If you are going to perform mass arrests of the elite and political class across the country, among many others, then you cant have the man in charge be one of the most polarizing individuals, right or wrong. It would not end well. You would risk ostracizing a large portion of the population leading to long term challenges and conflict. Optics are important.
The Ds and RINOs will refuse to accept Trump's reelection. They will play out the Transition Integrity Project and incite secession (and actual insurrection) in any state where they have the means to do so (using the terrorists, mercenaries and foreign troops currently being let over the border). Trump can now use the precedent set by Lincoln to deploy the military domestically and make the arrests. Q gave us the ending in the very beginning.
