ing. Fat does not FD well and cooking removes enough for easy FD'ing.
We also did two batches of lemons, peeling, pith and all. Ran them trough our vitamix and made a puree', FD, then powered them. Instant lemoade! Turns out the peeling in lemon is loaded with vitamins,
I did batch of horseradish root. Sliced thin...FD'ed.... Then powdered it... place in mason jar, only rehydrate what you need at the time. It is rather on the hot side though. lol
We have been powering most things lately.... Eggs, beets, onions, garlic,,etc. Easy to store in mason jars with O2 absorbers and easy to use. Currently doing herbs and it working great for them... 19 hour turn around time so its fast
We also starting making our own O2 absorbers..... steel wool and salt... look it up on Ytube.... save you some money and you know they are good.
My prep is pretty much only monetary with silver, gold, and some crypto.
I don't have the space or means even really to do much with food. I will start doubling up on bottled water. I may get hangry but at least I won't be dehydrated! lol
There is always room in cupboards. You have to keep in mind that you don't need 20 coffee mugs or 15 different pots and pans. Also linen closets are a good spot to put canned goods in behind the towels. I bet if you minimize and consolidate, you can tuck away 3-4 months of food.
A little Physical Gold and Silver if you can swing it. A Gun and some Ammo if you don’t have one already. You maybe able to do without depending on how rural and close knit your community is. Probably a couple 40 packs of Bottled Water. Not necessarily ideal but if you don’t have any other means. Certainly would buy time before resorting to Dirty Water.
Get some Rice and assorted Canned Goods. A decent bulk bag of rice can last a while if properly stored. And it can be used to stretch any canned goods. Canned Goods unless it specifically says to cook it can also be eaten out of the can cold. Won’t necessarily taste the best. But I digress.
I’d suggest flour but ground flour can be a bit of a touchy thing to store long term. And The wheat berries used to make flour will keep. But they aren’t particularly useful without a grain mill.
Also Booze. The cheaper the better. Can be used as disinfectant in a pinch and to barter.
If your outside a heavily urban area. I’d suggest some manual tools. Axe, Shovel, Pick, Hoe etc. Chain Saw and Gas powered tools are great. Until the gas runs out.
Personally I don’t foresee any long term permanent interruption. Probably a couple weeks at most before some degree of normalcy resumes at least as far as the deliveries of gas and goods to stores is concerned.
I live in an apartment on the edge of downtown, my parents live only 10 minutes from me in suburbia, and our close relatives live in down south 30 minutes from downtown in one of the newest housing developments. If I have to scuttle from the chaos downtown for a couple weeks, I have 2 immediate locations I can run to
Rice and beans as well, but airtight buckets aren't always airtight. Get a women's hair straightener (looks like a curling iron with 2 flat pieces) and different sized mylar bags, and some oxygen absorbers. Think before you choose which bags to seal your stuff in - 5 gallons of rice probably isn't the best idea but 5 one-gallon bags of rice is ok. Keep the sealed stuff in the "airtight buckets". Won't matter if they leak if you mylar seal the stuff. This also works if you don't have the time or space to freeze your grain first as long as your oxygen absorbers are the right size to remove the air from the sealed bags.
Also get coffee. Some people say get the beans, but I just got Folgers instant. I put it in mason jars (small and normal) with oxygen absorbers, and I also used my foodsaver jar sealing attachment to be safe. The small jars I set aside for trading - people will want their coffee. I suggest also doing the same with rice so you don't have to break into buckets and bags right away.
(Edited - forgot to add) Make sure you label your buckets, bags, and even mason jars (so you don't mix up say powdered gravy and cinnamon). You don't want to be opening stuff just to see what you have. Make an inventory. I have a spreadsheet along with the labels, and my sheet lists buy and expire dates, calories, and protein.
If you have funds in the fiat currency system, pull it out, as much as you can afford to, and buy silver with it. Silver is extremely low at this time. Gold and silver have been real money for millenia. If and when the fiat currency system collapses, silver and gold will retain their value. Silver, in particular, is cheap enough to be used on a day to day level. Gold is just too precious (expensive).
Pawn shops are not the best as far as I have seen, very big markups.
Try to find a local coin shop or bullion shop. Pay in cash (mine only takes cash), and it won't be traced by the gov. If you shop online, it will be traceable.
Online has a much better selection and is very convenient. I have always had great service with JM Bullion, but many of the big reputable sites are fine. I had a bad experience with Apmex, but many here seem to like them.
If you shop online, check the different sites for their "deals" or sales. You can probably find a better price if you shop around. Also, I would suggest not using a credit card, they charge you a higher price if you do. Bank wires and bank transfers are "free", but your bank might charge a fee to do it.
My local coin shop has the best prices, but he only has what he has. A few pieces of gold and a few tubes of silver eagles (last time I was in there). But, you buy it there and leave with it, without the gov or banks knowing that you bought it.
Should check out https://www.goldenstatemint.com/deals/, they don't charge sales tax which makes quite a difference at checkout. Especially on larger orders...
I've bought the majority of my silver at Golden State Mint. Great company, good service, and the number one thing I like about them? They don't charge sales tax which makes a HUGE difference at checkout, especially on larger orders!
Step 1. Search online for "Buy Bullion". Look for a place that sells, ideally in your city or locality. If not, you can get it shipped, but if it's in your city, you should be able to pick it up yourself, saving shipping expenses. Look at 3+ places that sell, compare prices. See how they vary.
Step 2. Search on Ytub for "buying silver and gold" and check out some of the videos that pop up. Lots of folks talking about this, sharing their knowhow and experience.
Step 3. Look for "silver stacking" on yutub, and learn on that. Key points you need to learn are: "Spot Price", "Premium", "Storage" etc.
Now is an amazing time to buy silver, as its way, way down (being suppressed by the powers that wanna be, including the bankers). I bought a bunch last year in Feb, when it was up at around USD 26. Now, its down at USD 19. I'm not worried. I bought for the long-term insurance against fiat collapse.
I've bought the majority of my silver at Golden State Mint. Great company, good service, and the number one thing I like about them? They don't charge sales tax which makes a HUGE difference at checkout, especially on larger orders!
I've heard different. In fact, I've heard that only those with silver have been able to manage to get through the difficulties, because it's money on the street.
There are lots of places that sell gold or silver bullion, in the form of bars, coins, etc, in all sorts of denominations, in all sorts of sizes, to fit pretty much any budget.
I'd link you a few places, but I don't know you're specific locale.
If you buy, stack some gold if you can, but silver is the next best option at like 26-ish per ounce… over the past three years been accumulating silver,,,,, 250oz currently. Its a long hold that will take time, but if gold does destroy the fed, gold/silver will go through the roof
I dont think we are gonna see a complete breakdown of society. That's not gonna happen. I do believe it will get alot harder for us. Mad max world? Nahh. If that happens it's all over.
This isn't my company nor am I getting paid to endorse them, I am just a very satisfied customer, and an Anon looking to help other Anons to a good deal.
If you're looking to buy silver, should check out https://www.goldenstatemint.com/deals/ Currently still have their Labor Day special going, and at checkout they don't charge sales tax. Maybe if you live in FL they might, but for me in VA they didn't.
Living in the land of 'niceism' with an economy supported by oil I have only cashed about 10-15% of my total bank balance as the chances are rather good that this place will come out of it with a functioning banking and economy system.
Now I live in one of the few countries that this low percentage precaution would apply to(and where I doubt even 10% of the population even think of taking such a precaution), and depending on the realities of what country you live in this percentage should probably be some version of higher....
“911 days after the 3/11 start of corona pandemic”? I remember it starting in December 2019… it’s easy to make coincidences when you just make up dates…
If 3/11 were true, this would imply that white hats chose the day that corona started… that would be pretty bad..
I'm not saying you're wrong or they're right, but in my memory c19 went public in March. I don't remember the exact date. And in truth it was patented years ago. Maybe this post meant publiclly.
Don't buy in to the fear mongering. Hold the line.
My dad gave me four $50 gold coins, and around 45 silver dollars, minted as far back as the 1880’s, plus some spare silver dimes.
Thanks dad
Some of those may be worth considerably more than their metal value depending on condition.
Good ole Dad!
Dad forgot to tell you, I'm your brother from another mother and you're supposed to send me half. I'm a nice guy though, so send me one gold coin and we'll call it even, Brother.
Hey, can I borrow 10 dollars? Give me 5 and keep 5, that way you owe me 5 and I owe you 5, just so we're even.
Of course. Any time!
“I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.” J. Wellington Wimpy.
What weight do they have on them? Do they have .999 on them?
Yeah, I was wondering where you people were. :) Thanks. That's what I've been hearing. It's not fear mongering. It's sanity.
When we get into a discussion, mine says, "Wait a minute." and then puts her phone in a car in the garage.
Food, water, backup power, ammo, silver do the best you can ...
👍
Tobacco, booze and (in certain states) cannabis.
When SHTF, morons will trade clean water, canned food, and ammo for their addictions.
Silver & gold for later down the road when civilization starts up again.
Don’t wait, tomorrow, before it’s too late. Because the final hours draw near before shit splatters from the fan.
cash is still good tho (funds in bank). you'll need to use a bulk of it to pay your mortgage and other necessary finances so even if hyper inflation happens you'll still be able to pay those bills with the same dilluted dollars.
i would just make sure to split up to two diff banks at least.
Local banks are probably a better bet than the big national ones. I personally would prefer to be banking with someone that lives in my community vs a stuffed shirt handing down rules from several states away
Credit Unions
I have to agree because even as Q said Gold will end the Fed that means Gold and Silver will be unleashed to the moon but this fear porn as some people call regarding that our cash will be stolen and if that is true we as a population on this earth are totally screwed.
Let's say and I truly mean I hope your gold and silver will reap you a fortune but every one else is broke. Now what?
Food, water, ammo, weapons, silver, silver, silver. Most importantly, a rosary for spiritual warfare.
Matthew 6:7
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Yeah, yeah, yeah… I expected you. Go have fun with your man-made religion. The rosary is prayed by both Catholics & Orthodox Christians. The rosary is older than your man-made pseudo-religion.
It dates back to Babylon, same as the "Queen of Heaven" you're praying to.
I simply pray to God through our one mediator, Christ the Lord. The Holy Spirit that dwells within me is my advocate.
Again, the Babylonians/Sumerians were using prayer beads 6000 years ago.
Here are some replicas for sale- https://hearthfirehandworks.net/collections/sumerian-god-prayer-beads
And it's no coincidence you couldn't find evidence of prayer beads before the pagan traditions began to infiltrate the Roman Catholic Church.
Funny isn't it, how religion divides people.......
Yup. People get all bent out of shape when you tell them Christian history.
The facts are self evident. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I wasn't agreeing with either one of you, just stating that religion seems to only cause division among people. Like maybe it was designed that way and for control. Why does everyone have to voice their opinions especially when they know they will get pushback on it?
Is this why [[they]] are conspiring with the credit card companies to create a new code for the purchase of guns and ammo?
THIS GETTING GOOD;{)
FUD. People spread it like candy.
Protein is most important. Buy canned meat.
We’re putting an order in for cow/pig. I think 1/4 cow, 1/2 pig. Not sure we can handle more than that in our freezer
I would love an AA, I just have a glass top right now that can't handle it so presto it is.
Yes... I had a glass top as well... but since I had a remodel already planned with a gas stove- I went for it!!! I just need that darn remodel to be done ❤️
60-80 lbs! That's a looong day. Multiple canners?
Oh yeah! I have 3, but 2 going at once is about a I can handle. :)
Chickens…?
God Bless
Do you have a Rural King nearby? If you don't want to mailorder, they have chicks pretty much all the time.
If food is scarce and people are panicking, those chickens will need a fortress to protect them.
Where do you get Keystone Meats?
I'm in Michigan, Kroger and Meijer both carry it.
KeystoneMeats.com for direct purchase of case lots.
Born in the 'Thumb'. I had family in MI and visited twice every year. Wonderful times.
TY good idea.
My grocery has consistently had them in stock.
Low sodium was the first thing I noticed about Keystone. Excellent!
TY
Bleach weakens substantially with age. After 6 months not very effective at all. Buy it in 'shifts' and use FIFO.
Yes and some prepers store the chemicals to make bleech.
First I’d heard of this- thank you for the info! I need to go buy some now😊
If you have money in a national bank, I would pull it out and open an account at a small local bank/credit union, etc.
Maybe get more but I doubt it. ;)
Silver is much cheaper than gold and probably easier to trade in smaller values if shit breaks down.
Also, food, water, batteries, toilet paper, bullets, etc will be very tradable.
Thanks for the mention of batteries, been meaning to get more, also cigarettes and alcohol of all kinds will be easily traded.
TY Good points.
Where is a good place to get silver?
Money metals got 50 10 oz bars in 3 days!
I second money metals. APMEX is also a good deal
I had a really bad experience with Apmex, I will never use them again. I have been really happy with JM Bullion.
You should not be buying silver/gold if you have to wait weeks for it❗️❗️
Thanks for the advice. I'm not far from Scottsdale I go there often. When I go to Scottsdale Mint, anything in particular I should ask for?
ScottsdaleSilver.com.
Silver.com (JM Bullion) ripped me off on a lost shipment, and their claims department is a joke. I will never use or recommend them again.
Many purchase from local coin shops (LCS). Many purchase from large companies like APMEX and others.
You can learn much about silver at WallStreetSilver on reddit.
about silver.....is there a way to avoid the drastic premium prices?....and should one buy known silver COINS vs bullion?.....
and what about the stock market?....have all my retirement in there, half defensive stocks and half bonds....
That's about as hedged as you can get.
Best to buy silver. NOW! It’s cheap.
Look at you, stacking silver.
Where are you based, Matilda? Which state? I'm in Vic.
I don't understand why you all are so sure small banks are safe. When the banks went to hell in the 1980s recession, the small banks were the first to go.
Exactly. And if stuff goes like we think it's going to go, it's not going to matter anyway. It will be a painless transition
100% correct. Most of these small banks are linked to the big ones. There will be a domino affect.
This is good advice no matter what happens. We shouldn’t be supporting asshole Banksters such as “Bank of America” and the like anyways.
👍
TY
Doesn’t matter, still fractional banking, meaning that they’ve lent out your money at least 15 times.
They would still not have a fraction of your money available, so when the bank run start, only the 100ish first customers will get their money, the rest are screwed.
Physical gold/silver is the way to go, and some cash, the ATMs will be emptied the first 2 days, the banks (even the smaller) will be emptied even faster.

Darnkess not Darkness
KN, NK?
Kia
Darnkess
What the enemy is about to experience. Dark to light. Darkness only exists in the absence of the light. They will rue the day and wish they had never entered the DARK-ness to begin with, thus the "Darn"-kess because they kissed the devil and lost...DARN-it! https://www.definitions.net/definition/Darnkess
that definition was submitted within the last year by an anonymous stranger and verified by noone.
Except it was "darnkess" Typo? Maybe but spelling matters ...
Wasn't there a book that used darnkess in the title around that time?
https://www.amazon.com/Three-Days-Darnkess-Aitken/dp/1505633400. A typo by Amazon, apparently.
Or:
See: “Baron Trump’s Marvellous Underground Adventures” by Ingersoll Lockwood.
Those underground adventures are fun. Slowly getting through my reading list.
The next books I am having my son read are "How to Win Friends & Influence People" & "The Art of War"
Just a little light reading for the boy, eh? 😂. EXCELLENT choices.
It is something I wish I would have been introduced to in my early teen years. I consider both required reading subjects.
I just bought that Baron Trump set. I'm about to read it when I finish David Icke's The Biggest Secret. Can't wait. 😀
Right I noticed that too.
Yay more date fagging
👍
Physical Silver is the most undervalued commodity on the Planet.
I agree whole heartedly about silver. Once the banks/hedgies fall the true value will come shining through.
Silver is money.
Right tomorrow I go get the silver! TY
If everything collapses those bill collectors will not be collecting shit. You're talking about an extremely chaotic situation if electronic fiat is no longer usable. Absolute chaos.
Maybe not.
The Great Depression happened, you know.
Idk but I trust Q would not put us in a chaotic state such as that.
https://old.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/xcdt4i/sec_greenlights_35_trillion_pension_pot_for/
They are going to hold pensions as hostage to force a bailout. Is their plan. Whether it works or not, who knows.
PS. Re: bank deposits redefined.

Turns out the peeling in lemon is loaded with vitamins, I did batch of horseradish root.
As you! We love ours! FD'ers unite!! lol
This exactly....

Today I got more cash on hand and put 30 gallons of gasoline in the shed.
Rotate that - it can go bad.
Any idea if ethanol free gas lasts longer stored?
My prep is pretty much only monetary with silver, gold, and some crypto.
I don't have the space or means even really to do much with food. I will start doubling up on bottled water. I may get hangry but at least I won't be dehydrated! lol
There is always room in cupboards. You have to keep in mind that you don't need 20 coffee mugs or 15 different pots and pans. Also linen closets are a good spot to put canned goods in behind the towels. I bet if you minimize and consolidate, you can tuck away 3-4 months of food.
You may want to look at removing the ethanol, this may extend the shelf life. Either way it makes for better gas.

You think it’s still good after a year and half?
Great ideas. I'm pretty good on the foods. Will do the others. TY
I live in an apartment on the edge of downtown, my parents live only 10 minutes from me in suburbia, and our close relatives live in down south 30 minutes from downtown in one of the newest housing developments. If I have to scuttle from the chaos downtown for a couple weeks, I have 2 immediate locations I can run to
Put your flour in the freezer for 48 hours to kill any weevil eggs, then store it in airtight buckets.
Organized prepper. Kudos

Get physical Gold and Silver while you still can.
I will try to get some next week. It will be just a little.

if you look at the venezuela crash as a case study, those with silver and gold found it useless.
Gold and Silver have been used for THOUSANDS of years. https://financialpost.com/news/economy/in-venezuela-people-break-off-flakes-of-gold-to-pay-for-meals-and-haircuts
I've heard different. In fact, I've heard that only those with silver have been able to manage to get through the difficulties, because it's money on the street.
Why is it that the only places in town to buy physical gold is either jewelry stores or pawn shops?
Search "Buy Bullion"
There are lots of places that sell gold or silver bullion, in the form of bars, coins, etc, in all sorts of denominations, in all sorts of sizes, to fit pretty much any budget.
I'd link you a few places, but I don't know you're specific locale.
Clovis California
Yeah, OK. Then do a search there.
(Sorry, I'm in Aus.)
Gon online and search Money Metals ot APMEX. Those are to reliable dealers
No panic but buy Physical Silver 💕
The Vatican pulled all of it money out of banks.
If you buy, stack some gold if you can, but silver is the next best option at like 26-ish per ounce… over the past three years been accumulating silver,,,,, 250oz currently. Its a long hold that will take time, but if gold does destroy the fed, gold/silver will go through the roof
Dude, silver is currently at USD 18~19 an ounce. Totally being pushed down and suppressed.
Maybe you were talking AUD?
👍 TY
I dont think we are gonna see a complete breakdown of society. That's not gonna happen. I do believe it will get alot harder for us. Mad max world? Nahh. If that happens it's all over.
Correct. White hats would not allow that to occur. So you either trust the plan or think mad max world is coming. lol
Happy prepping, NCSWIC!! God Bless

Someone explain the 3 days that precede 10 days' mourning, please.
I have no idea either.
I think someone said it has to do with these 9-11 Q drops. https://qalerts.app/?q=sep+11
Remember to also account for/with time stamps as the month, days gone, days to go, day it is, and the year.
Ex: Jan 2, 2022 = 1 - 2 /363 - 2 - 2022
“911 days after the 3/11 start of corona pandemic”? I remember it starting in December 2019… it’s easy to make coincidences when you just make up dates…
If 3/11 were true, this would imply that white hats chose the day that corona started… that would be pretty bad..
I'm not saying you're wrong or they're right, but in my memory c19 went public in March. I don't remember the exact date. And in truth it was patented years ago. Maybe this post meant publiclly.
So in your mind what does the “19” stand for in “Covid-19”?
From where do you all buy your silver?
Gold and Silver Exchange stores. Or Gold stores usually sell it. I like the small ones over the big name ones personally.
Actually I may go with that Goldenstatemint.com so many here are recommending.
After the crash, invest in companies that make hearts from your DNA. People will be needing hearts soon.
Buy silver? I got a silver tea pot today at Goodwill for $4.99 and the matching sugar bowl for $1.99. Score!! Lol
Silver plating ain't 'silver' bud. Keep going.
Dang it. Ok, off to eBay it goes :)
Try nabbing a few silver eagles. That be silver.
Where donu come upnwith the arrest of biden and Obama?
The global currency reset is about to happen. This cancels the Fiat system and goes back to asset backed currency. Cancels the black hat system.
Biggest jumps in value will be: Iraq Vietnam Zimbabwe Venezuela
Buy now for cheap and reap the rewards when the revalues happen.
Buy 1020 XRP. Never sell, stake on chain passive income.
