If I somehow make contact because I’m mowing my yard or getting my mail, I will say, “You have one minute to get off my property.” Then every 5 seconds, “You have 55 seconds to get off my property “, etc., all while retrieving and loading which ever weapon is closest to my reach.

In this day & age, you're right. I kept them separate because of the kids. I could always lock & load in a second or two. Now, my kids are grown, youngest is 19, they know gun safety and can shoot, and we might have to draw on short notice.
