Stickied for most likely not due to the Vaxx Anons. If you’ve followed her, you’d know she was a troubled woman, with some possible mental health family history. Her passing is a more genuine sad passing of a talented but troubled musician.
Probably why the emotions in her beautiful voice were so authentic. This authenticity must have been what brought her to fame. Your troubles are now over, Sinéad. Rest in peace.
I take those diagnoses with a grain of salt. I've been wrongly diagnosed bipolar before (multiple other opinions diagnosed depression and ptsd from experiencing abuse) while suffering abuse, because I held back certain pieces of the story to stay alive at the hands of my abuser. Also, her son 'suicided' just last year. My opinion is they were both killed, because she was against them..
She lost her son to suicide about a year ago. He was 17. Her last post was very despondent. She has also had suicidal comments in her past. A beautiful, strong, clear Irish voice. Such a tragedy especially for her 3 surviving children.
I remember watching that live. And I'm ashamed to say that I was still deep in slumber and was APPALLED that she disrespected a Christian man. I know, my eyes are rolled up into my own head too.
Right there with you. Didn't know then what I know now. My family are all Roman Catholic. I left that church in my late teens, but still found it appalling at the time.
Left the church, have never given up Jesus Christ. In fact my life and spiritual well being is much better now, and has been for many years. It's been quite a journey, and not an easy one, but my faith in Christ is stronger than ever.
My Catholic Church has a shitload of 6s / 3's / up-side-down , broken armed crosses / Knights of Templar crosses / Cross of Israel / broken winged angles - all over the inside of the building ( on purpose. ) I as well - blew her off as a kook after her remarks about the Catholic Church ! At that time . . . I did not realize how deep the rott truly infected the Roman Catholic Religion. We live ! We learn.
Well said. We are taught as young children; doctors are good and will do no harm, policemen are here to keep us all safe, priests/nuns are doing God's work. Trust all of these people blindly because why would they choose to do something to harm us? Well, we are finding out who what where when why people are doing very bad things to the world population. When we know better, we need to choose to do better.
It's sad to see her not getting the respect she deserves here. I don't care about anything she did before or after this.
On October 3rd 1992 at the absolute height of her fame she ripped up a picture of the pope live on television during her appearance on SNL. She did so in protest of the Catholic's church massive cover up of it's sexual abuse against children. 25 Years later a movie called Spotlight won an academy for telling the story of Journalists who exposed the entire thing, O'conner was a decade before the journalists and two decades before the movie.
So how did she know? She was a victim herself and those are the first people to know. SNL of course disavowed her action and had Joe Pesci come on the next night and threaten to punch her in the face. Yep, SNL threatened to beat up a victim of sexual abuse for speaking out. Despite O'Conner being proven 100% correct, SNL has never publicly apologized.
She is a true hero who took on one of if not the most powerful organization on earth (before it was cool). It came at a great cost to her career and to her mental and physical health. In a world were celebrities pretend to be brave, she actually was. She should be celebrated on these forums and other other place that respects people who do the right thing regardless of the cost.
Her first album "The Lion and the Cobra" was named in reference to Psalm 91
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
3 Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”
I remember the incident on one of the cabal award shows (Grammys?), where she got booed, and left the stage crying. This was after the SNL display. Kris Kristofferson stuck up for her, telling her, "Don't let the bastards get you down."
When a woman shaves her head or otherwise destroys her appearance, it is very often a reaction to sexual abuse. I often think of this when seeing the pictures of some leftist women.
Interesting perspective. It's a flip of how I've been seeing this.
Usually in a sexual abuse situation, say the moms boyfriend with the daughter, the daughter will make herself unattractive. Weight gain, unwashed face - pimply and greasy hair, etc.
But there are times where the home life is not sexually but verbally abusive or she is shoved aside due to 2nd marriage & kids from wife #2 being higher in priority. Your take totally fits.
I am a hairstylist with over 40 years experience, you are completely wrong headed. If you solely define a women's femininity by her hair or lack there of, you need to do some self reflection. FYI Sinéad was married 3 times, so there's that too.
Yes i know what commitment is. I have been married for 38 years. And you?
To bad you solely define a women's femininity by her hair alone. Speaks volumes of your character. 🤯
She ended up being a hero after all. The first famous public figure to make the masses question the narrative in my lifetime. She deserves our solemn respect and thanks. When she did it, the psyops were pure and strong.
Very much a free thinker and narrative questioner. She famously converted to Islam not too long ago after years of being very much a restless and troubled soul, and she seemed to have found peace until her son died. She was always a rebel, almost certainly a leftist (of the traditional “question authority” sort) but at least not an in-crowd celebrity sheep.
Not sure about that. I never listened to her music. I figured she was Madonna-light but since those celeb types never interested me I don't know much about them. I remember hearing she had converted to Islam and changed her name which is about all I know about her.
Her first album was one of the best of the 80's and her second album was one of the best of the 90's. She was musically leaps and bounds above Madonna, the two are nothing a like. Sinead had an ALLTIME voice and was much closer to postpunk than she was to pop. My favorite song by her is Jump in the River and Drown which was featured on the brilliant Married to the Mob Soundtrack. I suggest giving it a listen before comparing her to Madonna (who to be fair is also talented) again.
Reading deeper into the matter, seems she has been fighting depression a long time, even more after her son committed suicide last year. It's beginning to appear that she took her own life.
It wasn't a picture of God (pretty sure he hasn't posted any selfies), she ripped up a picture of the Catholic Pope in protest of the child sexual abuse scandals.
It would be interesting to see if she was under the care of a medical professional who prescribed antidepressants. Those things will make you have suicidal thoughts.
My sister and I are so saddened about her passing. We feel so bad about her 17-year-old son’s “suicide” too. We’ve been major fans of her kickass music since the early 90s. Beautiful Sinead has been calling out the corruption of the Catholic Church for years. I wonder if she was murdered. Prayers to her other 3 children and entire family. How devastating.
She had a wonderful voice. I especially liked the song "Back Where You Belong". It was the theme song for the wonderful movie "The Water Horse". Despite her sudden rise to fame, Sinead O'Connor was a troubled woman, and may have suffered from depression and bipolarism. O'Connor seemed to me as being troubled by unseen spirits. She was persecuted for her outspoken views on Catholicism and paid the price dearly. Instead of reconciliation she was driven further into craziness and converted to Islam. RIP.
RIP to a brave irish woman. Ireland is a hotspot for catholic abuse of kids. She scared the living shit out of the worldwide mafia, and celebrities became much more 'managed' after her, to the detriment of art and free speech.
She did the opening theme this season for the Outlander series. It is a beautiful rendition of the Skye Song. Yes, I still watch the Outlander series because I love the books and Diane Gabaldon has made sure that all of it has stayed true to history. Maybe that is why they are being attacked by the left.
So sad! She was one of the first voices to publicly call out the corruption of the Catholic Church, and she paid a big price for her courage and outspokenness—basically becoming a persona non grata for speaking the truth. She also recently lost her son to suicide. Very tragic. A great Irish rock star with a fantastic voice—like Dolores O’Riordan of The Cranberries who also died tragically young. Two of her classics, ‘Mandinka’ and ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’ are among my favorite songs! RIP
A song that most of you have "Never Heard Of" - featuring Miss O'Connor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRKvWzucFPA This is off an album called "MIND BOMB" / artist - The The. This song / album , was produced in 1989
If you appreciate this song ! check out this album. Matt Johnson was waaaaay ahead of his years as a "ANON" ! and calls it profusely on this Masterpiece of musicianship. Sinead's voice is absolutely stunning.
My best guess is it was most likely slef-inflicted. She had been battling with mental health for a while. Lost her son a few years back too. All to sad. May she rest in peace.
Such sad news. I never knew much about O'Connor when she came on the scene (busy life) and only heard about what was in the pages of the tabloids. I can't recall hearing of any of her music. I haven't thought of her in decades. She was only half a year older than my wife, so it seems close to me despite its distance.
ThanQ for sharing! I forgot about that. I wonder if her son was murdered and/or if she was murdered. It’s all so sad. If she did commit suicide, she was in fact murdered as the demons on the astral level force some people to take their own lives.
Stickied for most likely not due to the Vaxx Anons. If you’ve followed her, you’d know she was a troubled woman, with some possible mental health family history. Her passing is a more genuine sad passing of a talented but troubled musician.
She was diagnosed with PTSD and bipolar disorder and a couple of others.
Her mother was not well and abused her.
Probably why the emotions in her beautiful voice were so authentic. This authenticity must have been what brought her to fame. Your troubles are now over, Sinéad. Rest in peace.
She was pretty pissed at the pope awhile ago
Rightly so. Pretty much ruined her career. That was a shame.
all by design...that's why they made her out to be 'crazy'...she spoke up too much and raised questions by her actions..
I hope her story is told someday.
Absolutely...🙏🏻
just like the world thinks Chester and Chris hung themselves...used their 'troubles' as a front to not raise any questions or doubt...
Thanks for the context fren
She lost her son to suicide about a year ago. He was 17. Her last post was very despondent. She has also had suicidal comments in her past. A beautiful, strong, clear Irish voice. Such a tragedy especially for her 3 surviving children.
This I have heard, though I don't follow her
Her call out of the rot in the Catholic church sticks in my mind
I remember watching that live. And I'm ashamed to say that I was still deep in slumber and was APPALLED that she disrespected a Christian man. I know, my eyes are rolled up into my own head too.
it's okay, we didn't want to know these things back then. She had courage.
Right there with you. Didn't know then what I know now. My family are all Roman Catholic. I left that church in my late teens, but still found it appalling at the time.
Curious whether you left only the catholic church, or that also caused you to give up your faith in Jesus Christ as your savior as well.
I believe satan is at work in many many churches, attempting to pollute our personal relationship with Jesus.
Left the church, have never given up Jesus Christ. In fact my life and spiritual well being is much better now, and has been for many years. It's been quite a journey, and not an easy one, but my faith in Christ is stronger than ever.
Praise God.
I did the same. I was horrified like all the other sheep at the time.
And she was right.
Errr…me too.
Err meeee threee.
She had problems with sanity especially after losing her child ... but that does not mean she was wrong.
Same here, now I know. She was waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy ahead of the curve on that one.
She tried to tell us. We were all dumb and blind back then. If that were her only accomplishment (but it’s not) then Godspeed Ms O’Connor.
That SNL Live episode will not be forgotten!
Doing the sign of the cross also inverts the cross. It’s also unnecessary.
think they probably sent her to la la land for naming them :(
It's sad to see her not getting the respect she deserves here. I don't care about anything she did before or after this.

I’m pretty sure that was the Bob Dylan anniversary show. She eventually recited the words from Bob Marley’s song “War” and left the stage
Ahh, that's it. It was quite a while ago so I had forgotten. Thanks for the reminder.
ive never heard anything bad about Kris. He seems like a good dude.
Psalm 91 is Powerful....pray it over yourself every day frens! 🙏🙌
RIP Sinead, strong woman.
A Lioness in the Cobra pit.
A real one. Trouble. Troubling. But surely a soldier.
That album is actually pretty decent as far as 80s alt pop goes.
So beautiful that she shaved her head and still looked so beautiful! What a face! What a voice! Such kickass style too!
R.I.P. S(k)in(h)ead
:)
When a woman shaves her head or otherwise destroys her appearance, it is very often a reaction to sexual abuse. I often think of this when seeing the pictures of some leftist women.
Or gains a lot of weight. She hides within the protection of fat because no man would want to touch a fat chick.
Fat becomes a solution rather than the problem in these cases.
This is not to state that all fat chicks have been abused, but some have been.
Interesting theory
Not so much to hide but to give oneself substance, the abuse is humiliating, says she's worthless, insubstantial.
Interesting perspective. It's a flip of how I've been seeing this.
Usually in a sexual abuse situation, say the moms boyfriend with the daughter, the daughter will make herself unattractive. Weight gain, unwashed face - pimply and greasy hair, etc.

I will ponder. Ty.
It's also a reaction to feminism.

100% my first hint behind the curtain as a kid.
Well in that case she can fuck off
Kek, wtf, lmao, and shame on you all rolled into one bro. Also an updoot 😂
She no longer went by O'Connor. She converted to Islam in 2018 and legally changed her name to Shuhada' Sadaqat.
Wasn’t she basically a cabal commie pusher?
Very much a free thinker and narrative questioner. She famously converted to Islam not too long ago after years of being very much a restless and troubled soul, and she seemed to have found peace until her son died. She was always a rebel, almost certainly a leftist (of the traditional “question authority” sort) but at least not an in-crowd celebrity sheep.
Except for covid, vaccines, and masks which she would never question the authorities and may have cost her her life
Not sure about that. I never listened to her music. I figured she was Madonna-light but since those celeb types never interested me I don't know much about them. I remember hearing she had converted to Islam and changed her name which is about all I know about her.

Yeah, that fucking sucks. Fuck everyone is ruined.
Wow, I had no clue.....crazy!
Have to wonder if it is the vax that killed her.
I wonder exactly that EVERY time someone dies.
Yeah, Its hard not to...
Especially since 2021
Reading deeper into the matter, seems she has been fighting depression a long time, even more after her son committed suicide last year. It's beginning to appear that she took her own life.
It does make sense because she did tear up the then "face of god" on SNL and uttered "fight the real power." Sadly, the real power got her.
God will not be mocked.
It wasn't a picture of God (pretty sure he hasn't posted any selfies), she ripped up a picture of the Catholic Pope in protest of the child sexual abuse scandals.
It would be interesting to see if she was under the care of a medical professional who prescribed antidepressants. Those things will make you have suicidal thoughts.
actually, they are much more insideous than that.
before pills, you feel like killing yourself but are just too unmotivated to get the job done.
after pills, you feel like killing yourself, and have a great attitude about getting on with it.
A year after her son's suicide
https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/sinead-oconnor-son-found-dead-after-going-missing-1235016869/
Or a year after her son WAS suicided!
I bet he was suicided!
Yep, and she died of a broken heart or killed herself.
It’s so upsetting. I feel horrible for her other 3 children.
She had a total of four kids. Yikes.
God bless your soul and keep you, Sinead. Rest in Peace. You did your best to warn the world, and made it easier to accept the truth for some.
Or it was the deep state suiciding loved ones to force obedience.
They all have the same look… Nobody’s home
Nothing Compared to Her. RIP
😢 So true! She was such an individualist.
I hated This "Bitch" when she tore up the Pope's photo on SNL. Now with hindsight, she was 100% correct, and I was so wrong about her.
Weird, I thought she died many years ago. I feel like I'm having a Mandela effect moment.
I think you might be remembering the lead singer of The Cranberries. She is a similar sort of person......
I remember her dying too though.
My wife said the same thing to me this morning “I thought she was already dead?”
RIP.
Her rendition of Danny Boy will touch your heart. Her voice was haunted with sadness, even back then.
She knew back then and people wouldn't listen, rest in peace lady.
RIP to a brave irish woman. Ireland is a hotspot for catholic abuse of kids. She scared the living shit out of the worldwide mafia, and celebrities became much more 'managed' after her, to the detriment of art and free speech.

I’m going with suicide. I read about her upbringing, had a sadistic mother. RIP.
Here's a video of her ripping up the picture of the pope. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGFj1WClin4
While she was not my favorite, I really enjoyed much of her music!
R.I.P.
Edit to add: It scares me a little, that she was younger than me...
Sooo….cause of death?
A song that most of you have "Never Heard Of" - featuring Miss O'Connor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRKvWzucFPA This is off an album called "MIND BOMB" / artist - The The. Vax or suicide weekend?
My best guess is it was most likely slef-inflicted. She had been battling with mental health for a while. Lost her son a few years back too. All to sad. May she rest in peace.
Such sad news. I never knew much about O'Connor when she came on the scene (busy life) and only heard about what was in the pages of the tabloids. I can't recall hearing of any of her music. Did the bastards get her down?

ThanQ for sharing! I forgot about that. I wonder if her son was murdered and/or if she was murdered. It’s all so sad. If she did commit suicide, she was in fact murdered as the demons on the astral level force some people to take their own lives.
