Remember the last announcement, he hyped it up as the most important day ever or whatever but then looked distracted during the announcement, which was pretty much a nothing burger since everyone already assumed he'd be running for president in 2024. Maybe he was distracted and let down by the dinner he had with Kanye.
Kanye brought uninvited guests and annoyed Trump with his own presidential intentions and even asked Trump to be his VP. This ruined Trump's announcement, he thought he'd be announcing Kanye as his VP pick by that time.
I read on 4chan a few days ago that Kanye and Milo have split, so maybe Ye is thinking more sensibly now. Maybe they had another dinner, just the two of them, and Trump is gonna finally announce what he wanted to announce about a month ago.
