I've been following Linda Moulton Howell since 1996. She is a Stanford-trained American investigative journalist, author, HBO documentary film maker and Regional Emmy award-winner best known for her work as a ufologist and advocate of a variety of theories, including her investigation into abductions, crop circles, and animal and cattle mutilations, of which she is considered perhaps the world's foremost authority on.
She has obtained hundreds/thousands (?) of interviews with military persons, alleged 'alien abductees', cattle ranchers, farmers, police officers and myriad others over the years. Her thoroughness in vetting her interviewees and witnesses is top notch and can be relied upon.

Based on my own personal experiences and investigations and those I've seen of Linda's, I fully believe there are non-human entities that are working with or beside our government officials and are being covered up for very good reasons.
If they don't originate from this planet, they are alien. Doesn't matter what you classify them as. And those beings aren't all demons. But as you point out, the original word used was "Nephilim," which does not translate to "giants." It more accurately translates to "fallen ones," as in the fallen angels.

NOT ALL humans are of Adam (i.e. not created by God).

I'm familiar with the work of Linda Moulton Howe, along with Jacques Vallee, John Keel, Stanton Friedman, Zechariah Sitchin, Lloyd Pye, and many other writers and scientists who take this field of study seriously. Taken as a whole, the subject definitely deserves our attention.
The media and government has certainly been actively dissuading us from looking at it, having painted the subject as "tinfoil hat conspiracy material" not worthy of serious thought. For that reason alone, it seems we should keep an open mind about the probability that we are not alone in the universe.
Well... I actually knew Sitchin when he was alive, and attended several of his conferences. I know that his interpretations of Sumerian cuneiform tablets are "controversial" in the archeology world, but they were originally interpreted back in the 1800s when no one knew of flight and astronomy was in its infancy.
His later interpretations are intriguing to say the least. His first book, "The Twelfth Planet" is so well researched and referenced / cited that it made an impression on me. I don't dismiss Sitchin so casually.

Yeah, Doubtful that any beings from other solar systems or dimensions are wanting to be friends. I didn't believe in demons until I saw 2, there's were people who were quite insane. Seemed to me they were possessed by something.
I think some do actually have benevolent intentions for us. But I also think that there's a large section that's ambivalent towards us. And I'm increasingly convinced that there's at least one or two groups that are outright hostile, which is indeed scary and I suspect is at least one reason as to why such a tight lid has been kept on this subject.

I think most of the long-time UFO/ET researchers will tell you that demons (and the broader concept of "evil") are very real things in this inter-dimensional universe we live in.
I see no conflict in the idea that there are non-human intelligences that are similar to us along with negative, inter-dimensional beings we call demons; But also balanced out by a divinely good Creator that is there to assist us in battle with those negative entities.
Demons are a very real thing. My cousin is a completely normal, rational, honest down-to-earth practical person in every way conceivable. Unless she has to be alone for more than a day or two. When she has people over to stay with her, she never mentions the ufo, not ever. Even though it's the whole reason she can't stay by herself.

It's not even remotely controversial at this point to observe that the US govt has had ongoing contact with ETs for decades. But as you point out, the original word used was "Nephilim," which does not translate to "giants." It more accurately translates to "fallen ones," as in the fallen angels.
Revelation 12:7-9:

Revelation 12:7-9 tells us that Satan and his angels were the ones who fell from heaven. It is SATAN'S descedents who are the "fallen ones," and NOT God's angels.
If you continue to read to Genesis 6:5, you will see the RESULT of all this chaos in Genesis 1-4.
Now, WHY would THAT be? Why would God's creation become wicked?
If you are correct, and (a) the Nephilm are the angels of God (good), and (b) these angels mixed with the sons of God (also good), then (c) how could the world be FULL OF WICKEDNESS (evil) by God's own creation?
It does not fit the story of ALL of God's creation being "good."
The ONLY way the story makes any sense is if there was a MIXING of good and evil, with the result being evil.
We do not learn the KEYS to the Old Testament until we get through the New Testament. We cannot understand the OT without also including the NT.

There are TWO Hebrew words for "man" in the Bible (and some variations of those, as well), used in different places in the Bible.
Most of Genesis 6 uses the Hebrew word "adam" for "man."
However ... the phrase "men of renown" uses the word "enosh," not "adam."
This signifies TWO DIFFERENT types of man.
Yes, this OTHER type of man (enosh) was well-known ("of renown"), but that does not mean thought of in high esteem. The word enosh is a derogatory word, not one of respect.
Where "adam" is used, it is a man descended from God's creation of Adam.
But where "enosh" is used, it describes NON-ADAMAIC man -- NOT a creation of God.
NOT ALL humans are of Adam (i.e. not created by God).
SOME are something else, though genetically very similar -- which is where Satan's fallen angels enter the picture.
This is all assuming you want to believe that the Bible is true, which we are doing here.
If we believe it is true, then we should understand what it ACTUALLY SAID ORIGINALLY -- and not the bastardized version we have today.
The original Hebrew tells us that these two types of "man" are NOT the same.
THIS is why God saw all the wickedness that he hated.

I know that his interpretations of Sumerian cuneiform tablets are "controversial" in the archeology world, but they were originally interpreted back in the 1800s when no one knew of flight and astronomy was in its infancy.

It's an area of research that demands one be comfortable with ambiguity. I have been researching this subject for 30 years now, and researching it quite seriously for the last 20.
There's literally nothing that I'm 100% certain of beyond that a non-human intelligence is interacting with us. There are things that "I think I think", but anyone who does serious research in this field knows that very little can be confirmed for certain.
We need people like you with open minds. It's the only way we'll get the truth.
Yeah, Doubtful that any beings from other solar systems or dimensions are wanting to be friends. I didn't believe in demons until I saw 2, there's were people who were quite insane. Seemed to me they were possessed by something.
I think some do actually have benevolent intentions for us. But I also think that there's a large section that's ambivalent towards us. And I'm increasingly convinced that there's at least one or two groups that are outright hostile, which is indeed scary and I suspect is at least one reason as to why such a tight lid has been kept on this subject.

I think most of the long-time UFO/ET researchers will tell you that demons (and the broader concept of "evil") are very real things in this inter-dimensional universe we live in.
I see no conflict in the idea that there are non-human intelligences that are similar to us along with negative, inter-dimensional beings we call demons; But also balanced out by a divinely good Creator that is there to assist us in battle with those negative entities.
Demons are a very real thing. What's frustrating is that there's a very, very religious subset of people whose reaction to all things ET is "all aliens are demons" and quite frankly, there's zero evidence to support that claim. We're likely on the precipice of disclosure over the next five years. For me, it's funny that this has come up now. I've been reading Alan Butler's "Intervention" and he's suggesting that what we are seeing isn't "aliens from another planet" at all. He thinks it's us from the future - that at some point in the future, we develop/discover time travel and all these UFOs etc are just the vessels that are used to come back, to allow Future Humans to move around.

I have a cousin who has lived on the same farm her whole life. When she was in her 20's, a ufo landed in their field, and she walked toward it, and before she could get too close, it flew off. Ever since then, for the past 40 years, she can't be alone. She's terrified of being alone, and relatives will drive cross state to be with her when her husband travels. She's afraid to be alone because the thing that scared her the most about her encounter, was that she wasn't afraid. As soon as the ufo left and flew off, she couldn't believe she had walked toward it, and wondered what the hell had come over her to make her compelled to get closer to it.
I knew a kid in 5th grade who used to hang out on his roof all the time. One night he saw a UFO and he was never the same after that. He became quiet and started obsessively drawing aliens and ufo's all the time.

My cousin is a completely normal, rational, honest down-to-earth practical person in every way conceivable. Unless she has to be alone for more than a day or two. When she has people over to stay with her, she never mentions the ufo, not ever. Even though it's the whole reason she can't stay by herself.
That cousin's mother was probably born around 1920, and when she was a little girl, she almost climbed out her bedroom window in the middle of the night to go run away with the gypsies. Her father literally caught her by the ankle as she was climbing out the window. If he hadnt've caught her in time, they never would have seen her again.
And lately on the farm: GIANT WOLVES. Apparently according to my cousin's husband, they are definitely wolves, but just a lot bigger than they should be. Farmers have been talking amongst themselves about it, because no one believes them except other farmers that have seen them too.
