We got duped into thinking fats are bad and sugar is good. The thing is, is that it is completely false. Why do they push sugar into everything? Do parasites thrive in a host that has high levels of sugar. The more truth that is revealed is going to shock a big portion of people. I think parasites are the problem to everything regarding our health. No wonder we never get a yearly de-wormer or anti-parasitic, but all other animals do. Things that make you go hnmmm. Just my opinion so take with a grain of salt.
For a while after you consume sugary products for a significant period of time, you are not tasting quite authentically either.
If you spent, say, a month in ketosis, things taste a lot better. And when you go back to sugar, it tastes spectacular, which evokes an interest in having more of it.
We do have a boat load of alternative sweeteners now that come close, but a lot of them (Stevia, Ace-K) have really iffy aftertastes, and not all of them work the same in cooking (Allulose used as an alternative to sugar for caramel, but other sweeteners like Erythritol don't, Erythritol is good for ice cream but it makes it hard whereas monk fruit or otherwise may make it softer, etc.)
Sugar is legitimately addictive and destructive to your body in many ways, but in reality it's not even strictly sugar doing this.
It's high fructose corn syrup, the true culinary culprit to the rise in diabetes.
Used in too many things, extremely concentrated empty carbs. Your body hates that shit.
Coming off ketosis, I would say it doesn’t taste fantastic but rather way overbearing and sickeningly sweet. You definitely get a sense of sugar poisoning and things like chocolate are disgustingly sweet.
Indeed, and my experience is that the more you place yourself in a state where you burn ketones, the stronger your desire for sugar ramps up exponentially. I always break my keto fasts with natural sugar, for example. My desire for it is staggering.
I'm the opposite, after I cut my sugar consumption way down and did the keto thing, I no longer craved sugar like I once did. I now crave fatty meat and vegetables. If I do eat a sugary thing, it gives me a sour stomach as if I drank alcohol (I quit that too) and I swear not to eat that stuff again. I will have bread once in a great while and that is it as far as grain carbs.
My break fast comprises banana based smoothies, preferably sweet, ripe banana. Of note: I am not an excessive sugar eater. I just crave sugar after fasting.
Coming from Europe where high fructose corn syrup hasn't invaded our food chain like it has in the states I can definitely taste it in the food in America.
I can attest to that. Took a lot of mindfulness to work on this. Even now when I am upset or unhappy I have a lot of craving for sugar, but when I am calm and collected I dont even care for it.
Hijacking your comment to tell everyone about GYMNENA SYLVESTRE.
Called the Sugar Dedtroyer in ayurvedic medicine. Many people report a chamge ihe taste of seeet things so that they're not as satisfying. Many also report a reduced or eliminated craving for it.
Edit: and SYTRINOL for cholesterol and triglycerides. You can eat that red meat!
So does Candida Albicans, a common and necessary fungus in our digestive systems that can get out of hand and infect blood and organs if not kept in balance. It feeds on excess sugar consumption.
There's some evidence that pathogenic fungus is also correlated with certain cancers
From personal anecdotal experience, once one has a candida overgrowth ALL carbohydrates have to be eliminated from the diet. Sugar is #1 on the list, followed by bread, pasta, potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkins and even legumes. Even fruit and honey. ALL. This is a new lifestyle, not just a six-week purge or something, because the fungus will burst into action if you consume a baked potato, even after a lengthy period of being good. Stupid doctors will prescribe antifungal drugs, which work only as long as you are taking them. Good for a jump start, but then they advise you to eat WHOLE GRAINS, fruits and vegetables. Trust me, such uninformed eating does not work.
I'm going through this now and can empathize. Took years to figure out what was going on, all the while getting progressively worse. Magnesium bicarbonate has been really helpful as well.
Agreed. It's just that some people make a silly distinction, saying, for example, that potato is healthy sugar, and corn syrup is not. Of course, eating potato or fruit is eating sugar as far as the body is concerned.
I agree with you, the more I learn about parasites, the more it seems they are the root of all/most diseases and the cabal wants us all full of parasites so we are riddled with disease and feed the medical industrial complex.
What is the only macronutrient that can be completely eliminated from the human diet?
For me personally, intermittent fasting and eating primarily meat, eggs, and some dairy has worked wonders. Most people would call that extreme I suppose, but it is closer to what our ancestors would have been eating 3-4 generations ago.
We actually consume a LOT more animal products today than our ancestors did.
But, in general, we should strive to balance our diet. Going to either extreme will result in being less healthy than eating what our bodies are designed to eat (both animals and plants).
A few things to note:
Each person is different, and so their diet is going to be a bit different. Our bodies will tell us what it needs if we learn how to listen.
Meat eaters tend to eat too much protein and vegetable eaters tend to eat too little. The average male needs around 100g of protein a day (more/less depending on activity and body mass -- and less for women). As a rule of thumb, it's a good idea to strive for half of our protein intake to be from plant sources, and half from animal sources. Of course, this is easier said than done, and some will prefer to err on one side or the other (for me personally, I tend to lean more towards animal products than vegetables, while my wife, vegetables). Also, if you're like me, you may forget to eat enough fish. Fish is extremely healthy, especially fatty fish like salmon. If you find yourself eating a bit too much red meat, the Christian tradition of no meat on Fridays (and eating primarily fish) may be a good routine for you.
STOP EATING CHICKEN. Seriously. I know, it's delicious. And getting hot wings every now and again won't kill you, but the hormones in chicken (and other fowl) are extremely similar to the hormones in humans. So whether or not a chicken has been treated with artificial hormones (which DEFINITELY stay away from), their natural hormones can be absorbed by our bodies. Additionally, since we only eat the hens, we are primarily getting female hormones. But this brings me to another issue:
Most of the animals we consume are the FEMALE of the species, and when they're not, the males are castrated from an early age. A balanced diet means BALANCE in all things. Eating only the females is an imbalance. Try to find wild boar meat, or any other wild male animal meat. Or, if you're lucky enough to live near one of the few pig farms in the US that raise both males and females without castrating the males, buy from them (there is one I know of in Colorado).
The fruit we have available today is extremely high in sugar compared to what it was even 300 years ago. Carbs are good for you, but you want to focus on COMPLEX CARBS over simple carbs, and stay away from too much sugary fruit and refined sugar. Think of fruit as a treat, and moderate appropriately. There are many benefits to fresh and dried fruits, but plenty of problems can occur with too much.
Avoid seed (sunflower, canola/rapeseed) and vegetable oils. In general, fats that are a part of the food you're eating will be better for you, but pork lard, butter, olive oil, will generally still be better choices than, for example, corn oil.
Bake your own bread. If you are a bread-eater (I try to avoid it for weight loss), find sprouted whole-grain flour and make it yourself. Store-bought breads are highly refined, and often made with vegetable and seed oils, or lots of refined sugar. Grains are not the enemy, but the refined store-bought foods are.
The produce we buy in stores is generally not very fresh. Frozen and even canned produce can contain nutrients that "fresh" market produce won't have. Generally, it shouldn't make a huge difference, but if you happen to have symptoms of a lack of particular nutrients, do cross reference what you're lacking with the decomposition process of the produce you're eating, because you may be eating the right foods and still not getting the right nutrients.
And as mentioned by others, do not underestimate how important Vitamin D from sunlight is. If you supplement dietary vitamin D for boosting your immune system, make sure it's mixed with an oil, because D is oil soluble. There are many cheaper D supplements that are pointless to take because your body can't absorb it. I keep a bottle of D-fortified cod liver-oil pills around.
But again, everything in moderation. Stopping for a cinnabon every once in a while isn't going to kill you if you're eating healthy generally. Treats can be treats; the problem is when a treat becomes breakfast, or lunch, or daily post-dinner routines.
I’m thinking more until before common grocery stores in the western part of the world of the non elite class. Middle Ages to pre-industrial era.
You would own livestock. But if you have a flock of chickens, you don’t kill and eat one everyday. That was a luxury. You keep them and harvest eggs. Cows were for milk. Slaughtering a cow would have been a major luxury.
Yes you could hunt for fowl, rabbit, deer but unlikely to eat that everyday (edit: especially if the King’s forest was off limits). Grains, potatoes, corn (and rice) were subsistence foods.
Depends how far back you go. During much of civilization, people managed to barely survive on grains. As hunter-gatherers, we ate low sugar, high fiber pre-domesticated foraged plants and MEAT. The body needs fiber and MEAT. We can survive on grains, but we don't thrive on them. Domestication has made plants taste better, but not necessarily made them healthier.
The idea of early man as a hunter-gatherer is a myth. The earliest archeological digs show no signs of plant foods. Back then, the "foods" we think of as plant foods today did not exist. They have all been gentically selected over a long period of time to make them more palatable to humans.
Humans were hunters. They may have started out as scavengers, but they soon became hunters. Humans did not eat much of any plant foods until it became necessary, around 10,000-20,000 years ago, when the big animals were killed off -- and the interglacial period of the current ice age began.
Fast forward to ancient Egypt (5,000 years ago), and they ate a lot of bread. They also have the worst teeth of any people examined. Plant foods rot the human teeth, due to the sugar.
When Weston Price traveled the world looking at the diets of primitive people, about 100 years ago, he was hoping to find vegetarians in great health, because he was a vegetarian and he thought it was a healthy diet.
Instead, he found no vegetarians at all, and in every case, the people who ate the most meat were by far the healthiest.
I remember reading about a tribe that tried to eat only grains. It was some sort of bread they were making. They almost all died out, until they started adding milk.
That's just how it is. Our stomach and digestive track is all geared towards eating meat, but with the added ability to get by on plants if necessary. But we are primarily meat eaters.
Also, fruit isn't necessarily bad for you either and shouldn't be treated as exclusively a treat.
Melons of various kinds for example are high in water and good for hydration as well as filling your stomach.
Limes and lemons, despite being pretty sweet in terms of smell and flavor, are actually considered keto friendly because of their low carb content. Very good to add some freshly squeezed juice into the mix.
Oranges are much more sweet, as are blood oranges.
Nuts are also very good for you, but moderation is important. They're high in fats and therefore calories, and their carbs add up fast.
It does absolutely depend how far back you go. But I don't believe the modern "scientific" belief that all of humanity were cave-dwelling Neanderthals 10,000 years ago, especially since there is vast archaeological data that suggests advanced civilized nations more than a hundred thousand years ago, who were presumably cultivating grains. (I would argue there is substantial evidence that humanity, and event he Earth is much, much older than is currently believed).
But it would follow then, that one's genetic lineage can also be an important factor in diet.
Either way, I agree with you. And while grains do provide some nutrients, they are not for everyone, and certainly not as critical as animal products (meat, dairy, fish, eggs), nor as greens. Obviously veganism/vegetarianism is foolish from even just a nutritional point of view, but so is the opposite extreme of exclusively eating animal products.
Vegetarianism isn't foolish in regards to nutrition.
You can still get dairy, you can still have eggs, and you can increase proteins via cheeses, protein rich vegetables such as edamame, etc.
Veganism is the diet that's truly silly. You are missing out on a lot of important nutrients. Not eating a product of an animal is way sillier than choosing not to eat an animal. Milk is meant to be consumed.
'Protein Rich' vegetables. They are protein rich on paper, but in practice, you have to eat large volumes of them to get enough nutrition. Give me a steak. F*ck off with your three plates of broccoli. Barf me out.
I whole-heartedly agree, that dairy, especially milk should be consumed liberally. But it is not a substitute for meat. The reason I say vegetarianism foolish is because is because it accomplishes nothing while depriving our bodies from great sources of nutrients. MOST (not all) can be obtained from non-meat animal products (especially eggs), but not always as efficiently. I'll repeat: balance is key.
Our bodies are designed to sustain from both plants and animals. I will concede that western society in the last 150 years has perhaps indulged too much when it comes to meat, to the point where we now serve meat as side dishes to meat. Meat can definitely be reduced (especially since it's generally more expensive) and supplemented with non-meat animal products, but it would be wise for most people to have at least one serving of red meat a day (on average). And don't forget the fish!
But in the end, it's that life must consume life. Plants are just as alive as any animal, and the wise would say even the minerals of the earth are tingling with life -- nothing is without it. It is good to be mindful of the life we consume, plant or animal, but to abstain from one as a false 'moral' decision based on the idea that because animals are more evolved than plants it is wrong to eat them, is unwise.
Our bodies are designed to sustain from both plants and animals.
Actually, technically they’re not. We don’t possess the bacteria that breaks down cellulose, such as a gorilla. Our digestive tracts most closely mirror a wolves- with one exception: we have an appendix.
Not being able to digest fiber is precisely why we eat it.
You are correct that we don't need fiber. We certainly won't die without it. And too much can easily be problematic. But most people prefer to eat it because it promotes good intestinal health and can keep you regular if you struggle with that.
An important distinction should be made, however, that it is INSOLUBLE FIBER that can be beneficial to a diet. Soluble fiber is not very good, and while large amounts can act as a laxative, it is not particularly good for intestinal health.
INSOLUBLE FIBER means plant refuse from vegetables, nuts, etc., not the water-soluble "fiber" that is advertised in cereals and used in stool softeners in high quantities.
That’s a common misconception. Fiber actually constipates people. It’s indigestible and irritates the delicate lining of the intestines. Would you eat sticks and rocks? They’re also indigestible.
Benefits from eating fibrous vegetables upon digestion is probably a confusion with their water content. If you eat sticky or dry foods then having something with water that can’t be digested is probably going to assist excavation. Raw meat happens to have high water content and is like a gentle massage going down the intestinal track. Eat a pound of raw fish / sashimi / poke and see what a perfect stool looks and feels like.
Meat and fat are also highly assimilable and most gets absorbed in the small intestines.
The body produces large quantities of bile because much of it is expected to be absorbed by fiber and passed. If you don't get fiber, you'll reabsorb too much bile and this results in high cholesterol.
The irritation that fiber causes is minor. Pineapple irritates the mouth but eating small amounts isn't a big deal. Fiber is far less irritating but servers a number of useful functions, like absorbing bile and helping to clear out the intestines to keep anything from lingering too long.
Raw grassfed steak raw eggs and maybe once in a blue moon some raw fruit or cooked vegetable soup. This will lead to extreme levels of well being and health.
Yep, people dont understand this at all. The go on crazy diets, no this, no that, its just crazy. If you just eat everything in moderation you can be quite healthy.
Cut down on anything thats processed and refined (especially sugars) and you will be fine.
But if you are obese, diabetic, or have any chronic nutritional issues, it is unwise to start intermittent/fasting without consulting a doctor or nutritionist. You should be monitored, because you can do severe damage to your gallbladder and kidneys if you are careless.
Otherwise, intermittent fasting is one of the best methods for weight loss (unless you are extremely disciplined and are very good at reducing calories in a normal, balanced diet -- I am not). And 3-5 day fasts are great to do on occasion to reset your diet and cravings. But again, obese, diabetic, etc., should consult their doctor/nutritionist first.
from what I've seen and researched it's a multifaceted issue. Sugar as many have identified but also low quality fats like vegetable oils and low quality carbs, as well as a sedentary lifestyle that doesn't make use of the carbs as an immediate energy source. And all of these things are in HUGE abundance everywhere, it's no wonder we've gotten fat and sick as a society cuz these damn things are combined in so many foods and they are fucking EVERYWHERE. Huge portion sizes too.
dose is the poison. sugar, low quality oils, low quality carbs, lack of activity
cut back heavily on the sugar
avoid garbage cooking oils like vegetable oil and its many seed based derivatives - stick with butter, beef tallow, coconut oil, olive oil and other oils extracted from the flesh of stuff
carbs. problem is twofold, abundance in so many dishes and not actually using them. if you train and do alot of physical activity they are a beneficial source of energy and restock muscle glycogen stores, but pack on the body fat when you eat a crapton and don't make use of them. not to mention the abundance of junk carb sources in american foods that combine the sugars and low quality oils mentioned before.
Start by balancing your proteins, fats and carbs and eating them every 3-4 hours and you'll be off to a good start. Just make sure these 3 macros are healthy and not overly processed crap.
Nope. Some things have to be eliminated. What is moderation when it comes to sugar? Most people think that they don't eat very much, without realising that they are feeding their cancer or candida. Even ONE orange is too much sugar, for me.
Nonsense. We should not be drinking a moderate amount of gasoline. The nutritional value of the food matters a lot. You can absolutely stuff yourself with healthy food every day and be in excellent health. If you eat garbage, even in small amounts, you will be less healthy. Anti-nutrients, toxins, and poisons are much more effective in smaller amounts than nutritional foods.
Your brain is half fat, half cholesterol. Knowing that, you think you need those? Yes.
I just had a long talk with my grandma this morning cause she keeps trying to take this damn cholesterol medication that her doctor put her on after she had a stroke a year ago. I tried to explain to her, and she is awake to most of what is happening around us; more so than some of my other family members, but its SO ingrained in her to be able to trust her doctor and that pharma pills aren't bad, and she needs it.
Its REALLY frustrating. Animal products are AWESOME for the body, plant products, not good at all for the body. That is why they are pushing this vegan bullshit agenda, and trying to destroy all the meat.
The older you are, the higher your cholesterol should be, as well as your blood pressure. Obviously not overly high but should be higher than a younger person cause your body is old, works differently. When you pill up old people and take away vital nutrients they get all stupid and their brains don't work and they die.
Pisses me off to no ends too friend.
I have studied health for over 15 years and I know more about this shit than her doctor does, but she doesn't trust me over her doctor, cause I didn't go to school and get schooled by big pharma.
Fruits and vegetables are not nearly as good for you as many people claim.
They are actually LOW in nutrients ... for HUMANS. The key is not the amount of something in them. The key is the BIOAVAILABILITY of that something for HUMANS. Nobody ever talks about this.
For example, soy has the highest protein of any plant food. But, only about 5% of that protein is absorbed by the human body to utilize. Egg protein is 98% absorbed. On top of that, soy and all other plants are missing essential amino acids. ALL plant foods are missing aminio acids, and what they have are in the wrong proportions for humans. Eggs and ALL animal foods have ALL the essential amino acids, and they are in the right proportions for humans.
Our stomachs are the most acidic of any mammal, at 1.5 ph level. Our stomachs are designed to break up proteins and fats, not carbohydrates. We have ZERO bacteria in our stomachs, unlike cows who have billions of bacteria in the first chamber of their stomachs. Bacteria are the ONLY thing on planet Earth that can digest cellulose. Our bacteria for this are in our colon -- at the END of our digestive system, not the beginning.
Vitamin A - There are NO plant foods with Vitamin A. A few have beta carotene, and some people can covert some of it to Vit. A, but not everyone can, and it is not efficient.
Vitamin B complex - Plants do not have B12.
Vitamin C - Meat is thought to have no Vit. C, but that is because they never tested for it back when all those charts were created. It turns out, meat does have some.
Vitamin D - This was misidentified when it was discovered. It is not a vitamin. It is a hormone. Our bodies use sunlight to convert cholesterol to Vit. D. Plants do not have animal hormones.
Iron - Spinach has the most iron of any plant food. But it is the wrong kind for humans. It is non-heme iron, which is not easily absorbed by humans. Beef has heme iron, which is the right kind. You have to eat 10 cups of spinach to get the same amount of iron absorbed as if you eat 3 ounces of beef.
Zinc - Oysters have the most zinc of any food. But if you eat those oysters with corn and beans, the anti-nutrients in the corn and beans will block the absorption of any of that zinc.
There has NEVER been a study that showed that vegetables are actually healthy for you. For an interesting lecture on this, check out Dr. Georgia Eads:
Animal product diet aka carnivore works wonders for me! So many foods are anti-nutrients too. Raw spinich actually ends up working against the body. They push spinich so hard! Such liars!
My husband and I love carnivore way of eating. Unfortunately we’ve had to adjust things in the last couple months due to money. Prices are outrageous and it gets to be difficult to eat just eggs and hamburgers. There’s been other factors also disrupting our lives. We’re working to get back on track again because we felt fantastic and loved the simplicity of it.
So true! The ds really wants us to be malnourished and the inflation they are causing is only working towards that goal. I hope you both are able to continue on the carnivore diet and have great health
Periodic fasting is also VERY important for health and longevity. If you're not familiar with water fasting for 3-5+ days I would highly recommend doing some research about it and start incorporating it into your lifestyle.
Water (only) fasting is the best thing, bar none, that I have ever done for my health. I usually do a 7-10 day water (only) fast every quarter. In between I intermittent fast (16/8) daily.
You need carbohydrates to start the pyruvic acid cycle that metabolizes your nutrients into your biochemistry. Without it, you will lose tons of weight because your body isn't using any of your other food.
No they actually are not. Ill give you one example you can look into and start if you want to look more into it.
A lot of plants emit toxins when they are cut or damaged in some way, its actually a defense mechanism that many plants actually have.
I looked into this at one point cause I was doing a diet of basically 3 oz of meat, a lot of veggies, and I was doing a lot of juicing (thinking this was how I loose weight).
During that time I suffered from calcium kidney stones 3 times over the course of 1 year. My husband (boyfriend at the time) told me to stop drinking the juice cause that is what was causing them, I thought he was crazy till I did a little digging.
You also loose a ton of weight on just veggies cause your starving your body of any actual nutrients it needs. Thats why most real vegans look like skeletons. The ones that are fat eat nothing but sugar and sweets.
Just look up vegan videos on youtube, some of them are seriously scary looking.
Juicing is bad for you, not eating fruits and vegetables. How many apples can you eat in one sitting? Now guess how many apples it takes to make apple juice. Juicing also tends to remove the pulp, which has a purpose of slowing down the uptake of sugar into the bloodstream.
It probably depends on where you are deficient or damaged. It’s important to get key nutrients.
I’m by no means vegan. I love an appropriate amount of meat and fat. I get the fattiest meat I can get. I love bacon.
But in college when I was eating mostly meat and carbs, low fruit and veggie I was not as well. Had sensitive stomach problems. I am more careful with where my meat and carbs come from though now. Cured my lactose intolerance I got then.
I am healthier with a balance of aromatics, fruits, and more veggies. I personally like spinach, arugula, avocados, okra, broccoli, ginger, brussel sprouts, turmeric, shallots, garlic, mushrooms, bok choy, celery, cilantro, parsley, green onions, berries, peaches, pears, and recently radish leaves.
Correct. Walk into any supermarket. You start off in the produce section.
Almost NONE of those fruits and vegetables are the way they were 100,000 years ago. They have all been genetically selected over many generations to be bigger, jucier, more sugary, etc.
Carrots were originally white. The Dutch experimented with different colors -- white, purple, and orange. The orange ones were the most popular, so that is why we have orange carrots today.
This is how we can know that early man ate very little, if any, plant foods. There wasn't anything worth eating. And don't even talk about the amount of energy from those original foods -- not worth even talking about compared to a nice mastadon kill.
Almost NONE of those fruits and vegetables are the way they were 100,000 years ago.
Isn't that a statement you could equally apply to virtually all meat products we eat today? I just ate a bison burger so this is on my mind at the moment!
You have to seek out sources to get meat that isn't terribly 'modified' (pork has been 'refined' in recent times to make it more 'lean', as an obvious example). But even the less 'refined' meats of today are still nothing like they were hundreds, let alone hundreds of thousands, of years ago.
There is also something called The Gerson Therapy. Which is a juice/plant diet for curing cancer and all other sorts of "incurable" diseases. Been around since the 1930s curing shit. However they have ONE animal product in that plan and its liver supplements. When you starve the body of sugar, you starve the cancer and other things of its food source to survive. Not a lot of fruit in that diet. But again, look up vegans and look at how malnourished they get.
Food has changed over the years which is probably another reason it fucks us up. With the use of genetically modified plants its hard to get away from. Maybe this is why it fucks our bodies up so much? I just know eating no animal products will destroy your body.
I think it’s important to stay away from gmo, pesticides, herbicides etc. The plants are sprayed with chemicals and water with heavy metals and fluoride. Meat has problems too like antibiotic injecting and wrong feed. This is why it’s very important how you source your food. Allergies or sensitivity usually isn’t the food but something bad they’ve done to it. I try buy organic or companies against these practices.
I wonder if the vegans are suffering from a kind of poisoning. But I’ve heard if you go vegetarian you have to eat every 4 hours, because you need to eat a lot more if you are just eating plants. Think how cows must graze all day to eat enough.
For me a tasty, balanced, and filling healthy meal is something like pork, mushrooms, onions, sweet potatoes sautéed in butter/fat with spices over a bed of fresh greens.
I think plants help people with problems because they were likely eating dead food. Processed, preserved etc. I think raw fresh nutrients helps those people.
But what do you think of eating a portion of meal with one third veggies like lettuce, tomatoes, beetroots, radish etc, all raw, and one third meat and one third carbs ?
Fiber is defined as that part of the plant that is ... NOT DIGESTIBLE.
All that fiber goes through you digestive tract and causes abrasions that are harmful.
You do not need ANY fiber in your diet. That is a myth.
There is no nutrition in lettuce or radishes. Tomatos might have a little, and beets have something in them that convert to nitric oxide, which is good.
I think my understanding was that the flora that thrive on fiber are the ones most symbiotic with our systems, but it would be very interesting to know if our gut Flora can produce any nutrients.
I know they can produce some hormones, but I wonder if they could possibly produce nutrients depending on what they can feed on.
I have lived my life in stretches eating high fiber food and other stretches eating very low fiber food. Trust me when I say you need non digestible fiber.
I would agree with you. At the very minimum, high fiber helps avoid constipation. Some people are lucky in that they don't get constipation without fiber, but fiber is really helpful to most.
rather than nutrients, you mostly lose alot of weight eating only veggies or fruits because they are almost completely devoid of calories. You could eat and entire barrel full of veggies and it would probably have less calories than a single steak.
I've been on the meat / zero carb / carnivore diet and have done well with it.
But not all plant products are "not good at all for the body." Look at broccoli sprouts and sulforaphane. Some chilren with autism who have the fever shock response can be relieved of autistic symptoms when on this supplement.
What I know about Autism, its essentially brain damage. It is also made worse by the destruction of the gut. Diets have a HUGE impact (from my research) on autism. Fix the gut and you can fix a lot of behavior problems associated with autism. I know doctors that have taken children that were non verbal and couldn't walk and just by changing their diet and adding real nutrition the body can absorb. Those children are now walking and talking again. I also know you have to reverse the damage early. If you wait to long it won't happen once the body is grown. I guess eating veggies is better than eating a bunch of sugar, but its just cause your feeding yourself empty food with almost no nutritional value. One thing most people don't mention is that your body has to be able to break things down and absorb them. Certain things that are found in animal products are essential to life and cannot be found in fruits and veggies. You can't sustain yourself on just fruit and veggies, but you can on animal products.
I have a child with autism that becomes a normal person once she's on amoxicillin. 5 days later the autism comes right back. I've been trying to figure it out why for years. We thought it was motrin. They call it fever shock. There was a study conducted a few years ago, which various websites try to label as insufficient evidence, that sulforaphane produced this same response and about 37% of participants were free of autistic behavior while on the supplement.
Sulforaphane comes from cruciferous vegetables. The biggest one is broccoli sprouts which contain 1-400 times as much as others. This can be bought in a supplement like quercetin. I have not given it to my child yet, I just started researching it.
See FoundMyFitness Dr. Rhonda Patrick, she has a youtube channel which I'm going through slowly.
My family member has had heart issues and her doctor has advised her to remove all salt from her diet. It’s complete nonsense! Our bodies NEED salt to survive. This doesn’t take a smart person to understand. How do doctors continue to get away with pushing all these lies?
I dropped my LDL from 189 to 46 in 40 days on a Daniel Fast.
Fruits, vegetables, and nuts for 40 days. And then I switched to a super high fat diet, my ancestral diet is tons of cheese, butter, fish, and occasional fatty meats. And my LDL went down further to 40 and my HDL is increasing as well.
Doctors still advise against consumption of "too much", but Asian cultures are very sodium rich. Noodles tend to have a lot of salt added, either in broth, fermentation or otherwise. Fish is often salted too.
Yet Asians are some of the longest living humans. Why is that, if it were as simple as salt consumption causing high blood pressure or heart problems?
I believe it is just bad science / a correlation or causation problem.
People eat processed foods.
Processed foods are high in salt.
Processed food will cause chronic illness.
Salt is blamed.
Or its that they consume so many electrolytes in asia their bodies are good at maintaining a balance for things like the sodium potassium pump for example. Very bad imbalances in sodium/potassium can cause this pump and therefore muscles to fail, like the heart. But that shouldn't happen very often.
Something similar happens with asians in that they consume much more iodine than the US but their thyroids arent very effected by it either.
"We the 'elite' will eat the fats and meats up here at the top, and you peons down there at the bottom will eat all that grass and grain stuff that we give to the pigs and cows."
It all started with Ancel Keys, funded by Rockefeller.
In the 1950's, Americans were suddenly dying of heart attacks like never before. Eisenhower had 2 heart attacks while president, and later died of a heart attack.
People wanted to know ... WTF?
So, Ancel Keys came onto the 3 networks (ABC, CBS, NBC -- all in New York City, so it was easy to go from one studio to the next, and be on every TV in the country). He told the public about his famous "7 Countries Study" (sometimes called the 6 Countries Study because England and Wales were separate data points, but both part of the UK).
It was called the "Diet-Heart Hypothesis."
He said these countries proved that as a society eats more saturated fat, there is more heart disease. And these 7 data points did show that. But ...
... he LIED.
He did not study 7 countries. He studied 22 countries, and cherry picked the 7 to "prove" his point.
The fake news media, with Rockefeller money, pushed this fake study. He was called out on it, and other researchers called him a fraud, but the public only heard one side of the argument.
That's when fake butter, fake oil, fake everything came in.
In the 1970's, Senator McGovern lead a panel to determine what the best diet is for Americans (not that they have any business in this area, per the Constitution). All the experts they brought on said Ancel Keys was WRONG. They said fat is NOT a problem. But McGovern was paid off by Big Agriculture, and that's when they came out with the bogus Food Pyramid.
Since then, they have been demonizing saturated fat because it is profitable to Big Agriculture.
But there has NEVER been a study showing dietary saturated fat and ANY illness. And there never will be. It is very important to eat saturated fat (sorry vegans, your diet is wrong).
BTW, the reason that Americans were getting more heart attacks in the 1950's was due to smoking. Smokers have a 5 times higher rate of heart attacks. Eisenhower smoked 4 packs a day.
In the 1920's, it was Edward Bernays, the American propgandist, who was hired by the tobacco companies to come up with an advertising campaign to get women to start smoking. Make it look glamorous. Soon, women started smoking -- a lot.
It takes about 20-30 years for smoking to take its toll, and by the 1950's, the toll we being paid. TV shows (a new thing in the homes) was sponsered by cigarette companies like Big Pharma is pushed today.
For a great lecture on this, check out David Diamond:
As an aside, Edward Bernays was the nephew of Sigmund Freud. Freud worked on psychology of the individual, whereas Bernays worked on the psychology of the masses (how to manipulate the minds of the masses). He came up with the slogan, "Make the world safe for democracy." That was to manipulate Americans into supporting entry into WW1. They have been using the same slogan ever since to continually beat the war drums.
There was an Oxford professor who did work on all the fat groups, mono poly etc.
He had difficulty explaining scientifically how all of this narrative fitted when you had Inuit living off of seal blubber and polynesians having a diet high in coconut oil and fish oil.
I think that the fewer ingredients in a product the easier it is for the body to process.
Dietician here, AMA.
If you wanna know why our policy has been so fucked up since the 60s, look no further than Ancel Keys seven countries study we based our policy off.
Just like all the fucks espousing shitty policy nowadays he probably knew the truth and was paid off to say otherwise. He probably knew to eat whole foods, animal products, get sunlight, avoid excess drugs, and had decently good genetics. Many people in my family have lived past 100 and weren't too special. In fact, since food used to be better quality he spent most his life around whole organic foods really.
First, they use damaged cows. These cows are A1 cows, which were designed in a lab. A2 cows are the original, natural cows.
The cows get fed crap, so they have to be pumped with antibiotics. They get hormones to make them grow quickly and push out way more milk.
The milk is heated (pastureized), which kills off the good bacteria and enzymes. Then, it is homogenized, which harms the fat and protein molecules.
The process kills off the real Vitamin A and Vitamin D, so they "fortify" the milk with Vit. A & D. Except, it is not real Vit. A & D. It is heated vegetable oils that have a "molecular structure similar to vitamin A and vitamin D," so Big Agriculture can legally call it Vit A/D even though it is not.
The process also changes it to an unnatural color, so they add chalk to make it look white.
It's all this sort of stuff that makes me want to raise my own food. As far as I know it's illegal (in Australia and a lot of places) to sell raw milk. The whole system is broken.
Personal story - How I probably saved my girlfriend's life
I've long known about the reality of fats being the best source of nutrition for humans, and carbohydrates and sugars being fallbacks with some negative side effects. My girlfriend (who I love to death) is type 2 diabetic, and struggles with her weight. She has struggled with her weight since childhood and has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for the past 4 years, and been taking daily insulin and about 7 other medications for approximately 2 and a half years now.
My most fundamental argument I gave, which I must stress is simply that you must remember human evolution. There is a reason we evolved omnivorous, and we have canines. We know for a fact lipid absorption is much higher than carbohydrate and sugar in all humans, and we also know for a fact that carbs and sugars are not only more likely to be stored in fat cells on the body, but are also huge growth factors for cancers and other chronic ailments.
Until recently, that is.
I got through to her at some point. We went to see a health 'counselor' more like, a clinic alternative. They reiterated the exact same points I've made consistently. So as her condition had just been declining and she had basically given up hope, she said she hadn't had anything to lose and so she let me design her diet entirely.
First, we lowered carbohydrate and sugar intake and stopped all medication and insulin immediately. This had her blood sugar out of control for about 2 months still (which was expected), but after the first 2 months I decided to make the diet extremely strict.
Zero carbohydrate, zero sugar (aside from what exists in some vegetables), high lipid diet. Lots of meat - beef and pork only. She has a bunch of allergies due to gut health issues too so we couldn't do duck or chicken eggs even. No fruit. No medication, no insulin. 1 meal per day, intermittent fasting. For a while her blood sugar was still out of control, but now it has been 3 months. Here are the results:
I, who weighed 225lbs at 6'1" lost 30lbs despite the fact I didn't event intend to follow the diet. We live together and make all our meals together. I enjoy a good rare steak better than any kind of sugar or carb, so I was more than happy just eating meat all the time.
My girlfriend, who 3 months ago without medication was having blood sugar levels regularly above 200 without her medication and insulin and had massively inflated triglyceride levels, has now been almost cured of type 2 diabetes.
Yes, you heard that part right.
Cured.
She now has blood sugar levels just slightly above normal range (110ish) on the daily, without the medications and insulin. She lost 25lbs, and is continuing to lose more. She had a wide range of nasty side effects and symptoms of her medications, now all gone thanks to not needing any of them. Her gut health is also improving. Her triglyceride levels are now within normal range despite a lipid based diet. We still are continuing the diet and for the foreseeable future will not be introducing any carbohydrates or sugars.
All this, done through diet alone. Again, a true zero carbohydrate and zero sugar diet; low sugar and low carbohydrate is not enough to fix this for a diabetic! This is because the body is so resistant to insulin, that when the body comes in contact with these sugars and cannot process them appropriately, it causes the blood sugar levels to stay elevated for extended periods of time - which prevents the resistance from appropriately decreasing by staying at low resting levels.
Note: Contrary to what many might think, weight loss as a diabetic is EXTREMELY difficult; This is because of the negative feedback loop whereby the insulin resistance of the body doesn't process sugars properly. More insulin injections heighten this resistance while treating the 'symptom' of high blood sugar and its effects, but WORSEN the condition of the recipient over time due to growing resistance and reliance, and prevent weight loss by removing adequate sugar from diet in order to maintain blood sugar levels in 'normal ranges'.
This 'treatment' is the equivalent of trying to give physical therapy to someone stuck in a wheelchair without allowing them to get up, and expecting them to be able to use their legs.
Hope you all found this informational and/or useful. Stay healthy, frens.
Natural fats are good, refined carbs (and sugars) are bad. And right now there are more refined carbs in everything we eat than natural fats by a long shot. Fats do not spike blood sugar. Refined carbs do. Natural carbs from fruits and veggies are better, but it's best to try to reduce carbs entirely. The carnivore or keto diets are really ingenious.
All carbs will elevate blood sugar. It's just that some do it a little quicker than others.
All carbs break down to glucose, or glucose and fructose. Both of those are of no real benefit to humans. You can do it, but that does not mean it is necessary or healthy.
Of course, fiber does not break down (by definition), but it is harmful to the digestive tract, and should be avoided.
I'll take your "no fiber" rule and raise you my husband's liquid shits the second he gets out of bed and races to beat me to the bathroom before I have to spend 15 minutes in there for my before work routine. Been fighting that battle for 2 decades. Stank ass beats exhaust fan every time.
Good job! Sea salt is great for you because it has alot of the necessary minerals our bodies need to thrive. Table salt is just bleached down to no end leaving only the sodium chloride which has no real benefit to us except raising our blood pressure. I take Celtic sea salt and pour it into a Mason jar about 1/3 full and the rest with water and let sit overnight until the salt crystals dissolve to the bottom leaving just some remains of them left. I just add a single table spoon from that jar to a glass of water and it tastes pretty good.
Disclaimer: if you choose to do this. Be sure not to use a metal lid as the salt will react with the metal making the water bad, use a rubber seal or some sort.
Yeah you drink the water after adding the table spoon or even a teaspoon of the salt water. I usually add it to a big glass of water. If it tastes to salty try a smaller spoonful. I believe that would be equal to your daily salt intake.
Last night, I rewatched a documentary that changed my life: Fathead.
Before that documentary, I had spent 10+ years trying to lose weight following the "recommended guidelines" (sugar is good, load up on carbs, don't eat much meat, fat is evil, everyone eats too much protein already, etc), and kept gaining more and more weight.
After I watched Fathead when it first came out, I switched to that documentary's recommendations (plenty of protein and fat, no more than 100g of Carbs per day), and the weight just came right off.
So, last night I rewatched Fathead again, and now that we're "awake" to the cabal and deep state, the movie takes a on such a sinister undertone...
You should give it a watch if you haven't before... in today's world with what we now know about the "elites", it's all so obvious now...
I agree with you. Some people are using their own personal experience as 'proof' of one thing or another. My g/f and I eat pretty much the same food but I'm as skinny as a rake, and she puts on weight. I'm 'regular', she's constipated. She has high blood pressure and low cholesterol, I have low blood pressure and high cholesterol (we've been together for almost 30 years so this is not a casual observation). By all accounts, I have a very high metabolism, she doesn't.
The only way you can really make sense of this stuff is when you study a large sample of people. Also, you may feel great until ... you don't. I know people who have died of heart-attacks and cancer after what they considered a healthy existence. When you study people who are reaching 90, 100 years old with few medical problems, then you can start drawing conclusions.
Men have faster metabolisms because they have higher muscle mass. Having more muscle makes you burn more calories. This fact alone could be why you and your girlfriend differ so greatly health-wise. Not an expert, just my two cents. It's pretty common to see couples walking around the store where the man is much thinner than the woman.
High blood pressure is a sign the body is under stress and adapting. Could be a hormonal issue, could be heavy metal poisoning, could be another toxin that has previously put a load on the body.
Does she have any metal fillings?
Does she have a healthy thyroid? Iodine can help with that regarding metabolism.
Does she take any medications?
Or she could simply have a sensitivity in the food you might not. I think dairy and the hormones in meat can have a harder impact on women than men.
I believe it is because potato farming is a highly chemical-ized process. Potatoes themselves are fine, especially if you avoid Russet Brown, the cheapest and most common potato in the US. Do your own research, though.
Whole milk, any milk... why do adult humans drink the baby food meant for the growing young of another species? Stick with the cream and butter, the milk itself is pro growth. That will eventually introduces problems for adults.
After years of hearing about the many health benefits of eating soy, it was all turned around by the acknowledgment that components of soy mimic estrogen, and can really screw up the human endocrine system.
I actually saw a medical doctor on TV listing the many products containing soy that should be avoided. One was coffee creamer. He said not only don't use it in your coffee, but if you accidentally get some on your hands, you should wash them immediately.
I think I laughed out loud. Soy had gone from wonder food to toxic cleanup status without changing at all.
So I pretty much eat eggs every single day along with cheese and I also like to drink low fat milk. I'll occasionally throw in chicken and beef. Recently been adding asparagus to diet to try and hit the vegetable group. Been trying to avoid bread as much as possible. And I make fruit smoothies with vitamin supplements to make sure I get the vitamins I need, though the sugar content is admittedly high so I should probably cut that out.
Anything I'm doing wrong? I've never really thought of myself as someone who eats "healthy"... I tend to just eat what I want to eat. But I've been told my whole life that I eat too many eggs, that I should avoid dairy since it can cause cancer, and that I should stay away from red meat as well since a relative died of cancer from eating too many meats.
I don't know who the fuck to listen to anymore.
EDIT: Also I drink a lot of bottled water everyday.
Avoid the milk. It has the milk sugar, lactose. The cream only is good as it is fat. Of course fruit smoothies are full of sugar so avoid that as well.
Sugar is not needed at all in our diet. The few parts of our body that does need sugar, our body can make what it needs out of the protein we consume.
Raw milk, eggs and red meat are excellent foods as long as they are organic. The way these foods were meant to be.
Drink when you are thirsty.
Cancer causing stuff is from unnatural additives, preservatives and chemicals and TOO MUCH SUGAR as cancer feeds off of sugar!!
Thank you. Raw milk and organic eggs and meat? So in other words, buy from a farm lol. Unfortunately not too many farms around where I live sadly. Plus it generally costs more from experience, but I guess the old saying you get what you pay for applies here.
Raw milk is fantastic but it is hard to buy as it is illegal to sell it for human consumption in the U.S.
Yes, you would have to buy all these things from a farm. Small farms are something we have gotten away from to the detriment of our health. A century ago, 95% of citizens had their own gardens, chickens and maybe a cow. It is now the opposite of that as Big farms have driven out the small farmers. Our food supply is at the mercy of the few who cut corners for profit at the expense of health and also the humane treatment of the animals.
If you must eat sugar (natural) carbs then eat in moderation and make sure you balance them out by eating proteins and fats with them. This will mitigate the sugar spike that comes with eating sugar. Balance your Protein-Fat-Carbs each meal!
Raw meat. Raw eggs. Skip the dairy, drop the leaves and sticks.
Hear me out: I’ve done zero carb carnivore on raw meat only, seared blue rare steak with over easy eggs and cooked dairy, and mostly cooked.
On raw meat I felt extremely clear, balanced and at peace. My photos from that period I looked 10 years younger.
Partly cooked + dairy , I did okay and lost weight but found myself constantly craving more dairy and feeling sluggish (relative to raw) and digestion wasn’t the best.
On cooked I had way too low energy and had vapid thirst.
If you want to do zero carb carnivore I highly recommend doing mostly raw. You’re gonna thrive after the adaption phase. Then once the Candida reverts back to yeast form you can do some raw fruit here and there.
100% man I eat raw unsalted butter by the fucking ton you cant eat too much raw fat or protein your body will just pass it through if there is too much. COOKED? the fat particles will harden in your body but u can use raw fats like advocadoa even if it is plant based to clean out ur arteries using RAW fat God made it so simple like that. Back in the day people just ate cooked food for preservation reasons etc salted meats which are super unhealthy, but now with vaccines etc people need the real stuff to counter act all the toxins we are in contact with every day. if you want complete refutation of supplements , medicine, how to live to 200 years old easily research Aajonus Vonderplanitz.
ATM i eat raw chicken and raw pork everyday because my body likes white meat better at the present time but that can change you need to listen to what u body needs sometimes b ut u need the key information or you will not know how to proceed. Big pharma hates him! Of yea and if you dont want to spend money on meat you can do like me at the present moment I go to a farm and twice a week pick up 2 large pails of milk forget how many gallons each but I drink about 1 a day. Raw milk is the most nutritious liquid on the planet you can drink even if I dont eat anything else I could live off just that for pretty much as long as I want I eat meat because I enjoy working out and the massive gains but it could be easily doable and it costs like 30 dollars a week to get all the nutrition you will ever need basically if you live off raw milk alone it really helps to save money to invest it and shit you have an extra paycheck basically if you save money this way and you dont need caffeine or anything else you have insane amounts of energy especially on raw unsalted butter and raw unsalted cheeses.
Sugar is extremely addictive, in a lot of ways.
Watermelon juice tastes nice though.
This.
Sugar shorts out your entire metabolism.
I have friends that move to the US from All over the world and they are fucking terrified by the sugar intake and they can’t eat the food.
Do yourself a favor and try this:
I’m not kidding.
My wife as well.
My break fast comprises banana based smoothies, preferably sweet, ripe banana. Of note: I am not an excessive sugar eater. I just crave sugar after fasting.
High fructose corn syrup is more addictive than cocaine.
https://archive.org/details/That.Sugar.Film.2014
Changed my life!
It is. Worse than crack, and probably worse for you as well.
Parasites do live well off sugar, just like cancer.
I was wondering about that. Thanks.
I'm going through this now and can empathize. Took years to figure out what was going on, all the while getting progressively worse. Magnesium bicarbonate has been really helpful as well.
FTFY :) those things are not in addition to sugar; they're forms of it
Agreed. It's just that some people make a silly distinction, saying, for example, that potato is healthy sugar, and corn syrup is not. Of course, eating potato or fruit is eating sugar as far as the body is concerned.
Yup
The issue with sugar is that it causes fermentation in the digestive tract. Fermented and putrefied byproducts all feed pathogenic organisms.
True, that is another issue with sugar
Have you looked into natural turpentine
Do have some good sources on this? I lost my dad to cancer and would like to know more if you don’t mind?

Thank you!
:) 👍
Unfortunately just this abstract after doing a quick search. The research seems pretty new on this topic, and there's a lot of conflicting articles.

Thanks!
It’s not necessary.
I agree with you, the more I learn about parasites, the more it seems they are the root of all/most diseases and the cabal wants us all full of parasites so we are riddled with disease and feed the medical industrial complex.
One might be behooved into taking this sound advice! A pox on the neigh-sayers!
Time to gallop to the Tractor Supply warehouse for some more 'mectin for hoovman consumption
I bought some horse paste ivermectin on Amazon of all places. Was perfect for my 180 lb, uh...horse.
I wouldn't saddle a person with anything less than ivermectin
that's interesting
Interdasting!
My thoughts exactly.
A lot, in fact. Under supervision ketosis has been used to solid effect since those cancers cannot feed on ketones.
Everything in moderation. Problem solved.
That is false.
I eat ONLY animal products. The more fat the better.
The average person could not afford to slay and eat a chicken every night.
Well we should define which "ancestors". Are we talking after the discovery of farming or before?
Balance is key.
You don't need a lot of edamame to reach protein goals, but of course that's one vegetable.
I'm not a fan of broccoli either. I'll eat it, but a steak is a lot more fun
Actually, technically they’re not. We don’t possess the bacteria that breaks down cellulose, such as a gorilla. Our digestive tracts most closely mirror a wolves- with one exception: we have an appendix.
Don’t need fiber at all. We can’t digest fiber
You mean besides Pop Tarts?
LOL
That would be the carbohydrate molecule
There are essential amino acids
And essential fatty acids
There are no essential carbohydrates
Essential = special dietary term meaning these MUST be consumed in the diet, as they are necessary for life but the body cannot make them
Yep, people dont understand this at all. The go on crazy diets, no this, no that, its just crazy. If you just eat everything in moderation you can be quite healthy.
Cut down on anything thats processed and refined (especially sugars) and you will be fine.
This is very true.
Huge portion sizes too.
dose is the poison. sugar, low quality oils, low quality carbs, lack of activity
cut back heavily on the sugar
avoid garbage cooking oils like vegetable oil and its many seed based derivatives - stick with butter, beef tallow, coconut oil, olive oil and other oils extracted from the flesh of stuff
carbs. problem is twofold, abundance in so many dishes and not actually using them. if you train and do alot of physical activity they are a beneficial source of energy and restock muscle glycogen stores, but pack on the body fat when you eat a crapton and don't make use of them. not to mention the abundance of junk carb sources in american foods that combine the sugars and low quality oils mentioned before.
in the modern era, one's light diet trumps food diet. But hardly anybody pays attention to their light diet, and that's a big problem.
Do you mean exposure to different light sources like the sun, screens etc?
The importance of vitamin D through Sunlight cannot be understated.
It's unfortunately not quite that simple. There are some things where the downsides so outweigh the "taste" or pleasure that it's just not worth it.
I'll let your rebuttal speak for itself.
It's a carbohydrate (hydrocarbon) chain, the length doesn't make any difference. What's the problem? Drink up. Excellent source of low fat calories.
Georgia Eads:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdRBFiBWQZQ
Then what are you supposed to eat? Just meat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?
All animal foods: beef, pork, chicken, turkey, duck, fish, seafood, organ meats, eggs, cheese, yogurt, kefir, milk, cream, butter.
Try it. For just one day. I double-dog dare ya.
When I did carnivore I found all unpleasant body odors to completely vanish. Do you smell amazing and sweet on the carnivore diet?
What a positive! You know I haven't paid any attention, I will have to! It is so wonderful for so many reasons!
It sounds great. Could you give me some ideas of what you eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner?
Periodic fasting is also VERY important for health and longevity. If you're not familiar with water fasting for 3-5+ days I would highly recommend doing some research about it and start incorporating it into your lifestyle.
Water (only) fasting is the best thing, bar none, that I have ever done for my health. I usually do a 7-10 day water (only) fast every quarter. In between I intermittent fast (16/8) daily.
More or less, depending on my schedule allowance for doing so.
I would love to, but I can hardly keep my weight at a healthy level as it is, in spite of already eating pretty much all day.
You need carbohydrates to start the pyruvic acid cycle that metabolizes your nutrients into your biochemistry. Without it, you will lose tons of weight because your body isn't using any of your other food.
This is true ... IF you eat carbs.
That is nonsense. Without dietary carbs, your body will run on fat, via ketones and fatty acids.
Ever try high meat? I’ve got 2 year old beef heart that tastes like a fine cave aged Gruyere and I get stupidly happy when I eat it
No they actually are not.
Just look up vegan videos on youtube, some of them are seriously scary looking.
wrong.
Juicing is bad for you, not eating fruits and vegetables. How many apples can you eat in one sitting? Now guess how many apples it takes to make apple juice. Juicing also tends to remove the pulp, which has a purpose of slowing down the uptake of sugar into the bloodstream.
My problems came from drinking vegetable juice greens and other veggies, not fruit juice.
Oxalic acid most likely. Spinach especially
That doesn’t mean you don’t need fruits and vegetables at all.
Try eating a meat and carb only diet, your stomach will hurt.
This lady got out of wheel chair from a mostly intensely nutritious plant diet:
https://youtu.be/b7-b13aThpU
A meat only diet has helped many as well. Mostly those with autoimmune diseases, like Jordan Peterson's daughter.
I also eat fermented and pro&pre-biotic foods.
Actually, it DOES mean that.
Keep up the good work.
Here's something else. Fruits and vegetables have been manipulated to be basically unrecognizable: https://www.sciencealert.com/fruits-vegetables-before-domestication-photos-genetically-modified-food-natural/amp
But again, look up vegans and look at how malnourished they get.
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=vegan+malnutrition+compilation
There is also idioblasts. different plants have different defense mechanisms. Depends on the plant.
But what do you think of eating a portion of meal with one third veggies like lettuce, tomatoes, beetroots, radish etc, all raw, and one third meat and one third carbs ?
I am still not sure about fruits.
But you don't really need them.
Are we just ignoring the fact that the bacteria in your gut feed off of the fiber that you eat?
My understanding is that some parts of your gut microbiome depend on good, healthy fiber for fuel.
The gut flora will change when your diet changes.
The bacteria that eat fiber are only there BECAUSE you are eating fiber. Change your diet and those bacteria will morph into something more useful.
They are working hard on all that fiber to PROTECT you, because if they don't, your colon will get blocked, and you will die.
Just give them a different job to do, which will help you be healthier, by getting that fiber out of your diet.
I think my understanding was that the flora that thrive on fiber are the ones most symbiotic with our systems, but it would be very interesting to know if our gut Flora can produce any nutrients.
I know they can produce some hormones, but I wonder if they could possibly produce nutrients depending on what they can feed on.
Do you have any knowledge to share on that?
I have lived my life in stretches eating high fiber food and other stretches eating very low fiber food. Trust me when I say you need non digestible fiber.
I would agree with you. At the very minimum, high fiber helps avoid constipation. Some people are lucky in that they don't get constipation without fiber, but fiber is really helpful to most.
I think its best to eat what you find works good for your body. But never eliminate animal products.
rather than nutrients, you mostly lose alot of weight eating only veggies or fruits because they are almost completely devoid of calories.
Interesting. Any relevant articles or videos you can provide?
I have a child with autism that becomes a normal person once she's on amoxicillin. 5 days later the autism comes right back. I've been trying to figure it out why for years. We thought it was motrin. They call it fever shock. There was a study conducted a few years ago, which various websites try to label as insufficient evidence, that sulforaphane produced this same response and about 37% of participants were free of autistic behavior while on the supplement.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25808801/
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27071786/ . https://n.neurology.org/content/90/15_Supplement/N1.002
Amoxicillin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria. Maybe your child needs gut health support.
Salt too
My family member has had heart issues and her doctor has advised her to remove all salt from her diet. It’s complete nonsense! Our bodies NEED salt to survive. This doesn’t take a smart person to understand. How do doctors continue to get away with pushing all these lies?
Because they are brainwashed and are not taught nutrition in detail. If they were then there would be no need for all those pharmaceuticals.
Here’s a great resource for whole body health recovery (teeth too!) https://www.westonaprice.org/
Was going to add this. Salt is good for you, and does not cause heart attacks.
Salt is a really interesting subject.
Sunlight too! Keeping us from that Vit D!
The only D I take.
Can't get sufficient Vitamin D living anywhere north of Florida during winter
The FDA got the entire Food Pyramid wrong for years....
Pyramid, you say? Hmmmmm.
Sugar was the capstone
Planned wrong on purpose for money.
If you think about it like this though --
"We the 'elite' will eat the fats and meats up here at the top, and you peons down there at the bottom will eat all that grass and grain stuff that we give to the pigs and cows."
Then, it sorta makes sense, in an evil way.
Exactly. Too many grains not enough meat.
For a great lecture on this, check out David Diamond:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vr-c8GeT34
As an aside, Edward Bernays was the nephew of Sigmund Freud.
That’s a great read.
Butter over margarine being a good example.
If God put it on the earth, it has a purpose. Even green peppers.
Yes, but not necessarily for humans. Pigs need to eat, too.
;-)
Dietician here, AMA. If you wanna know why our policy has been so fucked up since the 60s, look no further than Ancel Keys seven countries study we based our policy off.
That's the guy in the 50s that decided that dietary fat (specifically animal fats and saturated fats) cause heart disease.
He famously disregarded data points that conflicted with his pre-determined outcome, because the cabal was paying him to push sugar and carbohydrates.
Adrenochrome.
Probably
I have long wondered what they have done to cows milk that babies can't drink it. Nowadays they have to have FORMULA at $20 a can.
Here's what they do --
First, they use damaged cows.
Yum, yum ...
It's all this sort of stuff that makes me want to raise my own food. As far as I know it's illegal (in Australia and a lot of places) to sell raw milk. The whole system is broken.
Here in the midwest (US) also. They say if you drink it you will die.
A2 raw milk is awesome
I'd like to know where you are buying your meat?
I'd like to get chickens to lay eggs that are real, not GMO offspring.
What about Fish? Can we ensure the fish we get isn't processed? No lakes around us and if there was, I wouldn't have time to go out and catch them.
It’s when you boil milk it breaks down the bacteria which is ment to help you, no homo fren.
Then we need raw milk, right? I'm female but I get the no homo. LOL
Yes it was a play on words word up.
She’s not Homo she likes the vitamin D
That’s very cool. I hope she will have great health.
Might be worth investing in a second toilet lol..
LOL!
Salt kills parasites.
Something that stood out to me was when a person reminded me there use to be wars over salt, and it dawned on me how important it really is!
There is a video of a young gazelle literally climbing a 87 degree vertical dam to lick salt
Salt can be good for drying out and purifying things in the body. I never worry about salt. If you’re thirsty just rehydrate.
Funny you mentioned this.
Where do I find this documentary “Fathead”
Its on Usenet if you have a Newsbin subscription Released in 2009 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1333994/
It's on youtube for free.
Also, "Supersize Me" is a great watch.
Kek, I just started watching "Fathead" and the first 3 minutes of it are already trashing "Supersize Me"
edit: literally the entire documentary is a rebuttal of Supersize Me.
Whole milk, eggs and red meat are great for you
Whole pasteurized milk? Or unpasteurized?
Just food for thought. Be well.
I gave up years ago when I read that potatoes of all things were found to cause cancer
I believe it is because potato farming is a highly chemical-ized process. Potatoes themselves are fine, especially if you avoid Russet Brown, the cheapest and most common potato in the US. Do your own research, though.
The skin contains a potent toxin
Potatoes are toxic to humans, if not cooked.
That should be a clue.
Everyone should read the Borax Conspiracy. You're probably Boron deficient.
Their lies made me physically sick. Once I learned the truth I started getting my health back.
This is why we should regularly fast!
All the talk about parasites and cholesterol and what not. There are Health as well as spiritual benefits to the practise of fasting.
I’ve only just started again. It should be a part of everyone’s life or at least every religious persons life. To deny the self.
Also, they lie about everything. At some point you have to come to grips with that reality. If you don't, it will eat you away inside.
Yes
Sugar is my one weakness sadly.
I think what is healthy varies with a persons genetic background.
how much bit coin for this grand secret.
Every time they speak. God says "there is No truth in them".
No truth is zero
Cut out seed oils. Use olive oil instead.
Raw meat.
Back about 20 years my kid's pediatrician said we should never give a kid low fat or no fat milk.
He said kids need the fats for proper brain development and that we should give the kid plenty of meats and eggs.
Have not seen him in years so I don't know how he feels about the Clot Shot for kids.

This is a great video expressing exactly that.
Ancel Keys and company are responsible for the current Standard American Diet. Look him up.
Too many times to count in my time.
